very budget friendly. clean, comfortable and ideally located. we didn’t use the communal kitchen/living area, but the facilities were great. We ate at the Venue bar and kitchen using a groupon. The staff were very friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. the food was exceptional and very decent sized portions.

Student dorm type rooms. There is plenty of storage space. Barriered entry,keypads, and locks so it all felt secure. The grounds in which the apartments are set are lovely, clean, well-kept, and verdant. Everything was clean. Communal kitchen area was well equipped - microwave etc. Bed was comfortable. The bathroom was small but clean and practical. More than adequate for a couple of nights' sleep/study. Lots of desk space/plug points(not USB) 15 mins or so drive to town centre. Will definitely stay again.

It was quite noisy - every time a door closed it could be heard, something woke me up at 330am- take earphones! WiFi wasn't explained at arrival so spent the first night without. I struggled to locate reception at night There's no lift.

stayed due to location for Huddersfield university- good location if you drive as easy access to university - room was very clean

if I was to book again I wouldn’t just book the standard room as due to being a lone traveller I didn’t feel comfortable going to the communal area so stayed in my room - no tv (my choice) but had my laptop so thought I would be able to watch tv on that but due to Wi-Fi signal being so poor it didn’t allow me to watch anything as just kept going off. so if your booking a room I would definitely pay the extra to have a tv in your room with some facilities, maybe a kettle.

I travelled up from Portsmouth to the accommodation and couldn’t be happier to what I walked into. The room was MORE than ample, with plenty of space to put my bags and lay out anything I needed. The bathroom was perfectly suited to a single person away for a few days. The room had been cleaned thoroughly before my visit. I only used the kitchen to replenish my water bottle but was more than happy with the facilities. To stay in Huddersfield centre I was looking at £500-£650 where I only paid around £150 for my 4 night in this place. Completely worth it.

We have stayed in several accommodation in and around Huddersfield and this was the best, lt had absolutely everything avaliable for our self catering stay, the reception was very helpful, the accommodation was spotless, large kitchen with all essentials including fridges, freezers, cooker, there was a gym, restaurant and large laundry on site, loved the kitchen with breakfast bar and lounge area, when booking we asked for a ground floor and our request was answered in seconds, good size bedroom and an on suite wet room, lovely peaceful location with lots of walks and free parking,

It could be noisy when the students return! We were the only ones staying on our floor and the doors banged

I stayed in the Airbnb hotel in the Venue. I did not know if a kitchen was nearby to order food or drinks. Above all, there is a kitchen in the individual flat where one can cook whatever one likes.

Well, I would say the direction to one's block was not good enough, because The venue is a prominent place and one could get lost at any time, especially if you are very new. It took me a long time to locate my block on my first day, though a map was given to me. This was not adequately put together. They need to work on it—too much information without directions. Despite student accommodations, the venue was too dry and quiet, so you hardly saw anyone around to ask for directions. However, I would say it might be due to the winter and school holidays as at the time I went there. Apart from this, It was a wonderful experience. Their staff are fantastic and ready to assist at any time. Especially Mr Mark in the reception area.

Very dog friendly and relaxing place to stay. Gym facilities are excellent as well as the bar and restaurant. Good location for woodland walks.

at 4.30pm on Christmas Day, whilst we were relaxing watching a film, two men let themselves into apartment, taking us and the dogs by surprise,. They said they do the same every Christmas Day to check the temperature of the water in the taps. It felt a bit weird and intrusive and if I’d been alone I would have been frightened by it. It would have been better to have been told so that we could have expected their visit. They offered no ID or apology for the intrusion. I reported the incident but heard nothing back.

Beautiful location and £10 in a taxi to the centre of huddersfield. Lovely bar on site, larger £4 a pint (Sam Miguel) which was good value for money. Room basic but exactly what you expect for the money you pay, very clean however and had all of the essentials. Free parking on site and lots of it too!

Struggled to get on the wifi but in fairness we never spoke to the staff about this who no doubt would have helped. Not something controlled by the hotel but due to the apartments being shared some guests are noisy and forget that people are sleeping at 8am when they choose to have a conversation outside your room.

Clean Rooms, Kitchen had everything you needed. very quiet considering the students in surrounding buildings. Exceptional value for money

The smallest niggles that would not stop me coming back or recommending: it would be much better if the lamp was placed next to the bed - I moved it into a closer plug but still had to get out of bed to switch it off. it would also be great if there could be a plug closer to the bed for phones, or some sort of extension. the bathroom doors in the all the occupied flats could use some WD40 as I think we all announced to each other when we were opening and closing the bathroom door
