Absolutely perfect for a trip to Market Rasen races. Outside courtyard rooms all individually named "Red Rum" "Frankel" "Best Mate" "Arkle" " Nijinsky"

The only slight negative was that we were not given any extra milk for our tea/coffee as we stayed for 2 nights . So we bought our own from the local coop . Owners didn't introduce themselves, just pointed out an emergency number if we needed anything. It totally suited us as we preferred to be left to our own devices but I could imagine it may not suit others. Lovely clean room and power shower. Great location. Highly recommended.

Easy stress free access to the room on check-in and easy check out. For me, the best part of the stay was the shower excellent. Will be recommending to friends who visit the area. Price was excellent really happy and have this accommodation saved in my list.

The only downside for me was a personal thing for me. I didn't find the mattress comfortable. I would like to say I suffer from nerve damage in my spine so again this is a personal thing for me and other people may find the beds comfortable.

Son + Mum visiting from Reading Berks to old friend/godmother in Nursing home. As overnight stay The Olive was ideal. Comfortable beds = good nights rest after 4 hour drive. Impressed with cleanliness of the room. My son took a video of No 3 to show Dad who stayed at Home in Berkshire

Brought own simple breakfast to supplement the tea/coffee provision. Provision of a modified continental style breakfast would encourage future bookings. The addition of a draw curtain in the open access shower area would help prevent water splashing everywhere when having a shower. A fault with the shower unit was reported before leaving the property

This was ideal for us as a couple. we were going to the racing so we booked here and we were glad we did. It was walkable in to town. the rooms are at the back of the Olive Restaurant so quiet as behind the main road. they are a small number of rooms added to the building at the back. The rooms are not huge but they have everything you need. absolutely immaculate and clearly cared for and maintained by the owner and it’s shows. The bathroom had a great wet room shower and I really liked it. The decor is modern and the bed although a standard double was comfortable and clean. Water and tea and coffee was provided and a tv in the wall. I’d stay here again. it’s a few minutes at most walk in to town where we enjoyed a meal the night before the racing. it’s good as it’s not in the middle of town so benefits from a quieter part but it’s nearby everything too.

It’s hard to think of anything. The car park is small so if people are having a meal in the evening and you come back late you might not get a space. that’s all I can think of as I really liked it. it was very warm weather but the host had a good fan on the wall and a free standing one as a solution.

It did what it said on the tin. Everything was just was we wanted it. No fancy frills, bells or whistles. Clean and tidy. Everything was ground level and secure parking for the motorcycles.

Could have has a window that opened. As it was we left the door ajar on the chain. Some sort of breakfast in the morning would`ve been welcome, but that`s nit-picking. For the price it did what me and my son wanted.

Have stayed at the Olive before, so new what to expect.Good that you can park your car outside room

There isn’t a window you can open for fresh air and breakfast isn’t included. Also a comfy chair to sit would be nice. The TV is much too small. Couldn’t read the writing on screen.

I was collecting the keys for my 'new' home in Market Rasen, my home being in an old house and had been empty for 2 years, however i was very excited and in a bit of rush to check in get the keys for my home and start work on making it habitable, I needed a cosy base to come back to, have a good shower, watch TV and enjoy a well earned takeaway, basically the quick speed of check in was really appreciated, good parking, local for town, cosy and adequate accomodation, lots within walking distance and a great base to explore the lovely area.

Honestly, it was perfect for me, comfy bed, wonderful shower, tea coffee, TV, felt safe, good secure base for a few days, good price.

location brilliant very central was no breakfast included

no breakfast was downside thought should have been included in price also we arrived back at just gone 10 at night and doors all closed thought was unusual for a saturday night pub and drinks shut else we would have returned in there for another drink only seemed interested if you were eating with them people were still in there but doors locked so early for a saturday evening so shame as sure they could have more customers tho they dont seem interested shame a little gem of a place

The room had twin beds and was ample size for both of us. The en suite was a good size and accessible for my mother who has mobility issues. The parking was very convenient. Good range of places to eat nearby. Everyone in the area was very friendly.

The information regarding the room number and entry details were sent later in the day during which we were travelling and therefore I did not receive them in time for arrival as I did not have a smart phone or internet access at that point. The messages I did receive earlier in the day (around 10am) were lacking in this information. The TV is a little high on the wall for such a small room and it is difficult to find a comfortable position to view it from.

Whilst small rooms, they were lovely, clean, comfy and quite.went to the races so was ideal, If the bar could re open think it would be excellent, it closed due to being flooded last year, so unfortunate, That's all that could improve it really. The owner Nicole was very friendly and helpful too.Had great time
