Restaurant situated in a pretty spot beside the pond. Nice breakfast.

We stayed in an accessible room, and while the room and bathroom had all the usually wheelchair accessible features, we noticed how heavy the doors were, and we figured a wheelchair user on their own would really struggle holding doors open while navigating the chair through - the room definitely fits better with how I think it was advertised as "accessible with carer". The weight of the doors also meant they slam loudly, which can be an issue if the neighbouring rooms are coming in/going out when you're trying to sleep.

The staff were exceptional at this hotel. The receptionist gave us a very warm welcome and gave us information on things to see in the local area. She happily changed our room when we explained that one of us had a mobility problem. The food in the restaurant was delicious and there was a very good choice and the breakfasts were also varied and large portions. All the staff in the restaurant were friendly and helpful. On top of this the bedrooms were spacious and everywhere was clean and well maintained.

There was nothing that I didn’t like about this hotel.

When I booked my stay at the Weald of Kent Golf Course and Hotel I wasn't sure what to expect. Very impressed. Warm and friendly atmosphere and excellent room and facilities. Staff friendly, cheerful and polite. I am vegetarian and would have liked some more alternative options on the dinner menu. Vegans would have had difficulty in finding anything suitable. Maybe having a small separate menu for us "difficult" to feed people might be a solution. Breakfast was excellent and best scrambled eggs I've had in a long time, thank you.

Really couldn't fault anything. The only item I would have liked in room would be one or two small bottles of still water apart from that and comments previously made everything had clearly been thought about to make your stay a pleasure.

Loved the location. Just up the road from our friend's place! The beds were so comfy & the staff were all really friendly & helpful! We missed the breakfast time slot, but the kitchen & general staff were still willing to fit us in! Plus they were more than happy to accommodate my restricted diet! I'll definitely be staying here again, next time I'm visiting friends down the road!

The room was a little on the small size I felt, for myself & my friend but otherwise all was hunky dory!

Good value for money. Friendly staff on reception. Nice setting.

My only problem was an overwhelming smell of cannabis in the building, I assumed from a visitor, but there were no smoking signs all around. On my second evening I was at my car and there was a man on a walkie talkie, I assume security, about 15 feet away from me and wafts of cannabis smell and smoke all around him. As I re-entered the building this man was in the foyer still on the walkie talkie, and the smell of cannabis was notable all the way up the stairs. This is enough to stop me staying again.

The room and general facilities were to a good standard and it was worth paying the small extra for the larger room. The breakfast was good and the service on the first 2 days was excellent. Not quite as good for the last 2 days.

However it would have been better if there were too comfortable chairs in the seating area. The one chair that was there needs to be cleaned and the base re upholstered. The hooks on the back of the bathroom door are very high. There are no hooks for outdoor clothing. There was some drilling and fitting of cables being done in the adjacent bar. This surely could have waited 1 hour until breakfast guests had been served and left. Slight lack of recognition of how intrusive the noise was to others.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and a good size. Breakfast choice was great with a decent amount of time allowance to have it. The venue, deco, catering and everything for the Wedding I was there for, was excellent and made the day just perfect. Really enjoyed my stay, thank you. I would totally recommend it as a wedding venue and to stay there.

There was nothing that I didn't like and so nothing I can think to improve on.

Have used the Weald three times now as a base for visiting family in Headcorn, it's always very clean and for our needs is excellent.

Availability can be a problem, not the hotels fault at all but we'd love to book more, but depending on time of year or functions it can be very hard, Headcorn is a very hard place to stay due to a lack of nearby accommodation and the Weald is excellent for this.

The staff were friendly, polite and helpful throughout. They plated up our evening meal so we could eat in our rooms- excellent portions and hot. Breakfast was excellent value- buffet style cereals, toast and pastries and unlimited hot drinks plus a full choice of cooked breakfast! Fabulous. The rooms were excellent.

The lighting was a bit bright over the bed.

Wasn't sure what to expect from a Golf Club Hotel, but the room was light and clean. we were there in a hot spell so the Aircon was welcome. View of the Golf course was erm.. Alright (not being a golf fanatic) :)

Parking area was too small for the number of rooms, if every room in the block has one car.. Some parked inconsiderately so others had to park on the access road and verges. Marking out the spaces might help.
