The property was only a short walk from hype park and the Natural History Museum which was the reason we picked the hotel. It was easy to find and friendly with our 2 children. We paid £88 for 4 people including breakfast which is an absolute bargain and we were on a tight budget so this suited us very well. The hotel is not the ritz and if you go expecting to get a 5 star hotel for £80 then you will be disappointed. You get what you pay for and we paid for a bed and somewhere to keep our stuff while we walked round the city. We got a double bed and 2 single beds for our children, there was enough room and they love the balcony. Tea and coffee making facilities were provided along with a fridge and sink which is more than expected. Towels and shower facilities are in the room which is good for the price you pay. Breakfast will what you would expect cereal, toast, tea and coffee. It was better than having to walk 2 hungry mardy kids round to find a breakfast spot that suited everyone.

It was warm during the night but a fan was provided and the windows opened.

The hotel was very well located, staff was very friendly and professional. Pricewise, the property offers very good deals to stay and definitely worth to stay there. If I come back to London, I will absolutely book a room at St Mark Hotel.

The room was too warm and it would be nice to have control of the heating system to regulate the temperature inside the room. Also, it would be nice to work on refurbishing the rooms to be soundproof so you do not hear what people say or housekeeping while you are inside the room trying to rest.

Simple hotel, its about the level you would expect for the price, which is perfect for what we wanted. A lot of the reviews make pointless comments about the carpet on the stairs - my parents actually made the opposite and loved the railings haha. Our room had good heating, coffee and tea making facilities, plus a fridge was a nice surprise. Location is down one street from the underground entrance, really easy to get around. Top tip we parked out in North Ealing Station for cheap and rode in. Breakfast was alright as well.

Location was good for catching either bus or tube was only a few minutes walk away as were the shops also the museums were about a 20 walk away. And despite tiredness of the hotel it was clean and the staff were very friendly & helpful. So if your after a cheap basic hotel just to rest while you explore try this one

Someone smoking in the early hours setting off the smoke alarm in which the staff soon sort out and the person was warned and then removed from the building after a repeated offence

Cheap and easy! Anyone expecting Premier in décor or Holiday Inn luxury at their cost per night is delusional. Could the place do with a refresh, yes. With that said, it was clean, staff were friendly and it was very vey cheap for London. I have read other reviews complaining about the breakfast. It wasn't great but it wasn't bad and I reiterate, paying £148 for two nights in central London 3 mins walk to Earl Court underground station is a bargain. Peeps need to stop being so prissy and toughen up. The place was safe and clean, the bed was comfortable. What more do you need?

I admit, the place could have done with a fresh lick of paint and/or new carpets.

Welcoming staff, brilliantly clean throughout hotel and quiet safe area. We booked this stay as we were attending a Gig at Hammersmith, easy to find short walk to Earl’s Court tube station. The room was spacious, very clean and well put together. We were surprised to find extra amenities in the room such as microwave, fridge and fan (which was especially welcome in this current heat wave). Towels very fluffy and extra quality in comparison to other places so that is a win! Breakfast offered a variety of options something for everyone. We Would highly recommend this Hotel for its overall price, location and what it offers.

The location is very good. Near to bus/underground stations. I expected something worst because of the comments, but tbh was very nice. The breakfast was nice. Enough for the morning. My room has a little balcony and the view was nice.

Doesn’t have lift. My bathroom doesn’t have mirror inside, but there was another one outside, which was ok. The bed wasn’t fixed every day, so I guess wasn’t cleaned, but they emptied the toilet bin everyday.

Great location. Enough beds in the room to sleep all family members with enough space. Good shower and toilet en suite. Fridge in room with tea and coffee. Hairdryer and nice towels in the room. Bedding was clean. Lovely view. Fan in the room. Good breakfast facilities. Friendly staff. Very good value for money.

Some flies in the room but we were provided with fly spray when we reported them - no problem after that. Hotel carpet was stained but well hoovered. Hotel a little dated but was clean. Room was on very top floor but we managed it.

It is very decent hotel, polite and friendly service, we stay 2 nights, comfortable to sleep, our room has everything we need including fridge, microwave, safe, plenty of toiletries included. Room was cleaned and changed bedding, breakfast was amazing. Few minutes to walk to underground and 16 minutes to walk from Natural History Museum, shops around if you need to buy food. Meet our expectations especially for the price. Would recommend!
