This was one of the nicest and friendliest B & B's that we have stayed in. Our host, Bryan, was very friendly and happy to chat about the area and advise on what was good to see/do. There was also plenty of literature in the place, including maps that you could refer to. The house itself is old and very pretty with ample parking and is on a road that is not busy at all, so very quiet. Our room was lovely and clean and the bathroom had a built in shower that was also had jets and steam room which was a nice surprise. Breakfast was pretty much everything you could wish for with cereals, toast, fruit and a very tasty full english. Location wise it is central for Caenarfon, Bangor, Anglesey and Conwy and many of the other great attractions around the area, but if you just want a lovely beach with a little cafe and no seaside trappings, then try LLanfairfechan, just off the A55 towards Conwy. So much to explore in the area, we will definitely be back.

We liked everything! It was a fantastic stay at a perfect location to get to Snowdonia without paying an exorbitant price. We also got to avoid a lot of tourists. The bed was excellent, super comfortable. The room was cool enough to sleep and we went during a heatwave. Strong water pressure, good lighting, free and safe parking. It really had everything we could want. We had the full English breakfast and everything was cooked perfectly. And the host was a perfect mix of friendly and professional. We really enjoyed this stay!

To be honest I was very surprised with this stay for a small family run BnB I have to say it’s extremely good I was surprised with the hosts hard work and overall effort he was a great guy, friendly and was if I’m honest the best host I’ve had the pleasure to stay with and I work away every week 50 weeks a year this BnB was outstanding, so beautiful and well maintained for an old building was all round amazing highly recommended to anyone wanting to stay in this area of north wales this BnB is the only place you want to stay 10 out of 10

Not a bad thing to say about this BnB it was an amazing experience and an excellent stay away I would go back for a holiday break here that’s how nice it was so peaceful and relaxing had the best sleep I’ve had in ages at a hotel or BnB while away working to the guy that runs this place keep up the good work ur amazing and ur BnB is amazing 10outof10

Absolutely amazing place to stay we had the little self catered cottage at the back of the house. There was plenty of room for us to move about with a lively big sized bed A power shower and a good sized bath. The owner Brian was a lovely host and was very helpful with any queries would definitely stay there again if we revisit wales. It's in a very ideal locations and only a 10 minute drive away to snowdon.

Everything you would expect from a classic B&B. Bryan is a great host who made us feel welcome from the first minute we arrived. The rooms, although a bit dated, were very comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was very tasty and came each time with a smile from Bryan - getting us of on a good start of the day.

The whole place could do with a little freshening up here and there. But, as said, our host more than made up for this.

Huuuge extremely comfy bed, tasty breakfast, Bryan accommodated my gluten free diet, great central location for visiting Zipworld, Snowdon and Anglesey, lovely private bathroom with amazing bath and shower, robes to skip across the landing in, extra sink in the room, plenty of storage in the room to put clothes away, Bryan put fresh mugs and bottles of water in our room every day, plenty of parking.

This was the first time I've stayed in a b&b. I thought it would be weird, but it was like a mini-hotel except I had several nice conversations with the owner before he served breakfast. He even had literature on things to do and see unlike other places I've stayed recently. The location is a little out of the way, but it was close to a bus stop and there was a paved walking trail to the nearest town (Bethesda). I attached pics I took on the trail.

This was an excellent self-catering cottage, with all the features that you would expect, cosy, warm and a lovely place to stay (the TV in the kitchen and bedroom was a nice touch). Brian is a great host and was helpful and friendly. As a base for exploring Snowdonia, it is really well located and is not far from the shopping and services on the edge of Bangor.

There's nothing to dislike in a major way. I did struggle to understand the more complicated settings of the shower and there were a few minor signs of wear - water stains on the main beams of the rooms, the markings on the cooker had faded so it wasn't straightforward to work out what to set it on - but these are all minor and mostly cosmetic. Brian did say that the area out the back of the cottage was a work in progress too. These are small things though

We stayed in the cottage at the rear of the property. It was spacious and had everything we needed for self catering, and included free off street parking. The host was friendly and responsive to questions. The king size bed was extremely comfortable. Under floor heating kept the place warm. The location was very quiet.

There was a small table and chairs outside but the area was untidy so we didn't use it.

The location is lovely and peaceful, with very little traffic passing the B&B. It's a perfect spot for exploring North Wales, being 10 minutes from Bangor and 30 minutes from Snowdon or the far tip of Anglesey. Brian is very friendly and gave us plenty of helpful information and suggestions. The room was very comfortable, just what we were looking for.
