Large selection of food and drinks at breakfast. Staff were always very friendly, courteous and helpful. View from the restaurant (south facing) was very pleasant. The room was of a very good size and had a lovely view.

Room was very good but with two design faults for an accessible room - the bathroom light switch is 30 inches away from the hinged side of the bathroom door (which opens out into the room). The bed is not accessible from the left hand side (looking from the foot of the bed) for a wheelchair user. Fortunately, my husband was able to walk from the foot of the bed to the head of the bed.

The suite we booked became unavailable shortly before arriving, due to refurbishment. We were put in a double room that was absolutely acceptable, but given a £30 rebate, 4 drinks vouchers and we also got breakfast for free. Good customer service

Just a small point. The entrance is off a roundabout on a busy road. However, it is not obvious it is the Hotel entrance, as it says “Health Club” in large letters. The hotel has a large frontage so I went round the roundabout assuming there was an entrance along the front. It turns out there isn’t. Unfortunately there was a long queue to the next roundabout to come back. When you then go in the “Health Club” entrance there is a small faded sign in a post not visible from the way I came. Could do with a more visible sign,

The location of the hotel with ample parking and outside space. Rosie the receptionist was very welcoming on arrival after what had been a difficult journey that day due to road closures and road works. Rosie explained that the room was ready and being a Genius traveller the advantages we were entitled to. The room was very comfortable and in a quiet position. Tea/ coffee and biscuits available in the room. The bed very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout the hotel. Breakfast was excellent with a good selection to cater for all visitors. Snacks and dinner also good. Would definitely stay again. May be try the spa facilities next time.

Nothing.

location to leeds castle nice bedroom but too hot. the staff tried to help

the attitude of the bar manager on a very hot night, we returned with others to the bar after a concert . No one was loud in anyway. there were no seats in the bar but seats outside. The manager insisted we all came into the bar as we would disturb guests. I repeat everyone was tired and it was very hot , everyone was unhappy about this . very dissatisfied as we have stayed four times previously and always had a drink outside after the concert. why bother to have seats outside? The manager certainly needs to improve his customer service skills as his attitude was actually quite rude

The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly and all work extremely hard. Breakfast was well managed, food options swiftly restocked. There is fantastic outdoor space and resident peacocks who watched our outdoor chess game with suitable disdain at our poor tactics. It was lovely to sit outside and have a drink as the sunset whilst the children could run off their energy on the lawn. The hotel is next door to Leeds Castle and was a fantastic place to stay for the Queen's Joust

There are some nasty potholes in the car park, so worth driving in with care. The swimming pool is 2.1m at the deep end, which was too much for not confident swimmer. We also seemed to cause the ire of some of the regular swimming members who wanted to swim lengths, but because there was no lanes marked off they took all the pool width at points and our presence in the pool was obviously unwelcome. I appreciate they are members, but it is hard to find places open locally to use where we can teach our children to swim at times we can actually get there. We did swim again on the Monday after breakfast and the empty pool was a much more enjoyably experience. There is also no spinner to help dry out your swimming costumes.

Purana the restaurant manager was excellent. He was very friendly and helpful. Took time to chat and sort any problems. I think the lad behind the bar on our first 2 nights (think his name was Alan) was excellent. He also went above and beyond his basic job. He was very friendly and helpful and went out of his way to make our stay great.

There where no draws in our room, only a wardrobe for hanging clothes which was odd for a hotel room. We had to keep other clothes in our suitcase. The sink tap wasn't great. Only a little flow and water was always warm so had to get water from the bar for drink overnight. One of the lads working in the restaurant and bar on our 3rd and 4th nights was very unfriendly and everything seemed an effort for him.

Stayed here with my 11 year old daughter and my mum for a 2 night break. The hotel was in a fantastic location, there is so much to do nearby. The staff were friendly, the breakfast was lovely and had plenty of choice and we loved the swimming pool. We had a lovely view from our room, our room was quite spacious for the 3 of us. We'll definitely stay here again.

The restaurant was a little pricey, but we managed to eat out during our stay anyway. Also has quite a few deep pot holes at the entrance/exit so be careful when driving

Our room was fantastic. We stayed at the Castle suite. Very spacious! coffee and tea on offer. We travelled with my son and on request we were given a bed for him, that we put up on the living room. Our room overlooked a field and lake. Very pleasant to wake up to that wiew indeed. Breakfast was very good, with a great variety on offer. We have also made use of the swimming pool and SPA. In the evening we made use o the deal at the bar and share a Pizza instead going for dinner. In all we had a great experience.

Nothing to complaing. We enjoyed our stay. Would recommend.

Very clean, surrounded by nature (many wild bunnies are freely hopping around the green premises; and a gorgeous peacock couple is walking around the terrace), excellent breakfast and spa facilities, VERY helpful and friendly staff, amazing bed and pillows, coffee & tea in the room.

Minor details: shower fixed at the top; wifi not fully reliable, a bit dated overall. But nothing to justify anything less than 10. [I don’t quite understand why people say they “liked everything”, but then they give a score of 9 or 8 or even 7…]

From our arrival we found everything to be as hoped. What surprised me was the level of customer service from every member of staff we dealt with. They were all informative, very friendly but professional. We ate dinner and that was all lovely as was the breakfast. We were able to take our well behaved pet dog into the dining room with us which made things even more easy.

Charging £30 for the dog is excessive. I've not stopped anywhere where the charge for a pet was over £15. If you insist on charging that amount why not give half back once the room has been checked? This would ensure that customers would ensure that the pet behaved well in the room. The room we stopped in was a little tired and in need of an up-date.
