Staff wonderful especially landlady Wendy. Needed a room because husband had a stroke while we were on holiday, her first words were " I'll run you to the hospital!" Barman Will great too, another barman very friendly also. Breakfast great, nothing too much trouble Wendy has turned this bulding around , my room was basic but fine and clean..very handy right opposite station and bus stops. Was very easy to get to the hospital.very good value.

Building is old and therefore some room facilities basic, but has everything you really need. Lots of traffic outside but couldn't hear at night with window closed.

All the staff that we met here were very welcoming, which made it feel very comfortable to be here! In a perfect little spot, excellent if you were arriving by train and also provided parking with excellent flexibility. We had the room with the shared bathroom but reception had let us know that we had it to ourselves. It would only be shared with one other room on any other occasions. Convenient location to explore North Wales.

The chair in the room was a little tired, but not a problem for us. The curtains were a little thin with the bright lights outside but we still slept ok.

Great staff good location for what we needed

Beds were terrible we had a twin room with two single beds but were very small and uncomfortable single beds didn't enjoy the bathroom too was a lot of mold and damp in The bathroom, having told the staff when we checked in that were doing nights and still was put up in the room next to a room being worked on so had the worst sleep tradesman was just doing his job but ruined me stay here and ruined our little sleep that we was able to get during our stay very dissatisfied.

The lady who greeted me at Reception when I checked in was absolutely lovely! She also served me at the bar... :) Great Zinfandel Rose, just what I needed. Great price for a Saturday night.

There was nothing I didn't like. The hotel needs to be a little more clean & updated, but other than that, it's fit for purpose. The shower/ wc room for Room 6 (shared) - the shower needs to be looked at as it's not spouting correctly/ fit the drain cover too.

All the staff were fantastic and accommodating. We had a great time and we felt very well looked after. I loved the fact that we didn't have to look for it. It was literally 1 min from the train station and we were not disturbed by the trains. We couldn't hear anything.

The only thing was that in our bathroom the toilet would make a noise after flushing so if someone is a light sleeper or easily disturbed, then maybe say that when booking the room. Maybe it was only in the room that we stayed in. We didn't mind, though.

The room was very clean and the bed linen had a clean fresh smell. The staff were very friendly and helpful particularly the lady called Wendy. The location was perfect for us as it was easy access to the various location we visited.

The only problem we had was with the WIFI as the connection was not very great! Could have given the hotel 10/10 if not for this!

The staff was so friendly and informative, it was our first time in Bangor so she told us all the good local spots. She truly went above and beyond🫶 she kept our bags behind the counter for us even though we had checked out for the day so we could go to the Bangor Uni open day without unnecessary luggage. Lovely place and lovely people! Super clean rooms too and perfect location, right opposite the train station 🤗

We stayed at the Traxx Hotel 14th & 15th January 2023. It is ideally located opposite the Bangor Railway Station. We were there to visit Friends so we did not eat in the hotel. The dining room was very nicely laid out. The staff gave us our privacy but were very friendly and helpful when needed. The hotel is a little 'tired' but it's clean, comfortable and very reasonably priced. We will return.

I visit north Wales quite regularly and after a 7 hour train journey, the traxx hotel which is literally across the road from the train station, is a sight for sore eyes. The staff are friendly and helpful. It is super clean and tidy and beds are comfy. The breakfasts are delicious and the bar serves cold beer - what more could you ask for really. Don't expect boutique chic or lots of extras but this is value for money. I wouldn't stay anywhere else on my visits to Bangor.

I liked the size of the bed and the presentation of the room when we arrived. They had tea/coffee making facilities and that made us feel very welcome.

Lights attached to the hotel which change colour, these bled into the room as we were trying to go to sleep and I forgot to pack an eyemask, so I had trouble going to sleep. The room was also very hot (not much you can do due to weather) but an option to rent a fan for the night would've been very appreciated.
