I loved the overall atmosphere of the hotel as well as the location of the hotel, the staff were incredibly friendly and so accommodating and helped with any and all queries that I had, especially in explaining how the public transport and the Oyster Card worked as it was my first time in London, they also helped me find the best route to some sites that I wanted to visit while I was there.

I had advised that I was lactose intolerant on my second day there and needed oat milk provided in the room instead of normal milk, but I was only supplied this on one day and the rest of the time I was supplied with normal milk. It did not cause too much of a problem since I did not really drink coffee too much in the room and would utilise the coffee more at breakfast time in the restaurant.

Great location (nearby bus and metro stops) in a beautiful historical building. The room (we had the Crown room) was clean, comfy and spacious, the staff (both at reception and at breakfast) courteous and friendly, and I really appreciated the free drinks and shortbread cookies that came with the room. also the breakfast was *amazing*. A nice breakfast spread complimented by your choice of 6-7 hot meals.

Minor nitpicks that I honestly didn't care much about but will mention just in case: there wasn't really a view out of the window (kind of just a wall) + because the building is old, the elevator is ancient, tiny and slow (but it does work).

Perfect location in the City of London, very close (walking distance) to the Bank and Monument Tube Station ( Fron The Bank station is easy to get to St.Pancras international railways and to Luton airport) . Rooms were spacious, everything was perfectly clean,, water, soft drinks and coffee available and refilled everyday. The Bathroom perfect with main toiletries. We appreciated the breakfast in the Pub with great London atmosphere. All the staff was very kind and helpful. We booked two rooms and we got two private rooms on the third floor which was really great ( Noble and Helm rooms) . Fully recommed!

everything was great ( little thing to remark: I missed cotton pads in the bathroom but not a big deal. )

Quirky, historic, very comfortable and exceptionally quiet considering it's in the heart of the City of London. As someone who used to work near Leadenhall Market (when it was a market), I loved this hotel - it provoked memories of very many happy times. The management team should be congratulated for a refurbishment that is both modern & fresh but also for retaining many of the original features of a such a charming old building. The bar is beautiful and welcoming.

The full English breakfast was good just a bit luke warm. Didn't stop me enjoying it though!

Good sized room, very comfy bed. Large ensuite, with nice toiletries. We didn't use the coffee maker, but there were a variety of coffee flavours/chocolates. Nice to get complimentary can of lemonade along with the still/fizzy water. Really good breakfast. Location worked for us (5 mins walk to Sky Garden / 15 mins to Tower of London). Staff were friendly, and allowed us to check in early when we asked to leave our bags.

Shame the pub downstairs shuts at 5pm on Sundays, so we were unable to have an evening meal there. (Although we understand this is quite common in London).

Staff were friendly and engaging with our little one and very accommodating. The room was a good size and comfortable with a nice selection of amenities. The location was convenient for our engagements in the City and an easy walk to the Thames. We enjoyed having breakfast in the pub every morning.

Elevator was a little slow and there were a lot of stairs and heavy doors to navigate with a stroller. The A/C unit was positioned over the bed so we had to keep turning it on and off during the night to maintain a good temperature in the room.

Stunning Venue in an old building. Location was perfect for a weekend stay in London with easy access to everything. Breakfast was excellent in the restaurant. Staff were very friendly, professional and helpful

Air Conditioning did not remain operational through the night, and room got very warm. The lift was a little unreliable at times - if doors on upper floors not closed properly. Weren't able to get a coffee in the bar after around 9pm. Not really a complaint - just minor observations that otherwise would have made this stay flawless

The staff is so friendly and accommodating. I was here working for a month and everyone treated me like family and were super helpful. Room was very good and food in the pub was also very good. Overall, an excellent experience!

The lift is either very slow or a bit cranky and had to take the stairs on a regular basis. I really didn't mind and found everything about the place very charming. If you don't like stairs, this may be an issue.

The Staff are so friendly and helpful. The rooms immaculate and you are provided with everything you need. . The beds are very comfortable and the linen is very good quality. The tea and coffee and complementary drinks are high end products. A perfect retreat after a busy day.

The breakfast is lovely but could do with some berries in the fruit selection. There is nothing to dislike and it is our preferred hotel in London. Stayed here many times and will continue to return.

The building is seeped with history, the bar area is truly stunning with a fantastic dome and historical prints and photos. The room was spacious and comfy. Had a full English breakfast in the morning in the bar, was very happy with the quality and view! There is a Sainsburys nearby if you are looking for cheap drinks and snacks. My mum loved hearing about the history of the building and benefited from the lift!

Sadly London prices, pints and food in the bar isn’t cheap but you do get 10% off but still, this isn’t the hotels fault just a shame!!
