EV charger, easy access from car park to receptoin, easy check in, nice rooms, love the patio from the room, nice surroundings, ceiling fan great for this weather, gym useful, restaurant service great, great selection of food, good price, nothing to complain about, check out easy and had company address on invoice, will def stay again. Good selection of minibar if needed.

I think there was a towel on the side of the bath when I checked in, wasnt sure if it was used or not or forgotten about after the room was cleaned before I arrived, not a big deal. Couldnt find a plug socket for the kettle near a table so had to put kettle on the floor. Cups could be bigger (i.e. mugs).

Very friendly, and quick check in. Only serve food until 8pm on a Sunday, so we phoned in advance as we were hoping to arrive by about 7.45, having driven from Heathrow, and they arranged to have our order ready at 8pm, very considerate of them. Room comfortable, the ceiling fan was a bonus as it had been a warm day. Secure parking in the large car park behind the main building, electric chargers if you need one. Excellent breakfast, continental or a large full English. Hope to stay again when next in the area.

A plug near a mirror for the hairdryer might be useful. Quilt on bed perhaps a bit heavy for a summer stay, but that's being a bit fussy!!

Lovely gastro pub/hotel in a great village location. Nice outside seating area. Very atmospheric inside the building. Seperate bedrooms at rear of pub. Good parking. Bedrooms very comfy and bathroom clean and spacious. Food is excellent and the staff very helpful and attentative. We have stayed before and will stay again.

Pub bar not open until 6 pm. Blinds in the bedroom are a nightmare and need replacing.

Clean and nice decor. Very spacious - whole 3 bed house with 3 bedrooms each with their own bathroom. The toiletries provided were useful. Smart TVs were a very useful bonus and the wifi was great and easy to connect to. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Easy to communicate with main reception - we had a problem with a faulty kettle and it was replaced in minutes. Lovely quiet location with plenty of rural walks but also within walking distance of the village which had a good coop and local store plus a craft shop and the Treasurers House (National Trust property). Also within 15 minutes of Yeovil for shopping. The Rose and Crown pub is just down the road and the locals were very welcoming.

Could have done with a baking tray and scissors in the kitchen if we'd been staying longer but I'm sure the hotel would have provided one had we asked.

It was very close to a farm where we were attending a wedding. The local knowledge of the staff on reception meant we were able to find it easily when many couldn't find it at all.

We only stayed one night so didn't have the chance to use all facilities and I don't want to be critical and the suite was good value for money but the key to greatness - hotels or cooking or whatever is attention to detail. The balcony was cramped and I imagine put in to accommodate smokers - that's understandable but it was neglected compared to the rest of the suite - flaking paint on outside doors and windows - minor but detracts from the impeccable exterior - get your head Chef to have a look!

Excellent hotel. Nice big room with a comfortable bed, all the extras like tea/coffee, minibar, ironing board etc etc. Friendly chatty staff, good food, couldn't fault it really. Handy for Yeovil whilst being nice and quiet. I get around a fair bit for work and a nice hotel is a blessed relief at the end of a 4 hour drive!

Struggling to think of something. It was a bit difficult to shave in the bathroom lighting. No AC in the room. There was radiator and a portable fan, and a ceiling fan though.

Room had everything we needed, fan over bed, mini bar at sensible prices, de-humidify, 'bulb' like area in bath so I could stand upright (best I've ever had), VERY attentive staff and 'management' who picked out cigarette ends in stone vases (very impressive!), large bath towels. Excellent menu for dinner bearing in mind our troubled times. Can't praise this hotel enough.

Only one set of towels in bathroom and one spot light out over wash basin - lack of 'attention' to detail. This was a shame as I would have given the hotel as many stars as possible!

Beautiful rooms, very friendly helpful staff. The grounds were kept very clean and looked amazing. Food in the restaurant was excellent and very reasonable. Will 100% be back.

Feels a little nit picky, but it was very hot during our stay, and the room could have done with some air conditioning. That said fans etc were all provided and ceiling fans certainly helped.

The room was very comfortable and it was nice to have an outside area to sit and enjoy the sunshine. The hotel is an impressive looking building and very clean and tidy with freindly staff. The restaurant is very good with exceptional food. The villiage was bigger than i expected and had quite a few impressive buildings.

If i had one complaint it would be that the restaurant/bar isn't open during the middle if the day for lunch, snacks or drinks. There are a couple of places for that close by though.

The hotel is elegant and comfortable, the staff offer a 5 star personal service, the fact it’s not super modern is a major plus as it gives it that elegant charm and matches the building. We checked into The Keep initially which was absolutely awful and checked out again, thankfully The Hollies had one room left. The second we walked in we were welcomed with a smile and amazing customer service, the room was beautiful and qe just instantly relaxed.

The WiFi wasn’t the strongest that was literally the only issue.
