The hostel is outside of central London but easy to get to using the underground local train system. Conveniently the hostel is within sight of the train station, literally 5 minutes away.. the train takes about 25 minutes to get there from the centre of London and they run very often.. I found the staff helpful, there is a kitchen but when I arrived it was quite late and it was closed. There is a pub close by if people want a drink. For the price it is excellent value for London and although away from all the usual tourist sights that is not a major problem due to the good public transport.

I liked everything really. I would go back again if travelling to London and staying overnight.

Compared to the other reviews we seem to have been lucky. Staff were lovely and helpful. Our group got upgraded for free to an ensuit which was nice. Make sure you read the information you get sent and bring your £10 cash key deposit. We got this back easily at the end of the trip. It has a good public transport connection.

The price is high compared to other hostels we've stayed in as a group, but it was London on a bank holiday weekend. We've been to better hostels that were cheaper, but all things considered it wasn't a bad place to rest your head between activities.

First of all, amazing staff. Girls in reception was very polite, and did the check-in very fast and smooth, as well as we had a good laugh. Apart from that they did their work professionally. A lot of rooms and great place to stay on a budget, so I would definitely recommend this place if you just need to have few nights for a sleep and thats all. As there are not many other amenities in Hotel/hostel. You get what you pay for, and for the last minute booking, its an amazing option, as well as easy to get to the center by bus or underground.

The lady at the reception with a scarf on the head was really helpful. Luckily I didn't read the reviews. I was in the renovated part, room 209 I think. Female dorm. It couldn't be cleaner. Painting had just been done everywhere. You can check in 24 on 24. This is precious!

Wifi impossible to connect with on my two mobiles. Only on the ground floor. The kitchen was depressive on the third floor because as it is far away from the reception it is messy. The second floor was being refurbish. Restaurant inside the hostel too expensive. Nearly 9 pounds for a breakfast.

Yes this is good place for temporary accommodation in London. Staff were kind, friendly and helpful. It has a nice vibe and atmosphere. I think very reasonable accommodation price for a very expensive city like London. Next time I come to London I will definitely stay here as first choice.

It is well communicated with the city center (22 mins by metro), clean rooms (not "pretty looking" but clean) and it has everything a backpacker needs (including electricity adaptors for 3£, kitchen with oven, they have a service that keeps your belongings in a room and you can ask for them 24/7, nice and friendly staff).

Not very luxurious (expectable from a hostel), shared bathrooms and kitchen with the rest of the flat. The bathrooms and kitchen weren't very clean, and the water in the shower smelt werid.

I'd read a few reviews in the past about this place that were less than flattering, so my expectations weren't all that high to be honest. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find the rooms clean, the beds comfortable enough to get a good night's sleep, the common areas clean, the toilets were clean and functional. All in all, a no frills kind of place, but did what I needed it to do. I stayed during Notting Hill carnival and they had a BBQ going on outside for a couple of nights. Had a great curried goat!

Of minor annoyance was the hand dryer in the toilets not working. The only shower you have access to is in your room. They've painted the doors on the cubicle so you're not actually on show to your room mates when showering, but the shy type might find it slightly awkward! A separate shower room would be a major improvement.

The warm reception by the staff. Very loving people. Respect the needs of the customer. They listened to the customers complaint and urgently attend to. They are so good if not excellent.

The room I was accommodated in. Room 1. It was clean with hot water water. Above all it was good for me, having no steps coz I suffer from backache. Comfort bed indeed. I like the room soon I will come back in the same room

Ladies in reception were nice and friendly also in coffee shop.

I wanted to do some laundry. Ye I know I got quite late and I sort of understand that the staff in the laundry had long difficult day behind him but everything is possible to say in more ways. I don't think he use really correct way. Also the washing machine and dryer are usually not difficult to use. So they could be available to all customers for some extra payment anytime they have time.

The service was 5 star the moment I walked in to the hostel. The receptionist was on the ball very friendly polite and made you feel at ease. The room was very comfortable and had a sink and shower in the room They also had a Portuguese restaurant providing some interesting dishes. On Sunday you have a bbq as well
