After the loss of our son earlier this year we decided to have a wee break away from it all, and we couldn’t have chosen any better. We originally booked the deluxe double room but on arrival we found that had changed to an entire ground floor flat. The flat more than met our expectations it was literally like home from home with everything you could possibly need for a self catering holiday. The view from the large bay window in both the living room and bedroom was nothing short of amazing with a window seat to sit and watch the waves crashing onto the beach. Breakfast was included due to previously booking a deluxe double room in the main house which did not disappoint and certainly provided a hearty start to your day. Cereal toast and a full English breakfast which was absolutely delicious and the hosts obviously used quality products. The owners are absolutely lovely and definitely cater to your every whim. We only wish our stay had been longer, having said that we are going back in the winter for a weekend to hopefully see the northern lights which seem to be a regular phenomenon in this area. Angela the owner was more than happy to share her experience and photos of the northern lights and what better way to see it than a lovely B&B with amazing hosts and a property that has uninterrupted views of the sea. Highly recommended a stay here it’s perfect.

The accommodation was to a high standard , the rooms were clean and very comfortable . The hosts were really friendly and obliging . The breakfast was really tasty and there was also an offer of some food for our daughter who didn’t make it for breakfast.

Nothing I can think of really , nitpicking now - maybe the breakfast table immediately under the tv felt slightly like a goldfish bowl .

Had a fabulous stay at Links Lodge. The lodge’s location is perfect and overlooks the flat sandy bay with stunning views of the whole bay, lighthouse and stunning sunsets. Hosts Angela and John were just fantastic and were always there when needed, we were greeted with a warm smile and instantly felt very welcome. The whole house and our bedroom was beautifully clean and had everything we needed and more ( a nice touch were the binoculars on the window sill to view the stunning view with more detail). We had a very peaceful night sleep and a fantastic breakfast in the breakfast room. All in all, our stay here was fabulous and would highly recommend. A huge thank you to Angela and John for making our stay brilliant.

There is nothing not to like !!!! This is an exceptional place to stay.

We have stayed on a number of occasions and the hosts are excellent and rooms are of a high standard. The breakfast certainly sets you up for the day. If you are golfing it is literally only about 50 yards at most to the clubhouse. Views from the front bedrooms are spectacular over the Moray Firth.

I liked the extra bed in my bedroom. This was wonderful as it provided me a great night's sleep sleeping on my own bed. I loved the cozy dining room which gave me a brilliant view of the sea view across the hotel. Most appreciated was the owner's warmth and hospitality!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, the rooms were beautiful, the bed was so comfortable and the breakfast was genuinely the nicest I have ever eaten, everything of the highest quality and cooked to perfection, piping hot and just gorgeous! The hosts were wonderful and friendly.

Not a huge issue and it wouldn’t stop us coming again but there is no designated car park, however the landlady very kindly moved her car to make room for us (just across the road)

Location was excellent it was exceptionally clean smelt beautiful .Room was of a good standard The host was friendly without being over powering. Added bonus the buildings history . Breakfast was spot on..We will defiantly be revisiting

I met both John and Angela inside and outside their premises and there was no change in their friendly demeanour. They are quite simply a pleasant, polite and hard-working couple running a very nice business. Absolutely perfect base for golfers!

The venue was absolutely ideal. The house was beautifully and elegantly decorated. The owners were very friendly and did everything to make our visit as brilliant as it was. My husband and I had a wonderful wedding anniversary I recommend this venue without any reservations.

There was nothing I didn't like. Everything was perfect. The venue was just right for our return to the area after 53 years.

Breakfast was delicious. The standard of food was exceptional as was the quantity.

We would have appreciated directional signage on the property as to parking and even the property name on the front of the building would have assisted us tremendously.
