Rosewood London

The location was very good. Staff were professional and they guide you well. Breakfast has lots of variety choices as well as classic English breakfast that you should try. There is a good traditional bar that you should really see even if you wont drink something to have atmosphere. Rooms were very clean, condition was very good and you have type of options on technologic basis as well. I request from them for ironing service and they arranged in a same day which was absolutely fast. I am visiting London regularly and I should say this is the most precious stay that I had experienced so far. Thank you for this kind hospitality!

The Rosewood is ‘grand’ in the sense it is an imposing property with some fine public spaces. If it truly is a ‘grande dame’ of hotel properties the ‘dame’ is question is tired and in serious need of a good re-vamp and rejuvenation. The rooms (and especially the bathrooms) need a re-think and a lot of investment before the promise can match the delivery.

Our room was tired and in need of a serious amount of work to bring it up to ‘five star standard’.

Excellent location for sights, for walking, or for talking the tube. Incredibly attentive and thoughtful housekeeping - when we came back to our room we found a few little surprises that show real attention to detail - they left two small teddy bears for our children, put a bookmark in my book, left a small cloth for wiping the screen of our iPad among other things. Also reception staff (particularly Regina) made us feel at home. Super comfortable bed too!

At some point we asked the concierge to cancel a dinner reservation we had made, and they pointed out the cancellation policy without even trying to speak to them as it would “jeopardize their relationship”. We called the restaurant ourselves and canceled without any issues.

Linens, room size, amenities were all lovely. Room service personnel were amazing. All lobby staff were friendly and welcoming.

Maid did not clean room for two days, after calling housekeeping, a maid did come up and took our tip but only wrapped a cord around a blow drier (not necessary) while failing to empty trash or to do the one thing we wrote her a note about. We really wanted replenishment of coffee and towels - that didn't happen until the third day, when we called housekeeping again and this time, they responded instantly with a fix (although it would have been nice to resolve it earlier and not have housekeeping in the room as as the same time we were trying to relax).

location perfect - 2 mins walk to the underground (Piccadilly Line) so it was an easy to get to/from airports and trains(we flew into Heathrow Terminal 5). We had a family room which was spacious and lovely touches for our 6 year old granddaughter who was with us. There was a lovely little bed, cuddly toy, activity pack, child toiletries, child’s dressing gown and slippers. we had a meal at the Holborn Restaurant and that was first class. We’ve stayed at the Shangri-la at the Shard and the Corinthia previously but this hotel was more child friendly for us.

Could do with a pool but we were so busy that getting back to the room to chill was perfect. Also - lobby would be a nice place for tea/coffee and drinks but you need to go to the bar or restaurant. Bar doesn’t accept children after 6 but you can use the bar area in the restaurant.

The location is outstanding, near many attractions and around the corner from the Holborn Tube Station. The staff was incredibly accommodating, from the desk staff, house keeping, concierge, and restaurants, everyone was outstanding. They went above and beyond every time we had a request. I would recommend the Rosewood to anyone traveling to London and it will be where we stay are time we go back.

The rooms are spacious, the bed was comfortable, the hotel was modern and up to date and Scarfes bar and common areas were beautifully decorated.

Rosewood London is the finest hotel imaginable. It is in an exquisite 1912 building and the incredible team here literally pampers the guests in so many ways: -superb beds, pillows, and duvets. Best hotel sleeping we’ve ever experienced -very clean spacious rooms (very quiet and air conditioned) with special touches and turn down services. (Nespresso coffee maker and electric kettle in the rooms) -above and beyond staff support. The concierge desk even mailed a package for us with no charge. -there was great live music in the hotel bar. We will return whenever we travel to London.

Although the primary restaurant has incredible food, it was quite expensive so we ended up trying many restaurants in the local area. Luckily, the Concierge was very helpful about booking restaurants for us.

The overall experience at the Rosewood hotel is amazing, should you just visit for dinner and drinks or stay overnight.

I was charged £671.54 at reception when the agreed Booking.com rate was £544.32p. The over charge included an additional 5% rooms service charge which I was not made aware of. This is the second occasion I have been charged more that the agreed Booking.com rate at reception. The rates anomaly should be reviewed and addressed.

The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is immaculate and had front door car service for their guest’s convenience. Great location to get to main tourist attractions easily but sitting in its own quiet area.

Absolutely nothing! Everything was perfect. The only thing I could potentially say, is it’s probably not overly child friendly to keep kids entertained for a long stay.
