Conveniently situated for the university which was exactly what I needed. Lots of parking too and the (free) Wi-Fi connection was also excellent. Staff were really helpful and friendly and the room was clean and tidy, if a little dated in some areas. That said, mine came equipped with everything I needed: tea/coffee tray, toiletries, hairdryer, iron etc. Breakfast was plentiful and well-cooked, although non-cooked options are limited to cereals and pastries.

Given the price, my room was a little dated in terms of the furnishings/finish and some areas of the hotel are starting to look a run down. The mattress in my room was also quite uncomfortable, although that might just be my personal preference! Sound-proofing in my room was also not great. My room was next to the (rather noisy) lift so I was glad that I bought earplugs with me!

Perfect location, right near the University where I was working, and an incredible view out to the Menai Straits! The service was wonderful and all the staff were more than happy to help with their welcoming approach. Room was beautiful, too!

I think it's a little late to check in at 3pm, especially if you're to check out by 10am the next day, thankfully the staff were very kind and let me into my room early! It's just a shame that you can't get more time in there, especially if you're in the area on business etc. Only other thing I'd say is that there needs to be more variety at breakfast for vegetarians, especially in the cooked section!

We were delayed arriving but the staff were very willing to accommodate our change of dinner time. The room was very quiet as was the whole building. We didn't realise how many guests were staying till breakfast next morning. There is a lovely view onto the water from the dining room. The portions of food at dinner were generous. A buffet breakfast which had enough choices for a morning or two, but might be a little limiting if staying longer.

The dining tables felt sticky. They were clean and we saw staff cleaning up so I can only think it was the cleaning agent involved. Our room was quite a walk from reception which would need to be highlighted for some clients. (Our room did have a bathroom fitted for less able guests) The rooms are a little dated but then it is university accommodation in term time. If on public transport or walking The Management Centre is quite a distance uphill.

The location is great, short walk into Bangor and everything was very clean.

It was pretty noisy early mornings outside our room (339) with reversing vehicles as well as banging and thumping around loading/unloading, not good if you want a lie in! We only ate breakfast during our stay; the food was fresh and well cooked but very chaotic on Saturday morning as there weren’t enough tables, then it was difficult to get crockery and a hot drink. Finding our way around the building was quite confusing at first as the signs are a little misleading in places!

The staff couldn’t be more accommodating. Our daughter was Ill in hospital, so it was only my husband and our other daughter who were staying here. They gave my husband a take away box to bring breakfast into me in hospital, they also held the room for them for the week without charging and only asked that he let them know each day if he needs it or not. We have one less thing to worry about now thanks to them and it is a big worry not knowing where you are going to stay at night while your child is in hospital and your in a different country because you have no back up. I haven’t been to see the place myself but my husband said the view from reception is amazing! I will definitely be booking here if we come back to Bangor.

Comfortable double room on the lower ground floor with access via lift from car park. Excellent service from friendly staff at Reception and Dining Room. Lovely to have some Welsh speaking staff on duty during our stay as we speak Welsh. Delicious breakfast with plenty of choices from cooked, continental and healthy options. Also catered for Coeliac (gluten and wheat free). Diolch yn fawr / thank you.

We had to request a second chair, second set of towels and we found the bed 'lumpy'. We stayed in Mon, bedroom 117.

I’ve stayed at The Management Centre a few times whilst visiting for work at the university. the staff are always incredibly kind, polite and happy to help, the rooms are beautifully presented and you are welcomed with great warmth.

There’s never anything that I dislike about the hotel, but on this occasion there were a couple of issues. First, the room didn’t appear to have been dusted, with cobwebs hanging from the ceiling and a thick layer of dust on the wall over the headboard. There were also some marks on the floor that didn’t seemed to have been cleaned before I checked in, and finally the WiFi and signal this wing of the hotel were dreadful. I’ve stayed in other parts/floors of tue hotel before and have never experienced this, so given that people are here in some cases on business/study I do think this is something that needs to be looked at, especially when the building is on campus too!

The accommodation was really good with excellent location and good facilities which were very clean. All of the staff that we had contact with were very friendly and efficient in meeting our needs.

The food could have been so much better. We ate in the 1884 Restaurant and the food was pretty dire (Lasagne and Vegetable Tagliatelle). Breakfast had obviously been cooked some time before because the bacon was dried out and the coffee bitter (stewed) - our second cup of coffee was obviously freshly made and so much better.

Location beautiful, overlooking the Menai Strait with peaceful walks along the water. Breakfast was immense. Staff were lovely. Cleanliness was faultless. Four star accommodation for 2 star prices.

The place was a little confusing to navigate. Reception was quite difficult to find, would make more sense for it to be on the ground floor. The bed in my room was a little uncomfortable for my particular taste. The bar was not open at all during my stay, it would have been nice to enjoy a drink there as the place is not within walking distance of a local pub (I don't think).

I've stayed in a few university facilities and this was by far the best experience to date. Room was really well set up and equipped and the building has been impressively given a make over. Easy walk down into the town and ate out at Bar Clio which was very good. Breakfast standard but good range and the whole place spotless. They even gave me some croissants for the road as they had been freshly made.

Nothing really. The room I was in was on the third floor and its a bit of a warren so for some people there might be a bit of climbing.
