That lady (Andrea) at the front desk was an absolute star! She is a credit to this hotel, always smiling.. nothing is too much! The rooms were great! The prices we paid I thought were extremely cheap for what they were. Very comfortable! Like I said before tho... Andrea was so lovely and deserves a pay rise! :-) Everyone in previous reviews saying it was too hot- I found it hot but was provided a fan straight away!! You would think people didn’t know it was summer haha! Great value for money. Thank you Andrea and lucky 8!

Friendly room service that is truly considerate and cleans your room at a later time if it's too early for you. Rooms are spacious enough(for London) and the location is great, Lidl, 1pound store and shopping street just a 5min walk, just around the corner. The bathroom seems to be cleaned every day and also new towels are hung up.

Desk is too small considering that half it the space is used by all the appliances. Mattress beyond worn out, but since the duvet is extra extra large I could just wrap myself into it and had an extra layer which made sleeping comfy.

The rooms were always cleaned daily by exceptional ladies who were polite and friendly. comfy bed , coffee facilities. My room had a few jobs needed doing but once I made front desk aware, they were fixed by the time I got back. My key door was the main issue, went through several cards within first 3 days , the loose handle may have been the issue as all sorted after handle got fixed. Breakfast was standard. The hotel was clean throughout just needs a fresh touch. Excellent location, a few doors down to several restaurants and a walk from other shops/places to eat. 10 min walk from Ilford station. Ladies and night staff very friendly, welcoming and willing to rectify issues. Kitchen staff friendly and helpful.

Lady at front desk when I checked in was rude and abrupt especially when I mentioned about adjoining rooms. Bumped into her during the week, she seemed much better. Little jobs in the room that should been checked ,before I went in. No porridge or cereals offered in breakfast room.

Good breakfast and great location for public transport. Direct access to a washing machine was a great help.

The room stated power point near bed. While technically correct being 12 inches from the foot of the bed makes it very difficult to get around the room- and if my husband had been with me then using his CPAP machine would have been really difficult with an extension cord essential. While there is parking it is very limited.

This is a functional hotel where you get good value for the room if you are looking for somewhere to put your head down for a nights sleep. It is surrounded by restaurants some of which are open till midnight.

Lucky 8 hotel sorted it out fast I stay in many times but this time put off a bit as scared this could happen again but will give them the benefit off the doubt

I first got there and had payed for my room upfront I got reception and got told no room here and there sent me to park hotel which there gave me no choice off anything else I was not happy with the accommodation there gave at the park building work going on where your cars park my car got cermet splats on it where there mixing it and that very loud so I rang make a complaint and soon that day I was moved back to lucky 8 hotel which is such lovely friendly clean and quite to as my parents has to sleep well due to alot medication she on and I myself do to plus I was dj up there so sleep is precious

Lucky 8 hotels loction is superb. Tube station is just 1 min ahead.all the restaurant and daily need shops are nearby. Security is good. Stuff also very cooperative. Breakfast is so yummy. I thik this is a very good hotel.I highly recommend this hotel.

Same type breakfast everyday. We stayed this hotel 13 night so sometimes we board same eating same type breakfast daily. Should be change sometimes.

Clean, Comfortable, great Location close to lots of food restaurants/take aways and very close to Ilford station and Free parking. I’ve stayed here before and would like to stay here again when I next come to visit London.

My room was cleaned once during my stay It would of been brilliant if they cleaned it daily for me but I’m not sure if that is something that I need to mention. I didn’t order breakfast because it was in Pre packed boxes I prefer the previous continental breakfast where you could have it warm in the dining area.

When booking we weren’t looking to spend money, due to parties planned it was just for somewhere to put our head down. On arrival we were surprised with the size of the room, the location was perfect for amenities and travelling. The staff were all super friendly, organised parking and had a 24 hour desk for us coming in late.

My only downfall would be that it was one pillow per person on the bed, we went and purchased two extra from Wilko’s over the road so it wasn’t a massive issue for us.

Location was perfect, free parking was great too. Quiet nights sleep, in a clean comfortable room. Massive thanks to the lady who checked us in too - she was lovely, friendly and very helpful.

The wake up call in the morning, we'd not asked for it and I almost felt like I was being told off. Also the staff when we checked out, they weren't rude but compared to the lady who'd checked us in they weren't very friendly either.
