generous breakfast with quite a good choice, could do better on cereals. Beautiful room and very attractive and well-appointed bathroom. Friendly staff who didn't mind me coming back at midnight. Ideally placed for getting to the Festival I was attending. Plenty of free car parking.

Perhaps more hanging space for clothes, though there were plenty of drawers. Given hot weather, the choice of sheet instead of duvet would be good.

Mel and Sal were wonderful hosts - nothing was too much trouble. Despite not being fully open until next week, they were able to give us everything we needed, including an extra special welcome tray and takeaway breakfasts (provided very early in the morning and including vegan and gluten-free options). We will definitely recommend The Cottage Inn to our friends and family and we look forward to visiting again in the future.

The staff had advised us on lovely places to see, the breakfast was fabulous, greatly cooked, huge portions prepared from local delicious products. We had a great time and will recommend it to an yone.

Great welcome from Mel who was very accommodating throughout our stay. Bed was super comfy, and shower was great. Cooked breakfast was delicious, and my eggs were cooked to perfection!! There was also a choice of fresh fruit, yoghurt and pastries.

We dined in the restaurant, which was busy and there was a wait for our food. Food was good when it arrived.

Lovely staff made us feel very welcome when we arrived. Our room was clean and tidy and the bed was comfortable. We were the first customers at the newly reopened inn and staff had gone out of their way to accommodate us. The breakfast was delicious especially the freshly baked pastries. We will definitely be visiting again!!

We had a very warm welcome from the owners when we arrived which was nice. The rooms were really clean, comfortable and well stocked. We booked last minute but everything was still ready for our arrival.

It’s not within walking distance to a town/ shops but that’s not an issue with the great pub and restaurant at the Cottage Inn.
