Slightly outside the centre, but fine if travelling by car (as we were). I didn't check how good the bus service would be otherwise. Second floor room, accessed by fairly steep stairs. But beautifully cool and airy (on an unpleasantly hot couple of days). We booked a twin room and received a large room containing a double and two single beds, small desk and comfortable sofa. Walk-in cupboard, and bathroom with real decent-sized BATH (which was a real bonus). Very welcoming proprietress, and several services that weren't advertised (which shows real generosity, by comparison with places that give you exactly what the website said and not a sugar sachet more). Solid soap for each of us (some places now just provide liquid). We were offered a decent jug of milk to accompany the room's tea-making equipment, The breakfast was the biggest I've ever been offered - and preceded by a massive bowl of fresh fruit, selected with real imagination. My companion asked for blueberries, and on the second morning they didn't have any so they actually went to buy some while we waited! If I stay in King's Lynn again this will definitely be my first choice.
Hard to find anything to have reservations about. Would have been good to have bedside lamps. And tomato juice needs Worcester sauce.

The people that run this place are really friendly, and will try to make sure your stay is as well as can be. For breakfast you can have a full English, cereal or fruits - which is great. I was there for a wedding in another area and they offered to make me sandwiches for the day, which I stupidly declined. On the day I left they gave me a fruit bowl to snack on for my travel back home. Lovely people, amazing building.
It's a bit off the beaten track for most compared to some other places in Kings Lynn.

A magnificent old house located in a very pleasant area on the outskirts of Kings Lynn. The owner was very attentive & friendly. The accommodation was superb, consisting a separate lounge area, a large bedroom & en-suite bathroom. The bed was large & comfortable. The choice & quality of breakfast was great. Should you wish there is a lovely village pub within a 10 minute walk.
Nothing to dislike.

What wonderful hosts! Jane went out of her way to make dinner for us and our son, whom wasn’t even staying there, she is a lovely and warm lady who made us feel very welcome. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner which was lovingly prepared and cooked and she was up again very early in the morning to make breakfast, which was a full English and pancakes along with delicious fresh fruit which was made for our son who is living and working nearby. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the hotel is extremely clean and fascinating throughout! Thoroughly recommend staying here!! Enjoyed our chats with Taz also. Thank you 🙏

The Grange Hotel is a lovely Edwardian period property, it has loads of period features and plenty of character. It is set in lovely grounds and you can sit out the front in the evening if you wish without the constant flow of traffic coming past. Staff are very helpful they tended to everything we needed including extra water milk crisps. The owners take the time to chat and ask about your day and have a knowledge of the area if you’re wondering or stuck for something to do. The property and the rooms have everything you need, but it’s not fresh or modern. That said it feels very homely and for me is a sort of place that I like to stay you feel very comfortable very at ease and you’re not afraid to wander around and sit on furniture. When enter the building from the front door you walk into large wood panelled reception area, with a large staircase leading to a minstrels Gallery, the place is absolutely fantastic. I would not hesitate to recommend and I will definitely be staying again next time we are in that area. there’s nothing not like about this hotel. Yes if you wanted to be picky you could find the odd cobweb in the corner but everything to do with this property is period and this is all part of enjoying your stay. Food is great company is great the owners are lovely well done both of you and thank you for a fantastic stay.
nothing not to like. For me and my wife this was perfect like stepping back in time.

Owners lovely and so welcoming nothing was to much bother the breakfast was so nice you could have what you wanted amazing. My only criticism is bathroom fittings a bit tired and not a lot of pressure in the shower but there was a bath

Good breakfast with plenty of fruit available. Friendly staff. Nice to be told of the history of the place. There was a street fair going on in town, so we avoided the noise of that by coming to this quiet suburb.
This is being fussy: the bathroom was a bit tired looking.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. They helped getting our luggage to and from our room
The lighting in the coridor outside our room was poor making it difficult to egt the key in the door,
