We really enjoyed the breakfast (we ordered a full English option the evening before), we also enjoyed the atmosphere and having a meal with family on the evening of our stay. A Special thank you goes to the lovely lady who served our breakfast. She had been upset by another, very awkward and rude guest, but still went out of her way to make sure we were well looked after.

It was very noisy in the room we stayed in. Not really the fault of the property, but we think it was other guests. So we didn't get much sleep, unfortunately. It would also have been nice to have a small piece of soap in the ensuite bathroom as opposed to two shower caps (my partner and I have very little hair!)

Location was perfect for our purpose. Lovely rooms and bar area very Friendly bar staff

Shower seal was worn out and old, was hanging down both sides of the bath, would take 2 minutes to replace, also no toilet rolls and soap in the bathroom, unbelievable, and when I asked for some, the staff member didn't even say sorry, just basics really !! Booked it back in June for £79, but the hotel charged me £89, said there was a recent price rise, so not happy about that, and tbh not worth nearly £90 with no full breakfast only cereal n toast..

Location is perfect, quiet, fields and hills on every side, pub is of a good standard with good collection of beers and ciders, food selection was good and breakfast was more than expected and part of the payment. Overall brilliant.

The weather. Wasn’t really a problem as we had no intention of going out anyway. If truckers or fell walkers could work a route out I’m sure it could be a holiday of a lifetime, perfect place to relax after a hard days walking.

The location was perfect for where we needed to be, and the views from the window were lovely. The staff we encountered were friendly and amenable, and the room had everything we needed.

There were a few details which could have been better, i.e. a couple of cleanliness issues (mugs in the room not washed up properly, a little bit of grime in the bathroom) and thin enough walls that we could hear the neighbouring rooms into the night, but these were all fairly minor.

The accommodation was excellent. A good location and nicely presented with flower baskets outside . The staff were excellent of which some were very young and showed a great level of customer service. Jason the owner was great and made sure our stay met all our expectations . Myself and my wife would like to thank all the staff for a great stay with great food and drink. We will definitely be stopping here again. Many Thanks Pete & Kate

just returned home from our stay honestly word carnt say how good this place is Jason & his team made our stay so special. the food is out of this world beautiful food & presentation.we stayed in the suite very spacious something special.carnt wait to return back in July xxx

nothing the place & staff are perfect

The Breakfast was fantastic, very well catered for. The rooms are clean, tidy and well appointed. The evening meal was great with lots of choice.

The only thing I thought that could of been made better was actually the door on the room. I think its being looked at but it seemed a little out of place. Purely an observation more than anything.

More or less everything!

I am gluten free so perhaps the Continental breakfast included in the price could have got round that with gluten free cereal, a gluten free croissant and/or gluten free bread for toast. Saying that though, Jason the "DIRECTOR" put himself out and put together poached eggs on a gluten free bap at no extra cost.

Really comfortable bed. We'll appointed bathroom with great walk in shower but no bath. Attractive restaurant and menu was excellent. Complimentary and simple breakfast was just right to start the day. Nice coffee. Free car park with plenty of spacers.

Had to search for more plug sockets in room.

The host adman’s staff were friendly and very helpful. The building and the rooms

I won’t say I did not like but I would have preferred a wooden floor instead of carpet. It’s easy to clean and carpet gives a a bad smell in hot weather. Bathroom lock had come off so looking into upkeep helps.
