The breakfast each day was amazing quality, we were awed city kids rising every morning in the dining room with big windows to a stunning waterfront view. The staff were quick to address noise complaints, and were kind enough to provide iced water and fans during a heatwave.

The "wheelchair access" room was all the way down a tight corridor that ended in a sharp right-angle turn with two sets of doors to open before getting into the room. My boyfriend had to do acrobats to hold them all open for me - and then the room's bed was really close to the door so that made the entrance even tighter. I managed it in a small manual wheelchair, but for an electric wheelchair/scooter user it'd be impossible. Also the sink was so tiny with no room for placing toothbrushes etc, and the mirror so high that all I could see was my forehead - maybe add a shelf where the soap dispenser is?

Pleasant location, lovely view from the beer garden, friendly staff, tasty food options :) we also managed to get parking every day (although once or twice the options for a 'bigger car' dwindled)

I had to skip taking showers on the last 2 days. On the second last day the water was barely warm. On my last day the water was very cold. Even after running the tap for a while. I assume they may have had a boiler issue, but I didn't ask as i had to run to work early....so that's just a guess. I didnt much like the bathroom sink as there was barely any room to put things on the back or sides. My toiletries lived on a low windowsill by the toilet, which i didnt much like. On the subject of the toilet. I really didn't like the seat. I became a 'bigger guy' over lockdown and the seat such as it was seemed to 'dig in'. My thoughts were, the combination of hard edges and narrow width didn't mix too well.

The room was comfortable and clean. The view from the hotel terrace was great. The building itself is elegant. The staff were all really friendly and helpful. The food was really good. It was great to be able to bring the dog with us. We enjoyed walking down the steps into the village and exploring close to the hotel.

The terrace was washed down at breakfast time every morning, which is understandable but a shame that we couldn't enjoy it while eating our breakfast. The coffee didn't taste great both mornings - the machine may have needed an overhaul. The parking was very limited. The price seemed on the high side overall.

Stayed here for the weekend as a large family group. The hotel is in a lovely location, the patio area at the back has beautiful views and has an outdoor bar which was handy. The staff were really helpful, nothing was too much trouble

A couple of our rooms smelt of dogs/dog hair in the shower which is off putting if you are not a dog lover. The gluten free breakfast could be a lot better, no cereal choice, and nothing was allergy labelled, we asked the staff if my daughter could eat the muesli and they didn’t know, no GF sausage on the cooked breakfast

The hotel is stunning, food really good, comfy beds, staff were lovely and friendly. It was clean and inviting. The view from our room was glorious, just a shame the sun wasn't shining. Not far from Zip World and offered a welcomed rest after climbing Snowdon that day

The king room we booked was lovely but the bathroom was tiny! No bigger than a small downstairs toilet in a residential house! I feel the £180 we paid for the room was very steep despite it being a nice hotel. Stayed in more spacious rooms for less.

The room was very comfortable, especially the bed, enough room for 3 cases and bags. The staff were very helpful especially the breakfast staff. The breakfasts themselves were very good indeed and the 2 evening meals we had were likewise. Good sized TV and bathroom.

Everything was great as mentioned above. However ( and we did mention this on check out) the toilet cistern was glacial in refilling. Not the end of the world at all 😀

Well equipped room with a lovely balcony overlooking the Menai Straits. Very comfy bed. Lovely large shower. Hotel bar and restaurant great and fabulous outside seating area too with the great views. Breakfast was amazing with great choices for everyone. Dogs welcome to stay the night for a small fee and also allowed in bar and outside area.

Car park a little on the small side when pub/restaurant is open as none residents can take up the spaces.

We had been staying at the Vic for 12 years, usually twice a year, until Covid restrictions meant we couldn't travel. It was lovely to finally return. We've always loved the hotel. The staff are super helpful, friendly and efficient. Our rooms have always been comfortable and very clean. It is the perfect location for us to travel to different parts of Anglesey and North Wales. We walked the entire coastal path around Anglesey using the hotel as our base. Wonderful views from some rooms and the garden. Very good, freshly prepared breakfasts and we've enjoyed the evening meals, usually eaten in the bar from choice. I did approve of the white cotton bed linen.

The hotel is now under new ownership and is due to have a major overhaul. We were very relieved that the lovely, local staff remained and by and large the hotel was as great to stay in as ever. However we were amazed at the 50% increase in the cost of our stay. We realise that once the hotel has been fully upgraded there would be an increase in tariff but to increase the tariff before these upgrades were undertaken was unnecessary.

The staff were friendly and helpful from the moment we stepped through the door. They made sure we had everything and even gave our little dog a fuss. The food was delicious and so was the coffee. The location/view and local amenities was all we needed during our stay and if we weren't visiting family, we'd have been quite content with staying at the hotel and in Menai Bridge throughout our stay on Anglesey.

The only criticism was the bathroom. The shower was outdated and the bathroom was very small. Would've preferred a bathroom with a shower but I know most don't have those these days. Aside from that, everything else was perfect. :)

The food was great breakfast & also we had evening meal too. The room was great & clean, if anything perhaps a bit too warm. Staff were great - especially those that were clearly dog friendly!

It was just a shame we had to eat in the Bar, when the restaurant looked very spacious. In the bar with our dog it was hard to find adequate space when it was busy - Consider allowing dogs in certain area of the restaurant??
