We were a hen party so loved the fact we were all able to stay together in the same rooms. The decor was great and gave the whole weekend a luxurious feel. The location was perfect and in stumbling distance (literally) of some great bars.

There was a little confusion about the approval amount needed when we arrived (a mix up between booking.com and the hotel terms) but the team were really good and honoured our the amount on our original confirmation.

We stayed at dixie dean for 3 nights on our visit to Liverpool. Our hotel room was very spacious and clean. We were a bit anxious being liverpool fc supporters but were made to feel very welcome. The hotel staff were very friendly and helped us tremendously when trying to find our way round the town. It is right in the city centre close to train station so was very easy to get to and made it easy to explore the city centre everyday. The breakfast was fab, a great selection with everything available that we would normally eat for breakfast. We had a fantastic stay at dixie dean and would definitely like to stay again. Highly recommend 😊

We enjoyed every part of our stay!

The room was spotless with 2 bathrooms. Fresh smelling with a fabulous air conditioned temperature. The breakfast was superb. Cooked to order with high quality ingredients. Probably one of the best hotel breakfasts ever had.

I had nothing to complain about.

Location , clean, reception staff helpful and pleasant

The bar staff, one in particular was quite rude. We asked for an ice bucket with ice to take to our room and she said they hadn’t got any ice, I was surprised and said really, no ice, she said that’s right, you can go across the road to the Shankly and get some and bring it back to your room here. Then she turned her back on us. The next night the same happened, it was only 10am and again said they had no ice.

The Dixie Dean was a great place to stay. The staff were lovely, very friendly and super helpful. The hotel is in a great location and is walking distance from the centre and car parking. The room was big and spacious, for the 4 of us. I think for 8 people it would have tight mainly due to there only being 1 bathroom.

The lighting in the room was a little dark and would have been nice to have a little fridge in the room. Also, there was a lot of dust on the ceiling near the chandelier which we think was from the extraction/ AC.

Cool interior, very stylish, lovely unusual decor, aircon (needed on hot day), enormous airy room in this listed building. Friendly staff, good room service provided. Great location close to Lime Street station and Empire Theatre.

Couldn’t get the jacuzzi bath to fill enough to use. Used other bath but water tepid and took ages to fill. Tap dripping in our bathroom. Would have preferred one king size bed instead of two smaller beds pushed together. Lift slow to arrive creating queues for the small lift. The bar closed at 10pm on a Friday night!!!!

It is a very nice hotel with luxurious rooms and very polite and helpful staff. Our room was very big and the bed was big and comfy. The decoration was amazing and really unique. There was a jacuzzi in the bathroom and the breakfast was nice with all the essentials. The location was amazing and within a walkable distance from the center, the docks, or the train. We had a really good time.

The room was huge and very tall and that is why it was cold, unfortunately. The water in the shower was really very hot and there was no option to adjust it. Also there was no bin basket in the bedroom.

Location very close to town area handy for shops tourist locations and transport.It is only a short distance away from Lime St Station and although on a fairly busy road there was no noticeable traffic noise.Staff were extremely friendly ,helpful and welcoming. Room very spacious as was bathroom.

No coasters for putting hot cups down.There were some marks on bedding but it appeared clean.Carpet had obviously been cleaned but a lot of dirty marks remained. No actual hanging space in wardrobbey thing .A fair bit of noise came from others entering their rooms.

Staff were very friendly and we're very attentive with regards to my specific needs. Room was lovely, roomy, cosy, car petted with beautiful (very expensive) wallpaper and the bed was super comfy too. Everything was very clean and the assisted bathroom was ideal although the seat wasn't adjustable which made showering awkward but manageable. Ideal location, close to travel hubs and museums/art galleries. Will definitely stay again.

I have mobility issues and found the entrance steps very difficult, especially as it has no railings. There were a few very niggly things involving lighting and electricals but certainly didn't spoil my stay.

Large room and beds. Comfy mattresses too. Very friendly and helpful reception staff. Great location.

Room decor looked a bit dated. Room felt quite dark. Could have been more mirrors, especially in the bathroom above the sink, for example. The single mirror in the bathroom, above the jacuzzi bath, seemed to be unusually positioned. Would have perhaps preferred a walk in shower, rather than a jacuzzi which we felt was a bit of a waste. Not sure we'd ever share a jacuzzi together in a hotel.
