I thought the Location is superb and the staff were very friendly and understanding of requests for Bottom or Middle bunk and extra pillows and duvets. They were also very keen to make you feel at home and welcome. The checking in process is smooth and quick. The 9 bed room is very spacious and very importantly room to leave your bags and hooks to hang your jackets and trousers and shirt. The showering facilities are excellent, especcially on the 3rd floor which is the best combined showering/ toilet ensuite facilities of any hostel I have stayed in. You can also cook your own food in a very advanced and comprehensive Kitchen with oven and Electric cookers. There is also a wonderful TV/ Plasma screen with Terrestrial Freeview Channels and Netflix TV Series and Films to watch in the basement floor. A really great hostel. I would definitely strongly recommend staying for a few nights or week or even longer to anyone reading this blog.

It was clean and the staff were nice. A good working area and a clean kitchen as well.

There was a drunk man at the hotel when I was there although the situation was handled well. There was one male staff member that wasn’t so nice but the rest were and I feel that is not a reflection on the staff as a whole and maybe just on him.

I had an amazing stay at PrimeBackpacker! From the moment I arrived, I felt warmly welcomed and at home. The hostel is clean, comfortable, and full of charm. The location was great and made it easy to get where I need to with either the Tube or buses. The staff were very friendly and the bed was comfortable. There were plenty of activities to do with the hostel, some for free and some for a small fee.

You do have to strip the linens yourself when you leave, which isn't a big problem, until you see how stained the mattresses are and realize that's what you've been sleeping on; there was no direct problem with the mattress, like I said, it was very comfortable, however, putting a mattress cover over them wouldn't be too hard and could potentially help eliminate some of the stain problems. The bathrooms, while having plenty of toilets, often had wet and slippery floors due to the showers, so make sure to bring shoes for the bathroom!

The staff at this hostel were amazing and got so personal with you it was like you were their mates. Shoutout to Jodany! Really enjoyed the family dinner they offered every few nights, was able to easily meet new people. The kitchen facilities were so handy as London can be pricey, was able to store my own groceries with no issue. Beds were comfortable enough and the bathrooms were cleaned regularly. Location was good, bus stops just outside and Angel station was around the corner, so getting to central London was super easy. Stayed at this hostel for less than a week and it really started to feel like home!

It’s a home from home. The staff are genuinely friendly and helpful, and you actually end up staying in touch with them. You also end up making friends with some of the fellow hostel stayers, I ended up going for some pre-match beverages with a guy staying at the hostel as we support the same team, and we’ve said that we will stay at the hostel together whenever the team is playing at home so we don’t have to travel back out of London after the game.

There’s nothing I don’t like about this property it is great and I have been staying here on and off whenever I’m in London for nine years.

I had an absolutely fantastic stay at Prime Backpackers in Angel, London! The standout feature of this hostel is undoubtedly the incredible staff. From the moment I arrived, they were welcoming, friendly, and genuinely attentive to all my needs. Whether it was recommending local spots, ensuring the place was spotless, or just having a warm chat, they went above and beyond to create a homey and vibrant atmosphere. The facilities were clean and well-maintained, and the communal areas fostered a great sense of community among travelers. The kitchen is by far the best I’ve seen in any hostel across my travels! The location is also ideal, with easy access to public transport and great restaurants nearby. If you're looking for a comfortable, affordable place to stay with the best team in London, look no further. I’ll definitely be back!

It was perfect!

The staff was very friendly and helpful, the location was very close to a metro station and it was very easy to navigate and reach the city centre. Amazing choice for a solo trip, you have all the necessities there. They also have a small library and you can borrow a book during your stay. It felt like a nice little community. In Friday there was a cocktail night and in Sunday there was free pancakes in the morning, all the other guests were very nice, friendly and approachable.

There's a big queue for using the toilets in peak morning hours. They have an extra fee for towels. Not much space for a bigger luggage and personal things.

-Small but nice room, private room with extra towels - Very close to the bus stop - ok neighborhood - there was a private bathroom on the first floor, it was always occupied but on the floor below there was a bathroom with lots of shower cubicles -The lady at the check-in desk was very nice, she showed us the whole place and took us to our room - there was a kitchen in the facility where you could cook your own food, and a place to relax

The walls were very thin, you could hear all the sounds from the street and the people living in the room next door, it's best to take earplugs with you :)

I think the dorm room was male only and held up to 12 beds on 3 bunk beds . These were solid frames and easy to climb in and out of with good ladders . The mattress was thick and comfy. The bed linen was already in place. It was a booking out condition thst the quilt and pillow cover had to be stripped off and put in the laundry basket . Toilets and showers were OK. The basement kitchen and lounge area was large and spacious. This is a good reason for staying here. There was a Friday night Halloween party being held with both guests and staff having fun. You could bring in and store your own food and drinks. Staff were very friendly and courteous . It was good to see waste recycling in place too. The Hostel is on the 205 bus route which goes to both East and West London .
