Spotless clean and great location.

I was very disappointed that you have advertised a pool .That was the main reason we booked this hotel .I traveled from Ireland with my 14 year old daughter but to be told that the pool was only available to children over 16 yrs and there was a fee of £25 to use the spa/pool .I think this should be stated before people book .I had a very disappointed 14 year old .

On arriving, the receptionist made us feel very welcome. She was informative, and at the end of check-in, you get a warm cookie! The reception team were so friendly every time you walked in, they remembered us every time. The building was a mix of new and old, our room was renovated from the old historical building with an amazing staircase outside. Clean room. Great hotel features such as a cigar terrace and old library. Bar area was nice for drinks after a day of exploring. Parking close by and a great location.

The bathroom needed some attention, a little tired in places but easily fixed.

I stayed at this hotel once before. The location was perfect, walking distance to the centre and train station, the docks as well. The staff are always happy, polite, friendly, helpful also always at the end of the phone line in case you needed assistance. I was overwhelmed with my stay from the room itself was amazing, spacious, exceptional. The breakfast choice was really good as there was a lot of choices on show and the there was a chef who would make you omelettes etc to how you wanted them. He was so pleasant and nice as all the staff were. credit to them where credit is due. thank you

Hotel was lovely and clean, staff were lovely. Rooms were a decent size. Very good location, spa was great we both had full body massage

Beds wernt the best good size but not great for comfort ( my opinion I love my own bed) Price of the breakfast is steep its £19.99 for a budget breakfast per person I wouldn't have minded paying this if it was a fry up .. we ended up going elsewhere. I feel the doors in the spa should be soft closing when you are in the relaxation room alls you can hear is door banging petty thing to complain about but it is noticed however I didn't hear anything when in the treatment room .

The hotel is situated in an excellent location in Liverpool city centre, with secure car parking a minute walk away. The car parking is also discounted by the hotel, which was a bonus. The room was excellent, very spacious and clean. The breakfast was great, with plenty of choice and friendly, helpful staff. We really enjoyed our two night break here.

The hot water in our room (for the bath) didn't run as hot as would be expected, but it was still acceptable. We meant to mention this to the staff but it wasn't really much of an issue. The hot water for the shower and basin was fine.

Complimentary water in the rooms would be nice.

Comfortable room, good bed and pillows, a must for me Location was good, near to attractions, yet was nice and quiet Staff that I spoke to were welcoming

To find a few hairs on chair in my room, not mine! Staff were friendly, but could (not all!!!!) reception staff have a bit more knowledge on how to get to places for those doing quick city breaks, I found that some weren't sure of things or surprised that you wanted to walk to them (that is what I am there for) In the fridge, perhaps one sparkling and one still bottle of water only?? The cookie is lovely idea but not for me!

Booked last minute and was so surprised how nice it was. Room really clean and stylish. Large bed was really comfortable, I slept like a log. Shower was lovely and we were lucky enough to get a great room with quite a nice view. Reception staff were great. The location is perfect right in the centre but really quiet. Has a spa but didn't get chance to use it. Restaurant looked lovely.

Only 1 thing, no shower caps so I couldn't enjoy the waterfall shower. Luckily there was a normal shower facing too. I have stayed in quite a few hotels in Liverpool and this is my favourite. So glad I booked it.

The room was spacious and clean. Beautiful deco throughout the hotel. Its a listed building that keeps all the charm of the Corinthian style and all the comforts of the modern days. The staff was very pleasant and obliging. I requested a lower floor room at the time of booking. There was some miscommunication and did not get my prefer choice the first night, but I was moved after this night to a room that accommodated my needs with no hesitation. Also, on arrival our room wasn't ready and after apologising we were offered a complimentary drink in the bar whilst waiting for the room. Bar staff was very bubbly and helpful too. They gave us a lot of tips tha we found very valuable. Very happy overall and have recommended already to friends who are planning a stayed in Liverpool soon.

Nothing, we loved everything about your hotel. If anything, the first night there seemed to be a party on the 3rd floor and was a little noisy, but we were tired and fell asleep very quickly.

Location was excellent for transport and parking facilities, staff were great and the hotel has kept it’s original looks which is lovely

Breakfast was slow, had to wait for food to be brought out. Wasn’t just me who experienced this, spoke to a few more guests who’d been to a wedding the day before who said they’d experienced the same. Bathroom in room 509 was a bit tired looking and inside of bathroom door looked like it either had blood stains or makeup stains on it.
