Good location, quiet road, very comfortable room. We could have had breakfast, for an extra cost, but decided to eat out. It is possible to walk to the sea and into Old Hastings, but it is quite a way, and uphill all the way back!

It sounded like the bathroom fan in the room next door had been left on all night. Upon checking I’d not left anything behind, I noticed some items of rubbish under the bed that had been missed by the housekeeping staff, and some patches of black mould were visible on the bathroom ceiling, but generally the room was clean and comfortable.

We stayed here for a week and had a lovely stay. Everyone at the property was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and had everything we needed. It is in a good location not far from the train station and the town of St Leonards. A nice 20 minute walk along the front to Hastings too.We had a cream tea one afternoon which the owners do for £10. The table was set up in the garden for us and the tea and scones were delicious would highly recommend. They have not been doing them long but it was lovely and is offered to the public as well as guests so for the price if you are local or staying as a guest I definitely recommend you visit and book. A lovely setting the garden is very pretty and we were luck enough to have the owner James play the guitar for us and sing some songs. He was very friendly and made us laugh an unexpected extra which made our afternoon.😃 I can not speak highly enough about our stay. Thank you to The Tower House 1066 we will definitely be returning in the future.

This was exactly what I expected for the price. The room was very clean and the bed was so comfy. It was about a 20 - 25 minute walk into town but the bus service was good for the way home. Train station was only about 15 minute walk away too. Staff were very friendly, we had 1 problem but was sorted before we came back at the end of the day. Didn't have the breakfast so can't comment on this.

Parking is on street, but we got a space and then didn't move the car again. Buses are plentiful

Nice warm cosy place with a good breakfast. I was attending a friend's funeral so I just needed somewhere to spend the night, I wasn't there for pleasure. It was good to in welcoming surroundings.

The parking could have been an issue if I had been there for longer as it is in a very busy street. Also there are limited options within walking distance for an evening meal; admittedly I was there on a Monday and there is a Thai restaurant nearby which is open on other occasions.

I'll certainly be coming back here again...lovely comfortable little place..only stayed one night, but what an exceptional hotel! Clean comfortable room, felt so relaxed, the receptionist was very friendly and even helped me with reheating food and i slept very well as well..the location is pretty easy to find, from St Leonard's on Sea Warrior railway station, just a quick 15 minutes walk away, and the seaside is not far either! A great pity i couldn't afford breakfast, but next time will be lovely!

Tower House 1066 was perfectly situated. It was very quiet. Not too far at all from the main seafront and the town of Hastings. James and Camilla were extremely friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make our stay brilliant. The ground floor rooms were fantastic for both me and my mum, as we have mobility issues. It was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was exceptionally yummy. Fantastic price, too. We will definitely use them again.

I can't think of anything at all that we didn't like.

The hotel was clean and welcoming. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and spacious, with tea and coffee making facilities, towels and shampoos and soaps provided. It is in a quiet area overnight and there was 24/7 access to the building which was great. Only a 15 minute walk from the sea front.

I hadn't realised the car parking was on street parking. I got a space close by, but it is busy, so you may need to search for a space. In fairness I hadn't looked at the detail, just noted the parking icon in the main advert.

Tower House 1066 is a lovely, spacious guest house in a residential neighbourhood 10 minutes up from the station (mind those hills!). It is cosy though, and pretty quiet. The decor is fresh and colourful and the best asset is the super comfy four-poster beds. Wow, I need a mattress topper for my home! It was hard to leave the bed, especially as the clocks skipped ahead by one hour - bad timing! The room was spacious with plenty of space to chill out, sit, do one's makeup, get ready, etc. The bathroom was a good size too with fantastic storage for toiletries. I never have storage or shelving for toiletries when I travel! Staff were also really accomodating to my unusual travel times (dropped bag off before check-in, collected my key really late after reception closed). All was much appreciated.

The only thing that slightly concerned me is that one of my windows didn't close and lock shut, so it didn't shut out the noise from the street. It wasn't super noisy, but the road outside does see a lot of cars during the morning.

The location of Tower House 1066 was great for the purpose of why we had went, we had an event at the Oval hastings and it was a 15 minute walk from the venue. The town centre is also within walking distance around 15-20 minutes. The staff were polite, friendly and helpful telling us where we could go if we wanted to get food and also helping us with travel tips. The rooms were clean and the beds were really comfortable, each room came with 2 bottles of water and had shower gel / soap as well as towels in each room.

The service was very good and the breakfast was excellent the bad criticism i had read before i stayed didnt weigh up at all the room was very clean and tidy with plenty of space to put anything i sure would use it again if i was in the area.

The only thing that I feel could be better is to have a bath mat to go inside the bath to stop one slipping. No fault of the guest house but the on street parking is a nightmare.
