Mostly the staff. They couldn’t accommodate more, as well as being super friendly and professional. Went above and beyond their job role and couldn’t thank them enough for making our stay so special. We picked the petite room as we didn’t think we needed much space due to not being there much and was happy with the size. Bar, hallway and room was absolutely beautiful, so unique. Very happy with our stay.

The only downside I would say would be the hotel isn’t as big as shown in the pictures. The only rooms that you could go in to was the hall to the rooms, the room itself and the bar. Not exactly what is shown on the pictures. Unsure if this is due to renovations or a permanent thing, but I would suggest updating the pictures regardless to prevent future customers being disappointed. If it is renovations put the pictures back on when completed.

Lovely funky hotel, friendly staff, clean and in a great location. Facilities were great with a Nespresso machine, air-con, robes, comfy bed & pillows, and a great shower. Better than other spots we stayed in London.

Room was pretty small and very little space to get around the bottom of the bed to avoid the TV. We stubbed our toes several times. Lift was from the first floor and sometimes was not working during the day (maybe house keeping related) which was not great with sore feet from exploring London. An extra service charge bill was delivered under the door but found out it was optional.

The location is great! On one end of Kensington High Street right next to the shops and restaurants. The underground station is only about a 5 minute walk. The rooms are very small but for the price in such a main area of London, I wasn't that bothered. It was very clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly.

I didn't like the shower. It was far too small and being one of these rain shower, it was really difficult to try and keep your hair dry if you didn't want to wash it with very little space either side of the water flow. Plus, if you want to shave your legs and keep your hair dry at the same time, good luck. The other thing I didn't;t like was that there was a 'service charge' invoice put under my door on the last morning. I hadn't bought anything from the hotel and I have never seen this before. However the doorman was really nice and when I questioned it, he didn't hesitate to waive it.

The staff could not have been nicer or more attentive. They made it such a pleasure. The location was fantastic. Close to bus and subway service, plus lots of great restaurants/pubs/coffee shops and general shopping. Kensington Gardens was right across the street and it was such a lovely place to hang out and enjoy the surroundings..

The only thing I didn't like was that the elevator did not go to the ground floor. It started on the first floor (second floor for us Americans), and I did not relish climbing the first flight of stairs after a long day of exploring London and Kensington. That said, the staff was more than happy to bring our luggage up and down for us when we checked in and out.

Private self contained suite, high quality finish and comfortable.

Light switches have a light on them to say whether they are on or off (red/blue) but they are glowing all the time which meant they were lighting up the bedroom. I’m a sensitive sleeper so this was disturbing. Plus the smoke detector also had a very bright light on it, directly above the bed. Suggest providing disposable sleep masks for light sensitive guests. Also, one guest was in the living room to sleep, bed was excellent but there were no blinds or curtains! Made for a very early morning wake up.

They put an invoice under our door saying service charge £9.83 when we had booked through Booking.com and all charges were included… when I asked what it was for they said it was an optional charge for staff ‘perks’ … The aircon in the room wouldn’t turn up or off and there was a draft from it right above us No tea and coffee facilities in the room and when we got back to the hotel around 10.30 coffee wasn’t available as they had already turned the machine off 😳

The hotel manager went out of his way to give a personalised experience during our stay. He was very friendly and made the experience memorable. The hotel added a special touch upon check in which I won't mention to spoil the surprise for others. Books/magazines in the room were also a nice touch. Decor throughout the hotel was fun and made it a little unique!

The room was quite small but we probably knew this at the time of booking anyway. A small thing within the stay overall but a couple of the bar staff were less than attentive - they seemed to wait on a family in the bar area really well but forget about us to the point we didn't know if our drinks were coming, and there was a little confusion over a payment.

Stayed here before , has been renovated since with a proper bar downstairs . Quirky decor, great location, helpful staff .

There was a DJ in the bar and the Music was a little too loud and reminiscent of being at a night club , it didn’t create a relaxing place to enjoy a drink, but that might be personal taste. There is no lift to the first floor bedrooms and the stairs are very narrow and if you have a lot of luggage it is very difficult to, and there were lots of staff in the bar , but no one offered to help with the luggage and a service charge is already added to the bill .

Funky, unique style hotel in a superb location, close to Hyde Park and multiple metro stops. The bar is cool and has a fun vibe, although we did not spend much time or eat there. The room had everything we needed and the staff were excellent.

The price, however, this seems to be a London wide issue! The overall value for money for the tiny room did not seem great though, as you can't move around the room well or open your suitcases and the bed was also really small.

Loved the decor. Hotel looked as pictured. Service was great from all of the staff we interacted with. Location was also really central and convenient- only a short walk to the nearest tube stop.

The bathroom was very small, challenging for a large man to move in comfortably. The shower door didn't close properly which was awkward considering the shower was quite tight. There was a mirror in the bathroom but this wasn't above the sink which would have been helpful for shaving. Rooms really were on the small side, even the signature we booked.
