Delta Hotels by Marriott Liverpool City Centre

The location is perfect, it is right in the center near the central station 15 minutes walk from the docks. The room was clean large and had a comfort sitting place a working table and a good Wifi connection.

The furniture were and room staffing's are old and need renovation. The mattress lost its shape and was uncomfortable. There were no USB ports for charging electronics. The coffee machine included just an electric kettle and very basic instant coffee powder. The bathroom hose was broken and slipped from the strong stream to a weaker stream. The room was very expensive and there was no possibility for a free cancellation.

Location was great, 200 meters from the liverpool lime train station, 100 meters from liverpool "down twon" and ten minutes from the port. The main problem I encountered was that the rooms are a bit old and this affects some things, for example, the air conditioning in the room did not function and it was very hot in the room, although we went to the reception desk several times and they always welcomed us with a nice welcome and a genuine desire to help, they did not succeed, we did not have an air condition And we used the mouse we got as a solution.

The location was great - just a few minutes walk from Lime Street Station. The rooms were comfortable but no double glazing so I was woken a lot by outside noise. The rooms were clean and the staff amazing. They couldn’t have been more friendly or helpful. The breakfasts were fantastic and meant we really didn’t need lunch.

The ground floor bar was pretty uninteresting and as mentioned above the lack of double glazing meant I heard everything going on outside in the street. It would have been helpful to have someone there who could advise on how to get to certain tourist attractions, or where to find city sightseeing tours.

Hotel is located directly across from the railway station and very visible for new travellers. Our room had been refurbished and had all the necessary amenities for an overnight stay. The staff made us feel welcome and always greeted us when we arrived in the hotel lobby. No problems holding our luggage and shopping and recommended locations to visit. Would recommend the hotel to any travellers and would stay again when visiting Liverpool.

The location was to dream for! On the outskirts but in the middle of everything you need. Shopping, eateries, sightseeing and all you could ever wish for in walking distance. I loved the column in the lobby with all of the places to see and their distance.

There was not a lobby or sitting area but the restaurant and bar was sufficient when you wanted to be out of the room. It also did not have a fridge for leftovers.

Spacious room and bathroom. Big fluffy towels. The toiletries were a nice touch. Everything clean. The breakfast had everything anyone could have asked for.

Was there a USB port for charging phones in the bedroom? We found two small sockets that looked like USB ports but they didn’t seem to be connected to anything. So we had to buy a plug to enable us to charge our phones. Not a complaint - just a suggestion - hot milk provided with coffee at breakfast would keep the drink hotter for longer.

I loved everything: the really central location from which I could explore the city on foot, the comfortable and totally quiet room on top floor with good views, great bathroom, all very clean, useful tea making facilities, very good tv screen, everything of high standard, really helpful and friendly proactive staff, and all for a very reasonable price. And really excellent breakfast with all the healthy options I wanted and massive choice, all included. I like these high American standards and it was what I was looking for, having been generally disappointed by the value elsewhere during my trip in England and Scotland. And as a tired traveller I liked the 12.00pm check out so I could take it easy in the morning before setting off on the remaining drive home.

There was absolutely nothing I didn’t like!

Room was large, lovely and clean as always (we have stayed here a couple of times before). Location is central to all the main attractions in Liverpool which is why we chose it, and because we know it will always be a high standard. WiFi good and all the usual up to date TV channels to watch inc Netflix. It was pouring with rain on the second day so we popped to the Everyman Cinema minutes away to see a good film. Albert Dock minutes walk away and for Beatles fans, the Cavern and all the famous sites. We just love Liverpool!

It is an expensive stay but we always opt to have breakfast somewhere local as £17 pp is a bit pricy and we managed to find a super below ground venue which cost £10.25 for both of us (incl. coffee), and it was great!. We parked the car in the Hotels car park and then were advised it was £25 per night, as apposed to the multi-storey around the corner (just feels safer and at the time it was tipping it down), however I think £25 per night is excessive especially when paying £199 per night for the stay, and strangely when we used the hotel parking it the first time we stayed in 2016 there was no charge.

The hotel is literally across the road from Lime Street train station so it was very easy to find and get to. The hotel itself was clean and tidy and the staff welcoming and friendly. We arrived later than planned in boiling hot weather after our train was cancelled, check in was fast and simple. The lovely lady on reception went to get us both glasses of iced water to take to the room with us, she also noticed we had some drinks with us and she brought up an ice bucket to our room which was a nice touch. The room was clean and tidy and the bed really comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

Very friendly and helpful staff at check-in. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable with excellent facilities. The bed was very comfortable and got a good night's sleep. Good bathroom with a good shower. Had iron, ironing board, kettle and tea/coffee facilities in room. Food was good. Excellent location and would stay again.

Very little not to like about this hotel. My only problem was the desk chair was very low, so it was uncomfortable to work at the desk.
