I loved the hotel location and the staff were absolutely amazing , super friendly and there was always someone waiting to greet at reception. They tagged our luggage as we arrived before check in. It was very clean even the lifts smell fresh and it was literally just a cross over the road to get to Mathew street leading you to the main town. But far enough out you didn't hear music from the night life
Only one plug in the double room so bring an adapter and you have to be pretty comfortable with the person your sharing with as the bathroom is just a glass sliding door with frosted glass so not very noise proof .

Great location, friendly staff. Room smelt a bit like cigarettes.. overall very clean and a bargain for the price. Location is perfect for the bars on Mathew St. Ask for the discount for parking in the Moorfields ncp carpark.. it makes a huge difference! Otherwise, if you have the ncp app, you get 12 hours parking on a Saturday and Sunday for £4.95. otherwise it's £24.95 for 24hrs mon-fri (12am to following 12am is classed as 1 day, if you park at 11pm.. it will charge you 24 hours after midnight).. (discount ticket knocks off £10.95 per day so very helpful!)

Nice clean looking facilities. Lovely helpful staff. Good shower and nice enough room. Bathroom has enough space to put things on the sides. Great that there was a decent hairdryer. Great location.
The room suffered from damp by the windows, and the curtains had mildew at the bottom of them. This was right next to the bed. When you had a shower, the whole wet room floor was soaked afterwards, it didn't stay in the shower area. £7 breakfast was overpriced for 2 slices of toast with 2 small pieces of bacon even with unlimited drink. You normally get a fry up for that. But otherwise a positive experience.

Location was stunning. I've been previously at this hotel so I came back again. I have stayed in a room 719 and I had a view on a Liverbird building, same time as before(which I have asked prior to my arrival) so I was quite happy that they could fulfill my expectations. Reception guy, with a beard and glasses, during the day was very polite and friendly (since I'm working in a hotel, entertainment manager/guest service for a many years, this is very important for me). Most of the staff was very polite, some more than others, but no complaints. I will be back in Liverpool and I will book this hotel for the 3rd time.
This time I had some issues with internet, it was going on and off with connection. Don't know why, didnt bother me too much but this was the only issue.

Stunning view (on one side, though one has to pay extra) towards the Liver Birds. For getting into town Matthew Street is really close and loads of bars and restaurants as well. Tesco's is also near. I didn't want my towels to be changed every day, as that isn't good for the environment, and I had a word at the reception and the boss was understanding. The bed and pillows are really comfy.
Part of the window was dirty on the outside. I like to be able to open windows for fresh air - I prefer that to air conditioning. On the first day it would have been good if the curtains were drawn as the sun made the room quite hot - though the air conditioning cooled the room down nicely. I miss the old free wine and cheese on the first evening. Can't complain though :)

This was the second time I stayed in this hotel, and this time it was for 5 nights. I booked for a standard room with window, it was on 6th floor with a nice view. The staff cleans the room, chages the sheets and towels daily. There is nice cafe at the lobby area, but I've never found time to get something to eat there. The food seems to be good, because there are always some guests sitting there, having a bite or working with their laptops. You can walk anywhere in the city centre. Moorfields train station is just a few minute-walk away, Lime street is 10-15 minutes. There are many touristic attractions around, also the hotel is right next to the business district. So, overall I loved my stay at the Z Hotel.
It's not that important for me, but sometimes the internet connection was slow or lost for a minute or so. On weekends, the prices can get higher than I expected. Other than these, everything was absolutely fine for me.

They were so helpful even before arriving I contacted them as we had got lost, they gave great direction to the car park and hotel. Fantastic location and very good price, literally two minutes walk to the Cavern club, an unexpected surprise. Also fabulous discount at the car park, would definitely use again if visiting Liverpool, already recommended to others. We were going to the Albert docks, again very straightforward, only 20 minute walk.
It was a little cold at night, there was a heater you could plug in, but didn't want child to trip over if got up in night as rooms are compact but everything you need for a weekend trip.

From check-in to check out, I honestly couldn't fault this place. Staff are so friendly and helpful. The rooms are cosy with all you need a few a few nights away. We got a room with a stunning view of the liverbird building. The location is fantastic and very close to the cavern quatre and nightlife that liverpool City has to offer. We paid a small fee for late check-in, which was great. When it came to check out, we were also able to leave our bags until we were ready to leave for the airport later that night. I will absolutely return to this hotel in the near future. Loved it
No faults at all loved this place

Firstly I loved that it has a beautiful ambience and professional and trans 🏳️⚧️friendly customer service reception .I was able to do tour Liverpool with beautiful sceneries such as Albert Docks , the ferries and the Liverpool museum to get to know the culture, music and history of Liverpool .It was worth the experience as locations were within proximity .A definite come back .Amazing staff Amy and David brilliant and the lady upfront reception manager
Just a suggestion for the Reception to be separated from the guests reception as it can be so busy and distracting .
