A lovely old building. Leather settees and large tables in the bar area. Friendly efficient staff with great background music. We stayed here as attending a funeral at West London Crematorium, so very convenient and about a 15 minute walk between the two. We had a family lunch before the service and the food was just right with a selection of small plates and main courses.

The stairs carpets were very grubby but the Capet in our room was much better. We started off in room 1 but couldn’t stay in it as there was a bad smell from the bathroom and the bed was very low with a mattresses way past it’s best, so very uncomfortable. I requested a room change and the staff were great, giving us similar spacious room 4, but with an improved mattress and no smell.

The price for the room is reasanable for london and the location is outside city but within 10 minutes tube you are in the city again. The room is quiet since they use a LOT carpets to isolate. You sometimes feel like walking on cloud. The shower is good. Water is warm. The pillow is very confortable. The crew is very helpful and friendly.

since there is a lot carpet... some corner in the room is dusty. and some part of the shower is come to the age to be renovated i would suggest. The bed can be a little bit harder but that is my personal perference.

This was a very great find in London! The room was very spacious, the good was very good and the staff super friendly. We booked thinking we would use the Kensal green tube but it was out of service the whole time we were there. Thankfully we had plenty of other options to get around with buses that stopped in very very close to the pub. I would definitely recommend for a family of 4.

Even though we were very comfortable, the only small comment I would make is that the mattress could use an update. Even then, we would still book there again :)

There was a very relaxed vibe, staff were so kind and friendly and helpful and very accommodating to the kids and their requests for breakfast. Lovely bar and beer garden and room upstairs is very comfortable. Lovely powerful shower. We ate a few times in the bar and food is good value and tasty for London Very near portobello markets and very accessible to Kensal Green Underground on Bakerloo Line. Would def stay again.Very good value and Lovely continental breakfast included in price.

The staff is SO friendly and helpfully! My room was very tastefully furnished as well the bathroom set up (with stylish white tiles on the walls and gray granite on the floor). The breakfast was delightful and so was lunch too. They have a waste selection, with also veggie alternatives. And the pub has an wonderful historical flair.

There‘s nothing to say, but please concern, the guest house has a lot of stairs, if you‘re handicaped. As of your luggage, don‘t worry, the staff is very helpfully with.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The pub and hotel have a cozy feeling. The staff were helpful and kind. The breakfast was delicious. The room was comfortable and clean, and a good size for our family of 4 and all our luggage. The location is fine, if you are ok with figuring out the tube and bus system. It's a bit outside the tourist district, but we didn't mind.

The room was lacking a few amenities. A table would have been wonderful. More hooks for hanging up wet jackets or towels. The bunk beds were creaky.

Guest rooms in a beautiful British pub, located in a quiet neighborhood on the northern side of the city, far from the noisy crowd. Good connection, brown line only 5 min walking. Breakfast is the top highlight of this stay - delicious and vary! Thank you!

Big room however few things to be renewed. Being summer all the first floor (where the rooms are) was literally hot, unfortunately no air conditioning in the room, only a fan which worked pretty well for only 2 nights.

Accommodation as in the photos, spacious rooms, thick and soft carpets. The staff is extremely friendly and kind. For breakfast served perfect natural orange juice and fine coffee. Part of the breakfast offer is included in the room price, and the other part requires an additional payment. The bus and subway stations are a few minutes' walk away.

Although everything was ok, I think it is necessary to invest in changing the windows and the bed.

everything was wonderful. the food was so delicious from breakfast to lunch to dinner. the room was huge and cozy bed and pillows were very comfortable. everything was clean. we really enjoyed this stay so much, the staff was an absolute pleasure. They played the match downstairs which was awesome. if you are on the fence where to stay pull the trigger and book at William IV you won’t regret it. Notting hill is just a few blocks away which I absolutely loved. oh and they make a bomb espresso martini!!!!

everything was perfect.
