Although there are no dedicated hotel staff, the wetherspoon bar staff were helpful and responsive. Didn't need to queue at the bar -- just catch anyone who doesn't have their hands full and they will assist. Nice exposed beams in room and pretty comfortable.

No fan in bathroom and eventually rot will set in -- shower fixed too low for average height person, and fixed in exposed beam which will give way at some point. Annoyingly, the hotel won't store luggage after checkout (which is a pretty normal expectation really -- and they do have a locked reception office where it could easily have been kept).

Everything! Staff were friendly and sorted out a room when we asked if we could stay another night. At times it was very busy but this did not change the service we received. The building is old, with uneven floors, but this only added to the charm of the place (there were warning signs about the floors). The tea/coffee provided were above what I expected - I've never seen sachets of oat milk being provided before and it was topped up every day! The bed was really comfortable, with pillows that looked and felt like pillows (not the pancakes we had in a different hotel!) The restaurant was brilliant, catering for an uncommon allergy without issue. When we return to the area later in the year, we will be booking to stay here - hopefully to one of the two rooms we stayed in.

Nothing! Please see above.

The room was on a high floor so had hoped it had fulfilled our room request. The room had everything we needed for a 1 night stay. Bed was comfy and there were soft pillows which suited us. Ideally situated in the centre of town. As it was a Wetherspoon establishment, drink & food prices were good. Ordered & paid for breakfast at the bar, order taken by a very friendly polite female member of staff. Food came promptly.

Had asked for a quiet room, which I guess was a tall order for a hotel with a popular pub on the ground floor. Our room was on a high floor, however until after midnight, when the pub closed, one of the pubs entry/exit doors on the side entrance slammed with a thud continuously.

Customer service was outstanding, they couldn't do enough to make our stay any better . Radiator wasn't working so our room was very cold which they rectified immediately by fetching us a Dyson heater to use . Warmed us and the room immediately. Very happy . Breakfast was very tasty and an extremely good price . Check in was smooth even though the visa machine wasn't working properly. Very friendly staff .

The light at the front of the hotel reflecting back into the room all night making it very bright and not much sleep. Could do with some blackout blinds as well as the thick curtains . Rooms dated but it is an old building.

Being a Weatherspoons Pub/Hotel you expect the furniture etc to be a little tired. On the positive side though the staff were all very pleasant attentive and helpful. If thought they all worked very hard and made us feel welcome. One surprise was the lovely open fire in the front section of the pub area which was maintained well a gave out a friendly aura. Car park was great (free for guests) although the access to it quite narrow (I understand the council wont let then use the sensible way in to the carpark). Food generally pretty good, especially for the price.

Breakfast on the sunday was better (in my opinion) than that on monday.

As before, the staff are really friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The room was very clean and well stocked, first time I have ever seen oat milk put out with the tea and coffee. The breakfast menu is really good and great value for money. The location is spot on.

The shower was a bit on the cosy side, I was fine but my husband is a bigger being and found it too small for comfort.

Location for me is perfect and confess to being a George 'fan', ideally located in the centre of Bewdley. Lovely small town with great riverside walks and collection of good restaurants if wanting something different from the (good) menu on offer at the inn. Staff always helpful and rooms comfortable and clean. I'm sure I will return (again)

Bit of a trek to the car park if needing to depart before 7am. Route from the bedrooms via the restaurant to the rear exit is now closed off before this time and means having to leave via the side/front passage and walking round the streets.

The George is a lovely traditional pub hotel restaurant that’s enjoyed by locals and visitors alike . my room was suitable for a solo traveler, with a well presented shower toilet en suite very clean and tidy. The room had tea and coffee making facilities, with complimentary biscuits, iron and ironing board . The bar and restaurant sell very reasonable priced food and drinks . All the staff working at the hotel are young but very professional, polite, attentive and helpful . The cleaning staff very efficient, friendly, helpful. There is a conservatory dining area, and lounge dining area ideal for large groups. The George is in the center of this lovey town.

I like every thing about the property

Lying in our bed in the room directly under the roof of this lovely old property, we enjoyed the black beams against the white background. The room can be reached through a maze of corridors with stairs. Fortunately, there is also a shortcut. You have to take quite a number of stairs if you have been given the room on the top floor. But the staff kindly offer to bring your luggage up for you. So it is not a problem after all. The inn has an extensive menu with something for everyone, including a vegetarian English breakfast.

The George is an above average Spoons but with all the same facilities as all over the national chain except also with accommodation. Bewdley is a delightful place, very picturesque with many good places to eat and drink. Not a bad free museum.

It didn't unduly impact us because they seemed to be working very hard but the staff seemed a little bit rushed off their feet. It was a bit noisy because someone seemed to be driving around a little bit with an exhaust pipe adapted in order to make the maximum racket
