Sounded like room above us were going to come through the roof

The room was super nice. The staff in reception were lovely

The Jacuzzi wasn't that clean. When checking out, they didn't have a trolley for clean towels as we just saw them lying on the floor ready perhaps for the next people to check in which was very unhygienic. Also, the deposit scheme took about a week for it to be refunded.

Room was fantastic, great space. Location of hotel was perfect for us to get the bus to chester zoo. Walking distance to Moorfields station where we get to get a train to aintree for a harvester. 2x tesco very close on either end of the road. All around staff and location perfect

Rooms need to be made soundproof. You can hear everything from the room next door. Our first 2 nights were great. Our 3rd night the people in the next room were chatting loud till gone 2 in the morning even after staff asked them to be more quiet they didn't care. I had to make a bed in the kitchen just so the kids could sleep, which was unacceptable. Music for the local bars was a little loud but wasn't loud enough to stop us sleeping

Convenient location: walking distance to almost everything! The Cavern Club is just around the corner. We also had a jacuzzi in the bedroom which was a treat.

It's a beautifully converted building: an old warehouse that has been converted into a hotel, with some of the warehouse fixtures and beams still on the ceilings and walls, making for a very interesting interior. HOWEVER, because it is a conversion, the noise from the adjacent room isn't completely muffled (despite the hotel's efforts to add a lot of soundproofing). There was a group of women in the next door who sounded like they were in town for a hen do, and the sound from their room travelled into ours a bit, but fortunately they were quiet late at night. Also the placement of the shower in the bathroom is a little odd: there doesn't seem to be a way to take a shower without getting the entire bathroom wet.

Price was good, beds were comfortable. Room was spacious and sofa was huge. View to the nightclubs was fun.

The lift(not a fan of lifts) and the noise levels outside was a lot but understandable. The bath/jacuzzi in the living room/bedroom was very unexpected. Tried it, bath emptied itself even with plug pushed down so I got out. The bathroom with shower in the middle was unusual, not used to that sort of thing. (Bathroom light in weird position and with the bathroom being black you couldn't see anything when stood facing toilet).

The room was welcoming and comfortable it was such a beautiful room and really well made up when we got there the kids settled really well and the tv was perfect for watching family films at night , out of all the hotels we’ve been to, This was probably the best hotel by far The kids also loved this hotel and we did so many days out because it was close to everything that we needed to get to and didn’t have to travel far for anything reception staff were very pleasant and helpful highly recommend this hotel

There was no dislikes it was a lovely welcoming hotel

The hotel superb in the heart of Liverpool corner with Matthew's street. Who love to enjoy the nightlife Boutique 56 is the one to stay in. From the window you could see the pubs and from the room the music was heard but it didn't bother us. If some one wants a quiet room the first floor is definitely not the one. The room is quite big, we were a family of 4, can say 4 adults and were very comfortable. The beds are comfortable too and under the TV there is a big sofa. When we walked in, the room was clean and warm. The central heating was on almost all the time and when it was switched off , we slept better as the room wasn't that much warm. The staff were very helpful and friendly especially Hamsa. He was out of his way to please us with what we have asked for. When we asked for more towels as the cleaning wasn't on a daily basis, we found them in the room free of charge.

The shower I didn't like much as it is in the middle of the room between the basin and the toilet and when someone have a shower will make a mess and every were is wet. After the shower you have to wipe it off as you can't even use the toilet. Also one thing I didn't like that you can't open the window for some fresh air.

Quite quirky, clean, comfortable & ideally located

I was asked to pay £250 security payment which is £150 more than stated in hotel policy. I was told I could be reimbursed this payment on satisfactory condition following our stay. I was told on our leaving day that this would be paid within 5-10 working days. On not receiving this after that time I contacted the hotel to be told that as I’d paid by an internet bank (Starling), I would need to wait for up to 30 days for reimbursement. I checked out of the hotel on the 17th of March & it is now the 14th of April with no correspondence! Personally I think this is exploitation of customers by the bank utilised by the hotel to manage security deposits and not acceptable! Moreover the hotel needs to make it more transparent as to how secure deposits are managed.

Location was amazing we could literally walk to everything we had booked. The hotel is comfortable and friendly vibe hotel bar is nice. Only issues we had was couldn’t do our own heating and room was very cold. Had to call to get this done then it went boiling. Couldn’t seem to win with it. The bath in our room (room 1) water didn’t stay in it seemed the seal had gone bad. It also gushed out everywhere when jacuzzi turned on. Noise from other rooms was quite loud but didn’t bother us too much other people it might bother you can definitely get to know your neighbours. No parking but there is a local place which charged £13 a day. Didn’t eat at hotel. All staff were very friendly.

Bath not working and water wasn’t staying Heating issues room kept going so cold Code for door annoying prefer a key Bin is tiny for a 5 person room

Location was great. Room was surprisingly very clean and a good size! Room smelt clean and was comfortable. Happy stay! Asked for more towels at reception and received them straight away. Staff was very nice and helpful explained the deposit process easy and let us check in 10 minutes early. Would recommended.

A bit more information about check out times when checking in. Very noisy due to the central location however this can't be helped. Would book again but ask for a room further away. (Personal preference) 2 bits of 'confetti' found in the room, which was very hard to see so understand how it was missed!
