Very clean, comfortable room. Lovely hosts. Room was large and the bed huge. Great mattress. Breakfast was very tasty and we had a good choice. Very convenient to walk into the village for a pub and supermarket and take aways. Pretty village with plenty to see. The drive into Lincoln was straightforward and easy and a train station is within easy walking of the B&B. The B&B is on the main road into Lincoln, our room was in the front but we didn't hear any excessive road noise. Certainly don't worry about that.

All was as expected and surpassed in many ways.

Breakfast menu, very good. Locally sourced produce , beautifully cooked. Bedroom well furnished,appointed and very clean. Bed ,huge and exceptionally comfortable. Good, central location, for travel to Lincoln city , via rail or bus. Area of Saxilby, picturesque and enjoyable,in itself. Hosts are both very obliging and amiable. Enjoyed our stay.

Check in a little late ,at 4pm ,whilst check out somewhat early at 10am. Breakfast also early at 7am till 9 am. An earlier time for check in and later for check out,would be more desirable. Also breakfast would benefit from 8am to 10am.

Wow. The property was absolutely super and managed/owned by Louise and Roland who were polite, respectful, and professional. They were very helpful in making our stay as comfortable as possible. The room was fantastic and spotless with all the amenities that you need. The breakfast was excellent. The location is close to a lovely village setting with everything you would need for a holiday or break. We extended our stay by another night because it was so lovely. We would not hesitate to return for another visit.

Reception problems on Smarty (Three Mobile Network) in room during my stay (which is the responsibility of Smarty/Three Mobile), but not a problem with the superb free Wi-Fi provided which more than compensated.

The accommodation is situated on the outskirts of the village of Saxilby and within walking distance of the train into Lincoln. I was greeted by the owners and the room/facilities were good. Well stocked refreshment making facilities within the room were a welcome addition.

There wasn't anything specific that I didn't like. Some of the decor/furnishings were a little dated but the accommodation felt like home.

Accommodation was clean and comfortable, situated within walking distance of public transport to/from Lincoln. Enjoyed the provision of refreshments in the room. Roland and Louise were very welcoming and maintained my room during my stay.

The accommodation is a little tired in places but did not prevent me from enjoying my stay.

Everything was very good. The location was very convenient for our purposes. The room was warm and comfortable with everything that we could want available to us. The breakfasts were excellent - plenty of choice and good quality food (albeit as creatures of habit we tended to have the same every day!) The hosts were welcoming, friendly and very accommodating. Absolutely no complaints and we look forward to a return visit next year. Thank you.

We drove past the B&B before we realised, but this was in the dark so is not really surprising - perhaps you could arrange for a large illuminated arrow in the sky?

Nothing springs to mind at all. The canal view bed and breakfast met my expectations and more

Really enjoyable break - clean comfortable and plenty of space. Not cheap but a great base for exploring Lincoln itself and north Lincolnshire more generally. Breakfast was good and there are takeaways to eat in nearby. Would go back any day.

The owners were friendly and informative The accommodation was comfortable and clean and the breakfasts were really good. The transport into Lincoln was close by.
