The property quality, facilities and room were excellent and the location is outstanding in the middle of Islington close to numerous cafes and restaurants. About 15 minutes walk to either Angel or Highbury-Islington Underground stations and 5 minutes walk to the bus stops for numerous routes. Very good value for money

We were booked to stay for 25 nights. The receptionist demanded payment in advance for the full 25 days as we checked in but confirmed that we could shorten our stay by giving two days notice. I declined and paid for a week in advance and said that I would pay periodically after that. Quite frankly we were alarmed at the treatment upon arrival and wondered if we wanted to commit to the full 25 days. We were harassed on a number of occasions by reception staff asking for payment and notices demanding payment sent to our room. The reception staff, who were mainly respectful and helpful said that they were following specific instructions from their corporate office.

The property was an excellent location for us locally, the suite was really roomy. The bed was very comfortable and having chrome cast was great. Staff were polite and friendly.

The couch in the room had many obvious stains. It would have been nice to have hand wash in the bathroom or kitchen sink, rather than just a soap bar.

Room: - extremely comfortable bed - beautifully decorated; modern and comfortable furniture - well furnished kitchen with all basic kitchen amenities - high ceiling and lots of daylight with good blackout curtains Location: - very close to cars, cafes, restaurants and public transport and yet quiet enough for a good night sleep

For the type of property and price, I would expect a small espresso coffee machine in the kitchenette There were small spots of mold growing in the shawmer area and a very strong smell of mold - we had to keep the bathroom and shower doors open as much as possible in order to to able to eventually get a shower without the smell suffocating us The people working at the front desk were polite, but not hospitable.

The room and the gym. I would like to elaborate my review. My family and I are very happy with our stay in this hotel. Thank you for providing us a very safe place to stay in our 5 days in London. The community in which this hotel is located in awesome when it comes to peacefulness. There's a lot of restaurants located in the vicinity plus the room has a great size for us to enjoy specially my daughter loves to walk and run. The beds are supper comfortable that we enjoyed every night we sleep here. The plus point was you can keep your luggage in their storeroom if you are going out of England for a couple of days and come back for it on the day of your flight. The staff are all great specially the young lady who is busy catering everyone's need during breakfast. She is always cheerful and happy to serve all the guest. When we come back, we already know where we are staying. (Sorry was not able to get snapshots of the rooms, but what you see on the website is what you get).

There is no housekeeping provided for our entire stay of 5 days.

I wrote a very nice long review for this stay with my May 11th - 14th stay. So, in short, this stay was excellent!

It would be nice to have a mirror that was close to an outlet for use of a hair dryer or curling iron. I used the tissue box as a mirror on the night stand to fix my hair. it’s not something that is easy to do with out seeing what you are doing! I understand why you would not want hair dryers by the bathroom sink for safety reasons but it would hurt to have a mirror near the outlets in the bedroom area. That is the ONLY thing that was a problem in our stay!

This hotel is well-situated, in the heart of Angel with easy transport into the center and a stone throw from the local high street, featuring plenty of shops and cafes. The hotel itself is off-street, inside a shopping courtyard. This makes for a very quiet stay. The apartment-style room was good; nothing to get terribly excited about. Good shower as well. They offer a fun service to send postcards free of charge, a reference to the building’s former purpose as a postal office.

The room seemed to have a centrally controlled AC system, at least we couldn’t get it to change. It was repeatedly uncomfortably hot in the room. We ended up sleeping with a window open.

Everything! It was a little more than we had hoped to spend but was well located and a great place to stay. we actually stayed there May 5th, 6th and 7th, and May 11th,12th, 13th and 14th. We actually stayed at another Citadines the 11th due to some plumbing issues at the Islington location. Chris, at the Islington made sure we had a cab to the hotel, upgraded rooms and complementary breakfast for the rest of our stay at the Islington location! It made the change in our travel schedule a lot more comfortable. We were well taken care of! Thank you! We would definitely recommend your hotel and stay there again!

The rooms were clean and comfortable, the breakfast was delicious…..but the staff was outstanding…..very helpful and kind!

This is quite a new property therefore the upkeep of the place is good. Room is of acceptable size and clean. The size of the room is suitable for 2 pax, 3 pax is a stretch. The sofa bed is a nice design where I can use half of it to make it a single bed which gives us the other half for sitting around (like a 2-seater). Location is a bit off from central central but close to tube and bus stops are right outside so it is still convenient. A nice neighbourhood with a good choice of restaurants nearby. It has a nice lounge area which complimentary coffee and tea is served. The gym is also good.

There is limited wardrobe storage place. The kitchen is lack of the dish rack and paper towel. The towel radiator in the bathroom did not work for three nights. I reported this at the first night and then every day but none of the staff members I spoke of took it seriously until Peter who came up and check and then found out the issue and got maintenance staff to fix it on the fourth day. Thank you Peter.

The location of the hotel was great. It is very easy to reach with public transport, just a five-minute walk to the nearest bus stop and fifteen-minute walk to the nearest underground. Also, since the hotel/appartment is located at a kind of courtyard with security, it was very quite at night and you felt really safe.

Nothing was disappointing actually. We stayed five nights, and so we just didn't qualify for a daily cleaning service. But if we needed new towels or toilet paper, we could just ask and got it for free.

The location was great, staff was friendly and very helpful the rooms were big and well appointed.

The shower in the bathroom was a little dirty the grout had some black stains/mold corners of the shower pan had the same staining. Mad the shower expeeriance a bit diminshed where everything else was on a top level. The heated towel bar is a nice touch but i could nit figure out how to shut it off. So it was on all the time so when it was hot outside made the bathroom a bit hot, however in the morning when the temprature was a bit colder it was very welcomed.
