Very comfortable bed, bed linen and pillows, plus black out curtains make for an excellent night's sleep. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Good food at breakfast and dinner. Nice pool and sauna and steam room too. Spotlessly clean everywhere. Refreshing place to stay whilst working long hours. Lovely area for walks / runs just opposite the hotel which a helpful member of staff told me about - perfect antidote to working indoors all day. I've stayed before and I've booked to stay again for my next business trip in the area.

Cappuccino often not available at breakfast as not all the morning staff know how to operate it, it seems. Would be great if this could be improved.

Friendly and helpful staff, room very pleasant with a lovely view straight onto the grounds and golf course. The meals were well presented and tasty, price about average for a well-rated hotel. Restaurant staff were very pleasant and the service very good.

I requested a walk-in shower, which we got, but, it was a wet-room and the shower water went literally everywhere, we requested that perhaps it needed to be adjusted as we couldn't move it, and a very helpful maintenance man did adjust it but not really happy with the bathroom getting soaked every time we used the shower. Have been told since that the hotel is changing to a walk-in shower cubicle.

It was a surprise overnight stay for my husband, and I was pleasantly surprised at the hotel. Everything about our stay was near perfect. We received a lovely welcome at reception, who informed us there was a wedding in attendance and will be finished by early evening, and our room was ready earlier than planned - was ultra clean, and the facilities were excellent We had a minor issue at evening dinner which was promptly sorted out by Julie in the restaurant, who was just fantastic. The food was superb, including the wonderful choice of breakfast. No matter what role the staff had, they always acknowledged you whatever they were in the process of doing. Overall we both managed to chill out, which was the main purpose of our stay. Thank you to the Team at Marriott TPCC.

Hotel looked very very posh when we got there, was very impressed. The pool was lovely and everything was very clean. All staff were very friendly.

The room itself there were a few flaws, the air con unit didn't work, the shower was below expectation, not very powerful at all, light switches were very confusing, when I switched the one by the desk on and the tall one in the corner, they didn't come on so assumed they didn't work, turns out they were powered by a switch by the bed which I thought was odd. When booking 'superior king with terrace' I somehow expected more. Having said that it was a nice clean room.

Hotel great ideal for meeting + around of Golf.

In reference to the evening meal, I was appalled at the cost £65.00 starter and main. In addition, the 12.5% service charge that was added. To make this worse the service was poor. The starter was £12.00 Prawn Bruschetta – 3 x Prawns little piece tomato on a sliver of bread, cost extortionate. Main Ribeye Steak £29.00 average. Chips £5.00 Basket portion. Side Salad 3 x Tomatoes only $6.00. Due to the cost I will not be staying at any Marriot Hotels for future business trips, in addition I am in the process of cancelling our Society Golf Day. Our company provide an evening meal allowance which is generous but not at Marriot costs.

Facilities were good, clean and safe. room was lovely and spacious. Food for breakfast was well organised and staff were very helpful. Reception staff were great when checking in and out and also when we enquired about a taxi for the evening and we needed room service.

Bar was not open on the upper level by restaurant where the sport was showing, with the bar lights all being on but then not having staff to run the bar. We also got back from wedding reception on Saturday night about 11:30pm and fancied a drink with friends we had not seen for a while and whilst there were still customers at the bar we were told the bar was closed and not serving.

The Staff, were very pleasant, and professional, the hotel in general was very good, well structured, great views of greenery and golf course, just a very nice place to be in. Good rooms, many more than you would think... it is a bigger hotel than at first glance. Room also had a fridge :)

We were part of a wedding party, held locally, so were disappointed upon arrival, 11am, the bar wasn't open, then pretty further disappointed upon return, around midnight, the bar was closed. It was a Sunday night, but there were 30 plus of us, and this is a Marriott. Quite surprised tbh, but in the long run, probably did us all a favour! Was offered to pay for hotel wifi, who does that these days? Breakfast restaurant tables looked in need of a bit of tlc

The hotel is located perfectly for quick access to the Euro tunnel. The staff were very pleasant and welcoming. The restaurant food seemed a little limited and basic but the hotel seems to be used for business and travelling so to be expected.

The food options were limited but adequate for a one night stay. The smaller restaurant which seemed to serve the golfers was dirty. Tables were not cleared and the condiments on the tables didnt look as if they had ever been wiped with a clean cloth.

Breakfast was exceptional. Vast choice. Dinner was fantastic. Good range of meals. The mushroom tagliatelle was amazing. Rooms were very clean and well equipped. Was very appreciative of the takeaway cups so had warm drink for journey home. Staff were very friendly and polite. Location is good and parking fine.

Our coffee machine didn't work and nor did plug for kettle which was a shame. The dressing gowns are really small. The soft drinks in bar were flat. Conditioner in bathroom would be appreciated especially after using pool. Also towels next to pool would be helpful.

Excellent breakfast with great choice. They even had a pancake machine, much to our amusement ! Evening meal was good, service was attentive, but slightly slow. The public area had a hint of art deco. If you have visited Eltham Palace you will know what I mean !

We were allocated an accessible room for our stay which allowed us access to a terrace. The doors handle was broken which caused a problem to shut a secure the door. In addition, the integral window in the door also had a broken handle.
