This has been our "go-to" hotel for the past 10 years anytime we spend more than one night in London. Simply the best hotel in London, and every time we stay, the hotel outperforms our last stay. No other way to describe it other than "Smashing"! A big "well done" to all the staff who made our 40th anniversary celebration truly memorable.

I don't like the fact that we live in the United States, and we have to travel to London to enjoy the hospitality of the Milestone Hotel.

Staff, especially at the charming bar was unbelievably nice and exceptionally responsive and lovely. Very devoted to service .

Had an unfortunate interaction with staff person at the restaurant on the last day. I was scolded for vaping in an empty restaurant and was told that smoking was not allowed even though I wasn't smoking (there is a difference) and wasn't bothering anyone. The individual was officious with a veneer of politeness and decided to lecture about rules even after I told him I would stop - this was 10 minutes before we checked out. He was right by the letter but it was really unnecessary. Kind of soured an otherwise great experience.

Historic, quintessential British hotel. Gorgeous.

It was not handicapped accessible and the staff didn’t seem to understand what accessible meant. I was upgraded to a better room. I’d told the staff I was handicapped right from the beginning in my booking notes. After we unpacked we discovered the toilet was up a large step in the bathroom. Bizarre design. I dealt with it because it was two days but it was a challenge. The closet was also up a large stair.

Staff were attentive and personable. Small bar downstairs was really special and I really enjoyed their signature Old Fashioned. Great location for Albert Hall and Harrods is within walking distance.

The English breakfast was not to my liking, specifically the bright yellow undercooked scrambled 'eggs', even when I asked for them to be redone they did not change shape or colour. In my opinion the food and the menu is more catered to their American guests.

Old fashioned building in the heart of Kensington. Probably the best hotel we have ever stayed in, food superb, atmosphere fantastic and everything a five star establishment should be and more. Fellow guests mostly Americans and Stable Bar was like Cheers with everyone including staff chatty and friendly. Definitely go back and many thanks to lovely doorman, concierge, reception and restaurant staff for going the extra mile at the Milestone Hotel, truly wonderful experience. Though have to say Room 105 plumbing is a bit slow if you opt for a bath! xx

Oh just mention slow plumbing which you would expect in an old building…

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming hotel and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed with my experience. The hotel truly went above and beyond to make me feel welcomed and comfortable throughout my stay. One of the highlights of my stay was the incredibly friendly service provided by most of the employees. They were always happy to assist with any requests I had and made me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. I also appreciated the turn down service in the evenings, which made coming back to my room after a long day even more enjoyable. Additionally, the hotel staff were able to help me with getting speedier internet, which was a huge plus as I needed to get some work done during my stay. I was thrilled with how accommodating and efficient they were in handling this request. The classical, typical British decor was also a wonderful touch that added to the overall charm of the hotel. I especially loved the cute breakfast room, with its cozy fireplace that made for a delightful start to my day. And speaking of fireplaces, the room with the fireplace was a personal favorite of mine - such a cozy and inviting space! Lastly, I can't forget to mention the doorman, who was incredibly attentive and always there to offer assistance with anything I needed. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a warm and welcoming stay in a classic British setting. The service, decor, and attention to detail truly make this hotel a standout choice.

I couldn't help but feel that the rooms were a bit on the small side and somewhat dimly lit. I'm someone who really appreciates a well-ventilated room, so the inability to open the windows for fresh air this was a bit of a disappointment. The sealed windows made the air inside feel a little stuffy Overall, I would still recommend this hotel to others, especially if you value a convenient location and friendly service. While the rooms might not be the biggest or the brightest, they are still clean and comfortable, and the staff are always happy to help with anything you might need.

All food and drinks were excellent. Suite was very comfortable and had everything and more that you could need. Staff amazing as always. Hotel provides a home from home experience.

Unfortunately the suite we had been initially booked into did not meet expectations in terms of size for the price being charged. We were very late arriving on the first night so our first two choices of suite had already been assigned to other guests. Some suites are bigger than others. However, the duty manager the following morning very kindly showed us another much larger suite and moved us at no additional cost for the remainder of our stay.

Another stay here, another incredible experience. Attended a function at the Royal Albert Hall for our anniversary, just a short walk up the street. The hotel management / staff excelled in their care for us knowing it was our anniversary and provided a beautifully decorated bed with petals and chocolates as well as complimentary drinks. The rooms, the service, the quality, the staff are all beyond amazing. And the breakfast... just wow! They will do pretty much anything you could desire! You just can't beat this place if you're visiting the Kensington area. But to be honest, I would stay here wherever I was visiting in London, its that good.

We have stayed here before and believe it to consistent in terms of service and quality. The rooms are comfortable and most importantly clean. The staff are always on hand and the breakfast selection is superb.

Noisy guest using her phone in the breakfast room and not considering other guests. Very noisy and inconsiderate, we do believe the staff should have addressed this and although awkward, discretely the staff could have addressed this.

The hotel has outstanding service - the staff are incredibly attentive. The rooms are very clean and done in a traditional English style, which may not be for everyone. Coffee in the conservatory and breakfasts were a plus, as was room service, which is becoming rarer and rarer. We have been to London many times and appreciate a neighborhood where there are a lot of amenities, but not as many crowds as, for example, Soho or Covent Garden.

The rooms are expensive - it is London.
