Just returned from a wonderful visit to Strathallan B&B. I cannot praise this B&B enough. Jo and Kieron are wonderful hosts and make a super team. The standard of accommodation is excellent - rooms are spotlessly clean, they have everything you need, the bed was super comfortable. What makes the unique selling point of this B&B is the lovely warm and friendly atmosphere created by Jo and Kieron. Super attentive, welcoming, friendly hosts. And Myrtle made my stay extra special! Thank you for a great stay - I will be back!
If you’re a light sleeper, you may want to pack earplugs in case your room faces the trafficked road.

What a wonderful cozy place in the heart of Inverness! The guesthouse is located in a quiet neighbourhood, just a short walk from downtown and the beautiful river walk. The room was spotless clean and very comfortable. Delicious hot breakfast is served in a cozy dining room by the hosts. I can’t say enough good words about the hosts Jo and Kieron who were absolutely fantastic, very kind and welcoming. I had to leave super early one day and Jo went out of her way to still serve me hot breakfast outside the regular hours. Thank you, Jo and Kieron, for your wonderful hospitality!

I really enjoyed my say in this bed and breakfast. The location is perfect, close to the city center. My room was really cozy, clean and quiet. My bed was comfortable. There was a kettle, tea and biscuits available. The breakfast is really good (traditional english breakfast with eggs, bacon, sausages and one morning I had salmon and scrambled eggs). The hosts Kieron and Jo (and their dog Myrtle) were really kind and I enjoyed our chats in the morning. I highly recommend this B&B and I ever come back to Inverness I will definetely stay here again !

The walk to the property from the train station is beautiful, with wide views of the city. Very accessible! The staff is both attentive and generous, and the breakfasts were absolutely superb each day (with plenty of options for dietary restrictions). The dog is a happy bonus, too. :)
One of the hosts was ill during my stay, which was only a bother because they were still involved in managing the property, going in and out of guest rooms, etc. In light of COVID, I would have been a bit more comfortable without so much interaction.

Breakfast was superb. The food was to my vegetarian requirements. Nothing was to much trouble. Jo and Kieron were the perfect hosts and made me feel more than welcome. Having missed my connection home, Jo booked me in for an extra night and prepared my room at very short notice. Kieron was very knowledgeable about the surrounding area and beyond and was more than happy to help in any way possible. Without a doubt Jo and Kieron are prepared to go the extra mile to assist all their guests. I count myself very lucky to have found such wonderful hosts.
Everything was perfect for my needs.

All around an amazing stay here. Kieran and Jo do their best to ensure that the stay there is as comfortable as possible, and it's just like being at home. And with the dog Myrtle too, who is always happy to greet visitors. The breakfast is really great, especially the salmon and eggs. All facilities including shower are good. The location is good, just a short walk from the river Ness and the train station, and there are grocery stores nearby if necessary. The area is quiet despite being located next to a rather busy road. Would recommend this Bed and Breakfast to anyone visiting Inverness and the Highlands.
Nothing to not like.

We loved our time in the Strathallan. Jo and Kieron are lovely hosts. They made sure we had an entirely perfect stay in Inverness. A permission to leave the car in front of the B&B, a clean, quiet and cosy Bedroom (we were 4 friends and we had enough space for all of us plus our luggage) and a lot of hints where you get a good dinner or beer. Jo offered me some ice after my running in Inverness and Kieron spent some time to have a little chat while we had our breakfast, which was really tasty, too. It was a little bit like visiting family. We felt really comfortable and we enjoyed our time. Their warm hospitality will keep in our minds. I strongly recommend the Strathallan. Kind regards to Jo and Kieron. Oh, and of course Myrtle, their elderly Labrador-Lady :)
Nothing to say, it was perfect! Jo and Kieron asked at each occasion, if we would need anything. But to be honest, there wasn't anything which we have missed.

The Strathallan was conveniently located in Inverness. The hosts were wonderful and gave us many good tips for our journey. The breakfast was substantial, cooked to order, and delicious. We had booked a tour with them also. Our host was able to accommodate my request to visit particular sites that are not commonly requested. Our host personally escorted us to all the sites I wanted to see. He was informative, pleasantly conversational, and very pleasant company. We will definitely stay at the Strathallan when we return to Inverness!
Nothing. Our visit to Inverness exceeded all of our expectations. I would highly recommend booking a tour with Strathallan rather than going with any of the larger tour companies. We had a personalized private tour that allowed us to enjoy the sites at our leisure.

We liked everything. The location was optimal as it was located just two blocks from the suspension bridge to Old Town Inverness. And a couple of blocks beyond are the bus and train stations. The bus station is the departure point for most tours to the surrounding areas, so the location is ideal. A bonus was that breakfast was included in the room price. Kieron's breakfasts are chef-quality and plentiful. Cereals, juice, fruit, toast, and coffee are provided every morning, AND your choice of a specialty breakfast, such as smoked salmon and eggs, or eggs and tomatoes/mushrooms, or pancakes. We left the home every morning knowing we wouldn't have to worry about consuming another meal until mid-afternoon. But that's not all, folks. There's Jo, whose sense of humor, snappy and witty banter gave us a sense of meeting an old friend. And Myrtle the black lab is just as friendly and loveable in her desire to find something, anything, to fetch for you! Upon check-out, they were nice enough to let us store our luggage until our bus left later in the afternoon. A nice surprise is that we stayed in the large room designated for families, so the extra space was quite lovely for just two people.
