The staff were very friendly and helpful. Evening provided complimentary umbrellas when it was raining. The location is fabulous and an easy walk to the shows, shops, underground, restaurants and bars. The hotel has a wonderful roof top bar that does amazing cocktails and nibbles. Would highly recommend the hotel and will definitely be back.

The lighting around the mirror could be better as it is very dark when trying to put makeup on. Breakfast should include hot options with no additional cost in my opinion.

Lovely hotel in perfect location however the room was tiny! Lighting was dreadful- perfect for a romantic weekend but useless when trying to apply makeup or dry hair- on that note the hairdryer did not reach the mirror so very much had to hope for the best. No where to store case and wardrobe space minimal. Breakfast area was more like a casual bar area- low tables, poor lighting and cheese, meats and yoghurts/ fruits only.- will i rush back? Probably not! Which is a shame because it was a lovely hotel and staff very accommodating but claustrophobic rooms , dismal lighting definitely put me off.

Hotel only opened the day before our stay. Staff still settling down but very keen and enthusiastic. Our room was ideal for a short stay but compact as many London Hotel rooms are. Location is fantastic in the middle of many theatres and a stone's throw from Covent Garden.

More a comment than anything; some of the erotic art work scattered around may not be ideally suited for children.

The bathroom was a great size and the shower was fab. The roof top bar was a lovely addition. All the staff we came in to contact with were friendly and helpful

Nothing. We had all we could dream for, great service from all staff , all very friendly and only to pleased to help you, i cannot fault any of the personnel at the Amano Covent Garden. Must just add a big thankyou to the staff behind the scenes, room service, chefs the lot, you all made our stay so easy. I would definitely return to this hotel and most certainly recommend it. Location was amazing! We booked a room with a balcony which I’m glad we did as it gave some room. The hotel does have mini fridges to use for free but you need to ask for one right away as they get booked up. Rooftop patio is beautiful to experience, locals go there as well. There is air conditioning and wifi! Close to the tube for easy access to get around. Theatres are all in a one block radius. Would stay here again. Balcony gives an amazing view of the city.

Just one night there was a Dj on the Saturday which you could hear music from the rooftop but we didn’t mind as we fell right asleep

The breakfast was buffet style usual things pastries, fruit yogurt etc, however I ordered poached eggs on toast which was extra price, we booked to see the show frozen the location was great for this with just a 3 minute walk from the hotel, covent garden shops was all within walking distance, it can get very busy when wanting to eat but there is plenty of places to chose from.

There wasn't anything we didn't like really, if i at to say something is everywhere in the evening for food needs to be pre booked to ensure a table, I like to be a little more spontaneous, we had to pay £40.00 to prebook a table with a hour and half wait after our show finished.

The hotel is modern, all fixtures and fittings up to date, clean, tidy, comfortable, fabulous location, smells fresh, ambient lighting, fabulous roof top terrace bar, delicious coffee and biscuits in rooms, incredible breakfast, friendly and welcoming staff.

There was nothing we did not like. We were a group of 11 friends travelling for a 50th birthday treat and a theatre evening, and we were all delighted we'd chosen the Amano as it was exceptional. We had 4 rooms and included breakfast, the only thing we would have done differently was to have all the rooms on the same floor as they were split between 3 floors but that did not spoil anything for any of us. Also, would have had more coffee available in the room so more did not have to be requested, as only 1 each supplied for 2 day trip.

I liked that you could self check in, as there were only 2 people on reception it cut down the waiting time. Penelopes restaurant was amazing, food was gorgeous and the staff were very accommodating, the waiter heard it was my fiancées birthday and when dessert arrived there was a candle and the staff sang happy birthday which was a wonderful surprise. We went to the roof top bar and the staff there were very helpful finding us a table outside when we hadn't made a reservation, very friendly and attentive. I also liked that we could check out online. The room was lovely, lighting could have been a bit more as could storage for clothes. Shower was amazing. Balcony was very snug, but only used for smoking so that was OK.

Although the rooms were very opulent, there was not enough space for storing clothes and toiletries.

Great location with only a short walk from Covent Garden. Breakfast was good, lots of choice in a pleasant setting. Rooftop bar had great view across London and blankets were provided for you to keep warm (travelled in Feb).

We booked a family room but effectively we were allocated a disabled access room with a double bed and sofa bed style single. Room wasn't overly big but was adequate for our one night stay. The bathroom was like a wet room due to the disabled access requirements which meant that the floor became very wet and had to use towels to dry otherwise your feet would get wet using the toilet.
