The hotel was lovely , well planned out . You felt safe and secure being right in the city centre. The windows were huge and you could see a clear rooftop view from across the city.
I wasn’t sure about the porta potty style shower room as the pumps were noisy. Could do with windows that open as the room was very warm and air on only went down to 18 We mistook the carpark on the way as the q park had the £9 hotel parking sign outside which were were told about on our booking. We mistook this carpark as the one we needed but it was the one just after. £9 parking for the weekend turned into £50. Silly mistake to make on our behalf but we were caught out by the sign outside. Wonder how many more people have done the same. Maybe staff could check with people booking in that they are in the right car park to give people the chance to move their car and not get stung unexpectedly. That was all our fault not the hotels. couldn’t recommend the hotel and staff more highly

Very nice and central hotel plus welcoming reception staff. The rooms are small but clean and well equipped. TV is good and bathroom very user friendly. Another very nice touch is the complementary tea/coffee available day and night! We will definitely revisit in the near future...
Very little to criticise! It would have been very convenient if there had been a continental breakfast option available. Three of our party only have a coffee/croissant breakfast as normal and so the price tag was simply too high for us to justify during our four day visit.

Friendliness of staff on arrival and throughout the stay, room decoration, facilities of room, hotel is very central.
Having paid for breakfast, it was not a cooked buffet breakfast - possibly my own mis-understanding of website - as I am on a keto diet, there was not much to choose from. If you had realised it was continental buffet breakfast options it would have been great as there was wide variety of cereals, fruit, and breads. Also it would be handy if there was a way to heat up croissants rather than have them cold was my partners observation.

Location is excellent with many of Liverpool’s attractions within a short walk, such as Liverpool 1 shopping and the Albert Dock, National museum, Tale Gallery. The parking facility is very conveniently close to the hotel, and cost only £9 when using the voucher provided by Ibis. We stayed 1 night and the parking charge should’ve been £24. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The evening meal we had was very basic, but convenient for us at that time. I would recommend looking elsewhere for food. We booked breakfast which was ok. There was plenty of options available. I would’ve liked some bacon and mushrooms, but the scramble eggs were lovely. Also we appreciated the variety of fruit available. The room was as expected for the price. Clean and tidy. Beds were comfortable. There was some street noise so we weren’t inclined to open the window at night. Had we stayed longer I would have used the air conditioning to cool the room. All in all an excellent stay, and we would book there again.
The lifts didn’t always scan the rooms keys, which made me a little nervous using the lifts. Staff were on hand and helpful when they saw we were waiting a while for lifts doors to open in the ground floor.

This is the second time we have stayed here as a couple its a lovely hotel staff are very helpful and friendly. The rooms are not massive but just enough for the 2 of us very clean and lovely decore and the location is perfect afew minutes walk into the main town and pubs.
only issue we had was our bathroom door didnt really shut unless you really slammed it which we didnt want to do because of disburbing people around us or pulling the door up and pulling hard which i struggled with and didnt want to pull the door off. other than that everything else was lovely.

Stayed here many times because it is very clean, safe, peaceful, good value in the city centre. Staff are very professional and well trained in all departments. It provides a very tasty continental breakfast with a good selection of food and drinks. We had a twin bedroom with a small shower/ensuite room. It was on the 5th floor and was a very quiet room facing an interior courtyard. The beds were so very, very comfy. We slept really well. It is an ideal hotel for a few nights, but not for a long holiday since the rooms are not that big if more than one guest in it.
The hotel really needs a bigger breakfast room. The few tables and chairs that it has are very close together and you feel too close to other guests. At very busy times guests end up also being seated on low seats in the reception area which can be cold with the main entrance door constantly being opened. But it is a very good buffet breakfast!

The staff were friendly and efficient and the bed was comfortable.
The room (205) smelt of sewage from the fitted toilet / shower room.. I have had this same problem before when I stayed at the other Ibis by Liverpool dockside. The taps in the bathroom also have a limited flow capacity and could do with a better water flow. The photographs of the decor of the room on the booking.com website were also misleading. On your web page the rooms looked far plusher. in reality they were decorated in a cheap travel theme (airplanes, airlines, etc).

Location was good for getting to the station by taxi if you have luggage, shops, restaurants and docks, within 10mins walk. Rooms were clean and tidy, kettle etc, TV, comfortable bed, shower room and small cupboard. Coffee and teas available for free in the foyer all day and breakfast was a good selection with scrambled eggs and continental choices to start the day in the dining area at reception. Staff were friendly, knowledgeable and happy to help. Bonus: We found a book about Liverpool in our room which was good; not sure if someone left it there as the other room we booked didn't have one. We would recommend this hotel and book again. Value for money.
Air conditioning did not seem to warm up but we were only there one night. Luckily it was not that cold. Welcome note from room service nice touch but no space left on the note to reply. We wrote a quick thank you note on the back of the welcome note.

I really rate this chain have used a good number of times in recent years and have stayed in two recently - one in Liverpool and one in Manchester - they are exceptionally good value in my opinion when you just need a clean and comfortable bed for the night
Both hotels I stayed in recently - Liverpool and Manchester were very clean - except both bathrooms had a bad smell - giving the u-bends in the shower and sink a good clean and treatment with bleach would sort this. This is the only negative point I have for these otherwise great value hotels

First time stay at The Ibis, perfect location, very handy to everything but far enough away to get a peaceful nights sleep. Spotless and clean throughout the whole place. Breakfast was excellent, exceeded my expectations for a continental breakfast, more than enough choices, something for everybody and so beautifully displayed, plentiful and fresh. Service from the staff was very professional and nothing was too much trouble, but also friendly. Parking couldn't be handier. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, will definitely return.
Only a couple of minor things. Step into the ensuite bathroom, need to remember its there, could be a problem for older people. Not sure if they could make the dining area a little more private, lots of people coming and going while you are dining, front doors opening and shutting.
