Hotel is in a great location and parking is right underneath. Reception is stunning along with the rooms. Stayed for a girls weekend and would definitely stay again!

Hall ways to the room could do with freshening up and carpets need a good clean

Staff were great & accommodated to what we wanted. Food was excellent and the atmosphere was great.

For the room of 8, I would have liked to see more glasses, toiletries I.e toilet paper, towels etc enough for a big group. There was no bottles of water or anything additional in the room which would have been nice to have. The boards at the back of the bed were peeling & crumbling onto the bed so we had to keep cleaning it. When we checked under the bed there was a piece of glass and an empty crisp packet maybe from the previous party.

Location and hotel is ace. But the hotel is tired in areas and damaged. We had the shankly suite which was massive loved it little things like a broken tap and the plug sockets faulted my phone charger. We were offered another suite but as a upgrade was much smaller and less impressive with less privacy and a bath tucked round a corner. Maintenance wasnt available. We got a good room rate as it was a monday if id paid more it might of bothered me. Staff were lovely and its just missing some tlc and updating. Car parking was great and secure.

Only five minutes walk from Lime Street Station. As Liverpool fc fans love the links to Bill Shankly and the club . An issue with our room was dealt with very efficiently by a lovely lady called Sarah (maintenance team) and a lovely lady on reception with dark hair and glasses whose name I didn’t catch. We had to move rooms to sort it. The room we slept in was lovely in Shankly style. The bed was very comfortable and the room was very quiet.

Foyer very dark, décor resembles Christmas decorations which felt odd in August! Sunday lunch wasn’t very hot and meat was gristly. Drinks advertised on the menu were not available and there was no pudding on the match day event menu although I saw other guests having it.

Recently stayed for my boyfriends 30th and we SO enjoyed our stay at The Shankly Hotel! They surprised him with a dessert up to the room that said happy 30th birthday which was such a lovely extra treat! I couldn't believe the SIZE of the rooms for the price we paid, it was absolutely incredible. We ate breakfast at the hotel 2 days in a row and it was gorgeous, I have a dairy allergy and they were careful to make sure that I was taken care of. As someone with allergies I appreciated the notes on each food to indicate what was GF, V & Ve - so helpful. Hotel was really close to everything too, so great location! Overall, really great experience - will definitely stay here again. Already planning the next trip tbh!

Good location, nice shower

Noisy with people outside the room at all hours, no consideration shown to other guests. I know this is not the hotels fault entirely as some guests are just not considerate but perhaps staff could tell guests to consider other guests when they are going out late and night and returning in the early hours. The hotel thought of putting up a sign saying do not come down for breakfast in pyjama's, also put up a sign saying be considerate to other guests.. Being kept waiting 20 mins for the bill in the restaurant whilst 3 members of staff rushed around a couple who had obviously made a complaint.

The room was absolutely beautiful and the rooftop balcony should be advertised so much more as we stayed here for two nights and didn’t even know to go up and have a look at the view of the city.

I booked a room for me and my boyfriend for his birthday when we arrived we were surprised to see two double beds and a single bed in our room. This wouldn’t have been a problem however the double beds had single mattresses pushed up together and all through the night they were slipping apart, could hardly relax as we would have to stand up again to fix them. The room appeared to be clean but we kept finding confetti from previous stays.

Room - was very spacious and had multiple beds with very big sofas! Very comfy beds and clean sheet and pillow cases. No telephone and no 'do not disturb' sign. Asked for it but still not provided with either of them. Location - was very close to James street station and walking distance to most attractions. In a quieter area of the city. Breakfast - The English breakfast was delicious! Good choice of cereals, overnight oats, and spreads (jams, butter etc.) Staff - were very nice whenever I interacted with them!

Room - Found some long hairs in my bath tub and no toilet brush to clean after myself. No telephone and no 'do not disturb' sign. Asked for it but still not provided with either of them. Breakfast - Continental breakfast could be of better quality: pastries were dry and not fresh, cheese was in cubes but not slices for sandwiches (personal preference), only one type of bread offered, orange juice was empty each time I was present and most annoyingly was having to be served coffee rather than a self-service station (and it wasn't too good).

Location was perfect, very easy to get too and the parking was in the building so great! The entrance is just beautiful! Plenty of opportunities for pictures!

Room was very hot, although they had the cool air it did not make a difference. One handle of a window was broken so couldn’t cool down that way either. Tv channels very poor, couldn’t connect to phone or use YouTube for music so take your own speakers. Also rooms very dark no lights above mirrors so no good for putting your make up on. Again take your own mirror to use by the window for light.

The room was way bigger than I expected, it was more like an apartment. Wonderful location,great reception staff and the lobby area is amazing. The spa bath tub was great and I made full use of it. The large bed was really comfortable, the best nights sleep I have had in a long time,a really quiet hotel. The breakfast was also lovely,plenty to choose from in the way of cereals,fruit,pastries and full English breakfast

The only real dislike I had and its being really picky is the fact that I would've preferred the TV in the bedroom rather than where it,I was in room 110. But that's being ultra picky.
