Everything from start to finish of our stay was perfect. The room was absolutely to die for, so clean and modern! The communication between the hotel and us before and during our stay was great - especially as we were super cheeky and had two parcels delivered. This wasn't a problem for them and we appreciated this very much! We enjoyed the gluten free pilsner downstairs in the bar next to the fire. We just wish we got the name of the gentlemen that greeted us as we arrived and in the mornings as he couldn't have done more for us. Thankyou! Megan and Chelsea

Gorgeous boutique hotel. The breakfast was delicious and bountiful. The owner and staff were attentive and friendly. Food in the evening was delicious. Bonus tip: there is a little restaurant down the way that is also very good called Small & Beautiful Restaurant in case you are staying long enough to try a different restaurant in the evening.

Great and friendly host, everything new and clean. Close to under/overground station.

Breakfast could be a little "richer", everything else great.

Great room, lots of character and a good size, excellent shower as well. Lovely people who run the pub. Food - breakfast and dinner both excellent. Generally a fantastic place to stay - especially when compared to chain hotels.

Nothing really, 20 mins on Jubilee to get into town but a price worth paying for the good stuff.

The hotel was very clean (one of the cleanest I've stayed in) and the room was beautiful. The breakfast was simple but good. The pub downstairs was very atmospheric. The staff was attentive. There were grocery stores, a subway station, pharmacy etc. within walking distance. There were complementary water bottles available. You couldn't hear a sound from the other rooms.

The Grand Double room was a street-facing room and initially there was a lot of street noise coming in. Especially the beeping of the pedestrian crossing light was annoying. We tried to switch rooms but the hotel was full for Christmas. However, we were pleasantly surprised that in the evening the noise levels went down a lot and the curtains were heavy enough to block the street noise. We ended up sleeping really well. The area was a bit dodgy.

Staff is so nice and ready to solve any possible issue that you may have. Really clean and cozy!! Everything is as described on booking. You are pretty close to the center but far from the center accommodation prices haha. Would certainly recommend!

There is nothing I did not enjoy. The minuses people are highlighting in the reviews are real but are not really minuses because you should already now where you book your stay by reading the unit description LOL. You know from before that there is no elevator and the fact that the breakfast is CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST, not normal breakfast with hot meals.

The property was full of character. Grade II listed building with a history. Room was very large for London and the price. Everything was spotlessly clean and the room looked newly furnished. Our room used to be the kitchen and the cooking range was still in the room, made a beautiful light feature. Bathroom looked mint condition with ‘Ritual’ Toiletries. The continental breakfast was more than enough to start the day. We tried the restaurant one evening and the food was excellent. Bus and trains near by to get you round London.

Can’t think of anything important, TV bracket needed fixing.

Rooms are quiet, comfy, and cleaned daily. High marks to the mattress. Breakfast (included) was tasty and full of variety. High Kilburn Road is a bit outside central London, so you need to take the Underground or bus a short distance to get into the business/historic parts of town. But Kilburn is on the Jubilee Line and on a bus line that goes down Abbey Road (a surprise discovery). There's also aboveground service pretty much all the way to Gatwick.

Kilburn has a plethora of chains and takeouts and a shortage of nice, interesting sit-down places to eat. Interestingly, the Black Lion is one of those places, and you can easily see it's popularity. There's also a very nice Italian place nearby.

Access to room: I was able to get to my room around 9am, which is unheard of anywhere you go! They lend me an adaptor Breakfast: I can't eat gluten and i had let them know beforehand. My first breakfast, they asked my room number and brought me a plate directly to my table with some GF bread. I truly appreciate that they had some on purpose AND that it I was completely separated from the main table where cross contanimation can happen. Room: So pretty! Underground / Train stations not far to get to main places in London.

The street doesn't look safe but like everywhere you travel to, you need to be aware of your surrending and stay alert. Nothing happened to us at night, it was just a feeling.

Clean, comfortable and close to the underground, as well as overground station, this small hotel is run by fantastic staff and can be considered a great value for money, compared to the default London rates (May 2024). Rooms are spacious and well equipped with amenities, while complimentary daily bottled water was a much appreciated bonus. The absolute highlight is the gorgeous (and famous) pub on the ground floor, where we spent most evenings.

The only minor improvement that can be suggested is breakfast, which is too basic even for continental. A few more options would go a long way.
