We have absolutely nothing but praise for Liongate House. We were very comfortable in every aspect of our stay. A warm welcome was followed by time spent in a very pleasant and well equipped room. The shower room was extremely well planned and every detail carefully considered. We had a peaceful and restful sleep. The breakfast was plentiful and cooked to perfection. The entire property was meticulously clean, contributing to a delightful stay.

Nothing to dislike.

Can't fault anything, really nice quiet location, not far from the Haynes Motor Museum and the Fleet Air Arm Museum. The room was spotless, great wet room with walk in shower, Breakfast was just perfect, best full English we have had in many years. Liz and Graeme were brilliant hosts, nothing too much trouble, very friendly. Lovely Italian Restaurant a few mins walk away. Car parking on site is no problem at all. All in all near perfect.

Lovely B&B very smart and clean. The bedroom had everything we needed including a fan which really helped in the hot weather. Bed was lovely and comfy. Nice to have a sofa in the room which was spacious (we had booked the superior king) also had some dvds to watch on the tv. Breakfast was great with plenty to choose from all well cooked and bread home made and delicious. Nice to be able to sit in the cooler garden in comfy chairs, very pretty flowers and all nicely kept Would definitely stay again if in the area.

The location of Liongate House was ideal for a family wedding at Sparkford House. Both Liz and Graeme were very accommodating, friendly, helpful, and put us at ease from the time we arrived on Saturday late morning to the time we departed late morning Sunday. Thank You both!

Less noisy traffic through the night - we did sleep with our bedroom window open, so what does one expect!

The accommodation and facilities were of the highest quality. Parking easy on-site. Nothing was too much trouble for the Hosts and the room, bed, shower and all other facilities were superb. The breakfast was excellent with great choice and quality. Well-positioned for breaking an A303 journey to/from the West Country or staying a few days to explore Somerset, in historic Ilchester there are good eating options within 5 mins walk. We enjoyed our stay very much and have no hesitation in recommending Lionsgate. It's great.

Liz and Graeme were the perfect hosts - friendly, helpful and professional without being intrusive. They made us feel welcome and at ease, after our tiring journey, providing us with a much needed pot of tea. The breakfast was delicious, with a great choice of cereals, juices, items of cooked breakfast or continental and for me tasty Gluten Free toast.

Lovely B&B ..the owners were extremely friendly and helpful. The garden was an unexpected delight…our grandson loved the fishpond. The family suite was clean and comfortable . Breakfast was brilliant, with homemade bread and jams The location is central , off street parking always a bonus And so close to the Air Museum Would definitely stay again

The hosts were great really helpful and friendly. The room was as advertised. Clean tidy and the king deluxe was comfortable and a great size. Great pub down the road for meals and a great place to explore Somerset. Highly recommended

Everything about this little gem was exceptional. Breakfast was amazing and the host was a lovely lady .My room was beautiful as was the rest of the B and B .The accomidation was spotless would 100 % highly recommend this place to stay .

Couldn’t improve it was top quality.

Staff was very friendly and helpfull, room was very spacious, clean and had all that a person needs. I did not stay for breakfast unfortunately, but a friend who stayed there previously said it very good. Definitely recommended.
