Its a B&B with your own private cottage. Penny and Andy the owners were excellent hosts, breakfast was amazingl and served precisely at the time requested. We were going to a wedding during our stay i contacted Penny before our arrival to ask about local taxis, she sent us a list to choose from. A few days before we arrived penny sent a message asking what time we would like breakfast and if we preferred tea or coffee. The cottage is in a very quite area and the views are lovely, theres a lovely walk from the paddock to a beautiful lake. We would definitely recommend this place. I had some Lincolnshire plum bread in the village one day i mentioned it to penny, the next day she gave me a loaf of it but refused to take any money for it.

On arrival Andy and Penny greeted us with there 3 dogs and they are so friendly, walking inside the cottage itself. The full cottage is outstanding, you have your own sitting area with a tv, shower room is rather spacious and the bedroom is rather large, the bed itself is rather comfortable and the breakfast was cooked beautifully while taking in the views, we can't thank Andy and Penny enough, was a perfect night away, just what we needed, you will fall in love with this place straight away,

A filling cooked breakfast provided but no cereals, yogurt or fruit at breakfast. Excellent location . Walks on the doorstep. Having own sitting room, entry hall, bathroom and the separate bedroom on upper floor. Friendly host. Lovely extensive views. Location convenient for sight seeing. Excellent pub, Durham Ox in next village for meals and Shakesby's in Horncastle excellent too.

Wasn't any shower gel or shampoo in bathroom (just anti- bacterial hand gel on sink) but Penny soon provided some after asking. Several choices of tea bags provided but no Decaf. coffee there- we had some of our own so didn't ask whilst there. A choice of how you would like your egg cooked for breakfast e.g. poached or scrambled would be good.

The bed was big and comfy. It was very quiet and there was an amazing view. It was good to have somewhere to sit in the evening and watch tv. Breakfast was well cooked with nice bread.

It wasn't clear that the loo was downstairs. We were ok but it might be difficult for some people. The breakfast was fine - cooked and toast, but there was no choice and no cereal. It sounds fussy, but the sheets smelt strongly of fabric conditioner and made my nose itch. Fresh air is best!

The location was great, beautiful views. The cottage was warm, comfy and very clean. The breakfast was absolutely beautiful. It was great to have a large garden and paddock to walk our pup in and bonus that it linked onto a lovely bridleway so we could go further.

There was nothing we didn't like, however it would have been nice to have a small kitchen area to prepare our own food, we only stayed 1 night so wasn't an issue but if we'd stayed longer it would have been nice to have the option. Also, it would have been nice to have WiFi so I could work and we could stream something to watch as we had no DVDs to watch.

Lovely cottage in a beautiful setting. Thoughtful extras such as range of herbal teas. Perfect for dogs- the paddock and nearby fields meant that there were plenty of places to walk. The breakfast was delicious.

There was no wifi but we didn’t mind as there was good phone signal and we had brought books to read!

Lovely location in pretty hamlet yet close to amenities. Fabulous host, very welcoming and on hand to answer any queries. Split level with king size bedroom upstairs and lounge area downstairs gave additional space not often found in a b and b. Very dog friendly with bridleway and walks from the doorstep.

Nothing.

Penny was a great communicator, quickly answering any questions before we arrived and really helpful when we did. The property is lovely, everything had been thought of and it was immaculately clean. The location is stunning and the short walk from the garden to the lake, through wildflowers beautiful.
