My wife and I are mature cyclists. We travelled around Norfolk using two Sustrans routes. We stopped at five different hotels about 45 miles apart. Each hotel traditionally catered for other markets. All the staff we met on tour were friendly and helpful and all were clean. The Knights Hill Hotel was busy as a wedding venue when we arrived and the staff were very busy so perhaps we felt a little underwhelmed with the reception. The evening meal was one of the best on tour.
This hotel is in brilliant grounds. Part of it appears to beset aside for biodiversity though I am not sure it is being managed effectively. It could be a brilliant additional resource to compensate for its large carbon footprint.

A great location, a lovely place for a rest and relaxation. All hotel staff were fantastic, great breakfast, ate in the pub on site and food was very tasty, room was a large size, bed comfortable but was a little tired looking, but not a problem.
Staff in the pool area were short of people skills, no welcome just “ Are you swimming’, had to ask for a towel, pool area is limited, only a couple of tables and chairs, if you don’t get them, your property goes on the floor. No jacuzzi working but was not told by desk staff, just had a cone placed at the entrance. Mens changing rooms are dated but clean

Beautiful Hotel and very clean. Bedrooms were lovely
When we checked out, the reception was bordering on rudeness with a comment I thought I had paid for breakfast genuinely, which it turned out I didn't. Attitude was simply: You haven't and it was the attitude trying to embarrassing me in front of everyone For this reason, I unfortunately wouldn't stay again It was expensive for what it was, in all honesty. Exceeded well over £200 for one-night.

Our executive room on the ground floor was spacious and had sofa and chairs on which to put items. The bed was large and comfortable. Access to a private patio area with table and chairs. The leisure complex was an excellent added bonus. Breakfasts were very good. The staff were excellent.
On the morning that we left, I found a fingernail near the bed- not one of ours! The evening meals in the restaurant were generally very good, but best to avoid the Thai curry which was poor. The confit duck and roast pork were excellent.

We were in the area to visit Sandringham for the Coronation and booked a night stop-over at this hotel. The staff are all really friendly and helpful and go out of their way to make your stay an enjoyable experience. Our twin bedroom had tea and coffee making facilities with plenty of teabags, sugar and coffee provided. It was really clean with comfortable beds and we had a good nights sleep. There was a good variety of choices for breakfast, both hot and cold items served in a really nice dining room. The ladies who served the breakfasts were quick to bring items to our table and were so friendly. We would certainly use this hotel again on a return visit to Norfolk.

Lovely room, didn't feel too much like a hotel room. Nice view of the garden from our balcony. The spa wasn't too bad. Staff were friendly
Overpriced, staff up selling... Spa and pool area are a little smaller than expected and a bit tired looking. The location is next to a round about, which isn't too bad, but doesn't feel much like a retreat. The pub next door was nice enough, although the food was overpriced and of poor quality. I.e. the chips were frozen oven chips and the "baked" potato was microwaved.

The staff in the Hotel were excellent. Extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was fantastic and worth what we paid.
The room was very hot and although there was a fan in the wardrobe, it was broken. We had our evening meal in the adjacent pub/ restaurant and the staff member who took our booking there was miserable and clearly didn't want to be there. During the meal, I wanted the vegan option but chips instead of new potatoes, only to be told that the chips were fried in the same oil as meat products, which shows their "chef" has a lot to learn. Thus was the only real sour note to the weekend.

The property was located not far from where we were going. The staff were really lovely as I had booked two rooms by mistake. Despite being there for a sad occasion, staying at the hotel was really comforting. I will recommend anyone family and friends to stay there. The pool looked so inviting and the breakfast was delicious and it came on a hot plate 🥰
The outside was clean, lots of parking. our room was beautiful and I really loved the bathroom it was super clean and fresh smelling. The water was hot just as I like it, with nice soft clean towels.

Most comfy bed ever!!! Bath huge - with plenty of hot water. good quality biscuits. Room a little dated but spotlessly clean - housekeeping perfect. perfect location for QE Hospital event Evening meal in restaurant part of the farmers exceptional.
bar and restaurant not open on the friday. had to order drinks at the bar. delivered quickly, but available space felt quite restricted. told this wasnt open on saturday either - but it appeared to be. Ate in bar of Farmers and bar food acceptable rather than excellent like the previous night. restaurant looked lovely so disappointed i didnt get to eat there. wouldnt expect a hotel restaurant to be unavailable for a function across a whole weekend - and not told on booking.

The hotel is in a very quiet place with swimming pool, spa and gym which makes it an ideal place for a short retreat. The area is very quiet, far from city noise and it has an excellent places to try best food. The breakfast room is a very bright spacious room which is part of Brasserie. The Brasserie offers a range of fine foods. Despite the fact that the hotel is located on the outskirts of King’s Lynn, it has a local pub and another restaurant too. This gives you more options for food and drinks. The staff in breakfast room were very helpful and efficient. The hotel has a wonderful reception where you will be welcomed by a team of professionals. We decided to travel on local transport and enjoy our time which was real fun. If someone decides to stay in this hotel and explore more, it would be better to drive. King’s Lynn is a small town where, I assume, most of the people own a car. Hence, it is difficult to find the bus stops. Bus stands do not provide much information on the destinations of these buses and no timetable is provided. Most of the bus stops (that we saw) do not even provide the bus number, which is pretty unusual for UK. The area has some important and historic places including, but not limited to, royal palace. It is a very green area which makes even a short stay very enjoyable and fun. I do recommend this spot for anyone who wants to enjoy a good food, quiet place, and a really nice room for a quiet sleep. There is more to say but a couple of words can easily summarise our experience during this visit: professionalism, excellence and a wonderful location.
1. Despite the fact that not many people will come to this hotel on public transport, it would be ideal to mark bus stops closer to the hotel. Currently there is none available and one should walk for about 10 minutes or more if you decide to take public transport.
