I really liked that it was spacious, clean, great facility location.Me and my son stayed for two days and it was great! The Kitchen staff were amazing!Daljeet Kaur you did your not so easy job well with a lovely smile.Keep the standard up. Their idea of breakfast is amazing even though not varied. Some hotels don’t do hot foods. They had a cereal option which was great for my footballer son who had come to London for trials.

Have stayed in the hotel many times prior to pandemic and a few times since. Hotel was closed during covid, which enabled some upgrade to the hotel. The Reception staff and cleaning team have changed since the pandemic. But they are very nice too! Reception gave me my favourite room. The front of the hotel can be quite noisy at weekends, but this time quite quiet. Look forward to my next trip.

Traditional English breakfast (beans, bacon, toast, eggs) very tasty. Very kind and professional the small Indian lady serving at buffet. Rooms are ok, and all in all 100% honest about being a 2 stars hotel: they do what they promise, good for night stays and then exploring the city. Just I'd like to spend a word more about the reception staff, very polite, accommodating and always smiling, which is the quality I more appreciate in a hotel. Bravo!!

The hairdryer wasn't working and actually about to melt and burning, very dangerous. I noticed that upon check-out so I forgot to mention it. Nothing that couldn't be fixed easily.

We had a really nice stay, the room was big, the beds comfortable, the bathroom was recently renovated to a high standard and the full English breakfast was an added treat.

The neighborhood was a bit scary, especially at night, but we found some really nice restaurants and the Elizabeth line from Ilford station was providing fast access to central London and Heathrow airport. Valentines Park was really nice and soothing for a morning walk.

I had a fantastic stay at the City Best Hotel! The staff was extremely welcoming and went out of their way to make sure I had a comfortable stay. The hotel's location was perfect for exploring the city, with easy access to public transportation and nearby attractions. The breakfast was delicious and offered a great selection of options to start the day. Overall, I found the hotel to be an excellent value for the price and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Location was good, room was excellent, but hotel need to install fans for hot weather as some of the rooms face direct sunshine i hot weather, which make you have to close curtains, so can't enjoy the bright daylight.

Need to pay attention to what need repair in room, the white curtain was torn, and the heavy one is needs replacing as it's outdated, also i think it's time they change cdrpet in room i know it eill be costy but will eorth it in the long run.

Breakfast was good. Staff were very efficient with food and smiling genuinely. Great room on the ground floor, everything worked well.

Room service. Carpet could have been cleaner/ hoovered. Bathroom could have been cleaned better, there was spit dried in, in the sink.Towels on arrival were large and great, but day 2 towels were far too small and shower area/floor and shower door not cleaned properly. There were stains of drinks spilled on the wall next to bed and a few (4) insects on the wall too, A foot mat out of the shower would be great.

This was our second stay at this hotel & although we had a smaller room it was nicely renovated & spotlessly clean. Maria & Sandeep are wonderful helpful reception staff who are so welcoming & friendly. Maria really made our stay with her cheerful greeting & tips for London. This hotel is in a perfect position for exploring London by the Elizabeth Line & is close to a great range of restaurants & shops. Though we are vegetarian there is still plenty for us at the full English breakfast included in the price. The breakfast & cleaning staff did a great job.

The hotel staff were very friendly & welcoming, especially Maria who I believe may be the hotel manager. When we arrived, there were other staff members with Maria behind reception who looked like they were being trained on how to provide good customer service to guests. This gave us a great impression that hotel guest satisfaction is the number one priority. The hotel is in an excellent location for public transport, there are buses nearby and Ilford Rail station on the Elizabeth line is a 5 minute walk. We left the car at the hotel car park (free for guests) and used the TFL Network to travel to Finsbury Park. We thought the hotel was great value for money, especially as the parking was free and breakfast was also included.

The room was quite hot and difficult to cool down due to the hot weather. The hotel would benefit from installing air conditioning units in the rooms.

We absolutely loved our stay at Citybest Hotel - it certainly is! It does not deserve the low rating on Booking.com which are largely from inconsequential complaints. The price is reasonable for the convenience to Central London & the hotel offers free parking. The position is fantastic! Only 5 minutes walk to train, then 25 minutes train to Liverpool Street. A wide range of shops & restaurants in 2 minutes walk including Wetherspoons & a renown Indian vegetarian restaurant. A bit further is a new shopping centre with everything imaginable. The staff are absolutely amazing - so cheerful, helpful & friendly, especially Sandeep & Maria. Maria in particular is such an asset to this hotel as we witnessed her defuse a situation with her calm approach. Our room was so nice & had everything we needed. It was perfectly clean on arrival & redone well during our stay. A free full English breakfast is included & even though we are vegetarian there were plenty of things we could eat. The kitchen staff were hardworking & pleasant, unlike some of the other guests. We highly recommend this hotel & would definitely stay here again.
