Great hosts, friendly lots of good recommendations for places to eat in the local area. Superb breakfast fresh ingredients home made jams- very good. Location was great beautiful surrounding countryside. Had we not of been with my elderly Mother we would have walked around the local countryside. If you’re a Walker perfect location. And a nice comfy place to return to.

My bed was a bit hard- the room was very comfortable but I would have like a topper on the mattress.

On arrival welcomed with tea and cake, lovely touch from Inga. Very spacious room with great seating area and good-sized bathroom. A real bonus to have access to a private lounge with tv. Very convenient to have own access to our room via our own balcony. Wonderful views from our room. Very tranquil area. Excellent breakfast with plenty of choices. Overall a great relaxing stay, thank you.

On our first morning we could not change the temperature in the shower. This fault was quickly addressed by Malcolm which we appreciated. We were surprised that the towel rail was not working but Inga kindly ensured that our towels were dried every day. The TV in the bedroom was too low to view effectively but as said we did have access to the TV in the lounge. Good furniture in the room but disappointing not to have a chest of drawers. Although the location was wonderful and tranquil, access for c. 1 mile to/fro the property is tricky down a few narrow lanes.

I know we will never stay in such a fabulous country bed and breakfast place again! The Larches is a total experience. Including the drive there, and the welcome from Inga and Malcolm makes you feel at home. There are only 3 rooms available and we booked two for a birthday outing to the Malvern Hills. We were the only visitors and we had a beautifully furnished lounge with terrace and chairs to enjoy the countryside sunshine and air. If we were staying more than one night we would have gone on one of the many walks around the property. There is a fridge in the visitors lounge so you can keep your picnic items in there overnight. The English breakfast was superb, or you could choose the continental breakfast or salmon and scrambled eggs. Supplemented by cereals, fresh fruit and porridge. The bread for the toast and the ingredients for the English breakfast were locally sourced. We have never seen such large sausages before.

There are no improvements we can suggest it was a FABULOUS experience!

Our stay here exceeded all expectations. We were greeted warmly, had tea and cake outside brought to us by the host, they helped us with a last minute booking for dinner at a recommended pub (The Oak), and were overall very welcoming and friendly. Our room was comfortable, clean and had all the amenities we needed including a top up as we stayed multiple nights. It was lovely having a space to sit and rest outside of the room. The grounds were also beautiful with nice walking routes. Breakfast was fresh with local produce, excellently made. We particularly liked that they make your food to order so minimal wastage. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Highly recommend

A lovely remote property with a superb breakfast. Inge is very personable. Can also highly recommend The Bell Inn in Bosbury who do very reasonably priced home cooked food. The portions are huge. Visiting in December I was unfortunately not really able to make the most of the stunning surrounding countryside

The Larches is exceptionally difficult to find if you don't have a sat nav that can programme navigation coordinates. Perhaps a bigger sign or lights at the bottom of the drive might help ?? But big thanks to Malcolm for rescuing me when I got lost. I found the room a little bit cold but the temperature had plummeted unexpectedly on the weekend I visited.

The setting was beautiful and really quiet. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and spotlessly clean, and everything we could have needed had been thoughtfully provided. Our hostess was friendly and attentive, even bringing tea and cake up to our room on arrival. Breakfast was superb and generous, and we were directed to a local pub that served a good dinner. We were made to feel really welcome at The Larches and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The house and location is fabulous. The welcome we received was second to none and we immediately felt at home. We were so grateful that we could come and go via their back entrance and also use the lounge whenever we wanted to. That meant we could have a walk in the glorious countryside after a wonderful breakfast and then come back to get ready for a wedding in the afternoon. The best place to stay ever!

A warm welcome from Inga and Malcolm was only the start of a lovely stay at The Larches, an amazing property in beautiful Herefordshire countryside. Nice size bedroom (v comfy bed), generous bathroom well stocked with toiletries, FABULOUS cooked breakfast (didn't need to eat again till dinner time).

Really, nothing. The Larches would meet any reasonable expectations, and at the current rate represents exceptional value for money.

The location was beautiful and very peaceful. The owners were extremely friendly and most helpful. The breakfast was spectacular especially the local sausage, bacon and apple juice!

Everything was lovely but aesthetically the furnishings were very dark. This is obviously personal choice but white linens would make a massive difference.

Everything.. The house. The bedroom. The garden. All was spotlessly clean and tidy. Inge and Malcolm were extremely kind and helpful. The breakfast was so outstanding it was as though we were in a Michelin star restaurant Nothing was too much trouble. And last but not least they had a gorgeous labrador that greeted you. We would definitely recommend this place to anybody who likes the countryside and who would like to be spoilt and looked after
