extensive kitchen facilities with lot of cutlery etc enough for everyone, staff very good and cleaned up plates cutlery and pots left over after the night that people didnt clean themselves. staff very friendly and helpful, always there working even at 2am in the morning when kitchen closed. lots of toilet rolls.

lack of soap bars , i brought my own but it went walkies. breakfast should open up earlier than 8am.

Very clean, people in the room considerate young travellers, with no dodgy personalities or weirdness. I stayed only 1 night and had a good night’s sleep and a good shower. Staff at the reception were friendly.

It’s a hostel - you need to sacrifice privacy and own comfort - but as far as hostels go, this is a very good one.

Great location , good facilities, good size kitchen dining room and lounge with large TV screen.

Being a dug out for eating meat by vegans and vegetarians in the kitchen and dining area. Making me feel quite uncomfortable. After cooking my food twice, I then went out to restaurants when I could eat my food without being judged. I have the impression that the vegans were staff members if I'm wrong I apologize. Reading a good book in the living room area by reception. Went to the kitchen to get my food. To find the living Room in darkness curtains drawn and a film on, after staying at this great hostel several times, this time I had the impression that the hostel was being run for the staff. Yet again if I'm wrong I apologize. After that negative rant lol. I've still had a great time and would definitely recommend the hostel to anybody.

The location of the hostel is excellent, it is very much in the high street Kensington and a stones throw away from Royal Albert Hall. We made some last minute plans to attend concerts at RAH since we stayed so close. The place is very safe and not noisy. Hyde park is very near. It is value for money, we ended up extending the stay. The reception is manned 24hrs. The staff are very sweet and helpful.

The dorms have 3 level bunk beds, It was not adequately ventilated. You have to get your padlock or rent one from the reception. There is no lift since it is a very old building, if your rooms and in upper floors good luck to you :P

The place is very well run, it is clean and is in a good location especially if you are going to hyde park or the royal Albert hall. The staff are so lovely and friendly and willing to help where they can. A special shout out Siissi, Raphael, Jeff and Luis who were fantastic and great fun. It was super hot and only a small window so was great there was a fan in the room. Overall pleasant stay.

The stairs...i mean...the biggest problem but what do you do! Pillows need replacing they are terrible. Vending machines need to be fully stocked. I think all female dorms should be a thing here. We were two females sharing with two males and one of them tried to make it uncomfortable. Curtains would definitely help for privacy It made it uncomfortable to get into a deep sleep for sure. I would stay again but book a private room

Of course the location, it was great. The hostel is really central with London's museums and South Kensington not further than a ten minute walk away!

Not so sure about the room size for the amount of beds, but everyone all returned to our room at such different times the room did not seem as crowded as it was... Maybe a small warning or question for those in higher bunks? Not even the youngest of hostel guests can all get maybe so easily to the top!! Hopefully, there was some possibility to choose that while making the booking? And my USB socket took all night to charge my phone.

It was my very first experience of staying in a hostel and i’m really satisfied overall. First all, the staff was absolutely fantastic, really helpful, cheerful and creating a sense of community. Every one of them gets a raise like right now!!! Haha The bathrooms and rooms were cleaned regularly so that was a great thing. The beds and linens were also clean and nice. If i’ll ever need to stay in a hostel in London, i won’t even hesitate

The kitchen and living room were open from 8am to 2am, for someone who works late nights it was a bit inconvenient as i quite often wanted to have a place to work comfortably or get a cup of coffee at 6-7am, so you have to wait till it opens but other than that - amazing!

Having a kitchen to cook and make tea, etc. is great. Also the fridge is very useful. The living room and some performances there by employees was nice. If you are fan if a park and quiet area this is a good choice. Most staff are friendly and nice. But beware you have to walk a lot to get to hotspots, but bus, metro and bikes are really close.

All sofas in the living room are in bad condition, they are not really comfortable. You have to walk around 8-900 meters to reach to the first market, so it is not easy to get a beer or a bread easily. The room in the basement is a bit smelly and almost not ventilated rather than a small window on the roof. The lockers in the room make lots of noise so you may wake up few times when others take stuff from their luggage

Location was out of city but close to hyde park and transportation. Building was good , street was safe . Kitchen and and common area was satisfactory.

I was at knee surgery recovery. So i asked them to save bottom bunk bed if possible. They said they would try at reservation process . I went there and they said sorry. They couldn't make it . I went downstairs . Than i looked my under bed was empty. So I go up again with dragging leg. I told them bottom guest not came yet can i change with him/her. They said sorry it has been already planned. ??? I said all you have to do , you change from system and i ll change name cards by myself. And than he said " aahh ok than." Am i so smart or ???🙂 Anyway i am not patronising but anyone who comes with walking stick or medical operation paper should be reserved bottom bed at reservation process .Just a small idea .

The hostel building is large and spacious, yet the interior decor has a warmth to it that brings comfort. The communal spaces are well laid out with adequate and comfortable seating available in both living and dining areas. The living space has a large projector that is great for watching content and socialising with other guests, a selection of books and piano for the musically inclined. Bathrooms and showers were very clean, as was the kitchen.

The living room space could do with a few more charging ports or at least some tabletop wireless chargers, as none are easily accessible from the seating as of present. The beds did not have curtains, providing little privacy outside of bathrooms. Vending machine was out of order which is unfortunate the few shops within less than 5 mins walk from the hostel (though Kensington High Street is not far atll).
