The location of the hotel can not be better, the rooms are comfortable and spacious, the bathroom was extremely clean and a very good size. The breakfast was fine, but not extraordinary.

The way breakfast seating is organised. You have to point out the exact hour you will have breakfast every single time and people were refused to be seated if they were not arriving for breakfast at the precise time even though there were plenty of free spaces in the breakfast area. You are also assigned a table by the personnel, no free choice where to sit.

Location was great, staff were super nice and welcoming, bed was very comfy and we slept great. Street outside was very noisy, Saturday night but soundproofing was super so you could only hear the loudest screamers faintly - good combo of being able to step out right into the action but also being able to escape the mayhem. Also the other patrons were nice, nobody loud and drunk at late hours (I think the first hotel we've stayed at in Scotland where this was the case). Nice bathroom, very clean. Would definitely stay again.

Minimal complaints. Seagulls weren't kind to the windows, UK prices high in general (although this seemed like good value compared to others in Inverness at that time).

Location was very good. staff were pleasant.

Toilets did not flush well. We had to stand there and hold the toilet handle down for almost a minute before the toilet bowl emptied of even just a little toilet paper. The nightstands were not big enough for the large lamps and large phone the hotel had on them. Consequently, there was no room for our things - phone, wallet, keys, etc. The design of the hotel floors is terrible. Blind hallways, weird placement of doors. Also, our room had an electrical problem, such that we had no functioning lights by the bed and nightstand. We were offered a change of rooms, but how inconvenient for us.

Hotel is nice and modern, really nice room, comfortable bed, really nice en-suite bathroom, hotel in great location and had a view of River Ness from our hotel room.

Everything was good apart from the service at Breakfast, staff were running around, buffet wasn’t replenished quick enough, no bread for making toast, so took them time to get everything replenished we went down at 9 am for breakfast, but on the plus side the breakfast food was nice and good quality.

The rooms were exceptional, clean and spacious. The lights and temperature can be adjusted to your liking. There is even a working fridge and hair dryer. The bed (double bed) was super comfortable and the sheets and pillows were soft and clean. The staff was very kind and helpful. I felt very relaxed and happy after my stay. Everything is very easy to reach by foot. The train and bus station are very close (about 3-5 min. by foot) and restaurants, bars, stores etc are just around the corner.

The cards are made out of some sort of wood. I do not know the exact type but due to the material they are made off, they tend to bend very easily. Apart from that there was nothing else I disliked.

It was a very nice room, with a great shower and extremely comfortable beds. the breakfast was terrific, particularly one of the waiters who was so much fun.

We booked a room with two twins and another with one king, and then confirmed in advance a day before, but still when we arrived, they didn’t have the information and they said that they only had two rooms with king beds. So we had to go into a strange accessible room ( no chairs, open shower). My complaint here is just that whatever pre-booking messages were made, they didn’t reach the hotel. Also, location while central seemed a bit dodgy. It was surrounded by bars (though these weren’t noisy at night) but there was some kind of police raid when we returned from dinner, with all these drunks getting rounded up by the police. not the hotel’s fault of course.

it was centrally located and easy to walk to various areas.

it was clean and the staff treated us like family. Ann at the front was fantastic!

Modern hotel, lovely breakfast and perfect location in the middle of the city center.

Temp in the room was set at 19 degrees and we couldnt adjust it. We found this too warm and uncomfortable to sleep in although i appreciate this is an individual preference. Also we couldnt work out the light system in the room. There was a main switch on the wall which had to be on to work the toilet & bed side lights. This is fine during the day but terrible at night, when you try to go to the toilet in the dark. Also I prefer pitch black when i sleep so if your keep the main switch on so you cant see in the bathroom at night, the wardrop light remains on all the time. These are only minor complaints as they wouldnt stop me staying here again in the future

I thought the food was delicious and there was a good variety. The staff were excellent and covered an extra request I asked for (fizzy juice instead of the apple and orange juice) for my son.

The layout could have been better, it was spread out over a few locations in the restaurant, so was hard to find cups, toast, water. You had to hunt for it or ask, when I asked I was looked after, just would have preferred not to have to ask,

The River Ness Hotel in Inverness turned out to be our favorite hotel on our 3 week trip throughout the UK. The location in downtown is perfect and the cost made it excellent value. The staff members were personally invested in ensuring guests had everything necessary for a good stay. Breakfast was organized and well stocked. The staff worked as a team to make sure coffee and tea was served promptly. The room was a delight —good sized, very good bed, great shower and bath area, good towels, a/c, lovely windows with shades for privacy and light blackout. and the room was spotless. I highly recommend this hotel to any traveler.
