The hotels location is perfect for events at the Silverstone circuit being approximately 20 minutes drive away and easy to get to the main access roads such as the A5 or M1 home again travelling north or south. The room was bright, clean and pleasant and the bed very comfortable and the air conditioning was a welcome addition. The restaurant is good for dinner and has a good breakfast selection. Wi FI is free and easily accessed and didn't drop out or slow up. The staff in all the locations of the hotel were friendly and helpful throughout.

Unfortunately the shower in my room was 'extremely difficult' to get to a temperature to use comfortably as the 'VERY hot' water seemed to dominate the control irrespective of where it was set. This may be something for maintenance?

Reception staff very friendly and supportive, willing to obliged any issues you may have, especially Nicola. Room very modern, clean & tidy. Bed very comfy. View, leafy landscape and golf club. Breakfast, such a great variety and tasty.

Slight issue with room 150. Lovely Queensize upgrade. As we entered into the room aweful damp drainage smell. We open the windows smell dispersed. Every time we went out and entered the smell was there again. My hubby worked out the problem. It was damp by the door, waters leaked under the carpet from the shower. We resported the problem, was offered another room. We were happy with room and where it was located, did not want to change. I also sugguest some sort of notice or sign for people returning to rooms after 12am. As a number of inconsiderate loud, drunk, people having conversations in the corridors, disturbing my sleep. Quite annoying! No local shops, a car is necessary to for resturants, supermarkets or shopping centre.

The breakfast variety was great - I really enjoyed my breakfast. The rooms were spacious and a good size.

My room didn't have a fridge for my water available which was needed due to the hot weather The attentiveness of staff could be improved to ensure plates are cleared away from table promptly. The staff could improve with keeping up with re-filling of the breakfast buffet. It seemed they were perhaps short of staff. For dinner, we waited an hour for food to be served between the starter and the main. This is not ideal when there is a table of young children who are hungry and restless. The shower tap seemed a bit stiff and quite difficult to move to appropriate temperature.

We stayed here for an easier and cheaper access to London via train for a concert. Lovely hotel. Quick, efficient and very friendly check in. Room was very clean, spacious and comfortable with tea and coffee making facilities. The bar is open 24 hours, so when we got back, we had a little night cap and sat out on the lovely outdoor seating area. Breakfast was a little pricey, but it was a buffet with lots of choice, either hot or cold, it was all freshly cooked and was delicious. Again, staff at breakfast were very efficient and friendly. Would definitely stay here again and would certainly recommend.

The property is in a good location, I really liked the lady who checked us in, she was very friendly! The hotel also provides an amazing English breakfast which we enjoyed very much. The hotel also had games we borrowed some to keep ourselves occupied which was nice. The parking spaces are plenty and free which was good.

The room wasn’t as clean as I expected and it had a bad smell when we walked in. we could smell that someone was in there before us and it wasn’t pleasant. we ended up having to ask the receptionist for an air fresher because even airing the room did not help.

Welcoming. Clean. Whirlpool bath in the bathroom. Good air conditioning. Settee and coffee table in the big spacious bedroom. Huge bed. Ironing board and iron. Two dressing robes and slippers. We didn’t have breakfast or dinner but the bar was well stocked. Lots of parking space but the hotel was a bit of a distance from the Town centre. Lots of drawers and big wardrobe.

Just the distance from the Town Centre - we drove but it would be much more difficult on foot - definitely need a car.

The room was stunning and the bed was super comfy, the bathroom was great too and the shower was lovely. The restaurant was great too. Fast service and great food. TVs are great and the wifi was super fast.

There was a small stain on the pillow and there was way too many decorative pillows on the bed, but I get some people do like that. Would be nice for rooms to have a small mini fridge in them. Check in could have been faster too. Only one person on the check in desk on a Friday evening.

Hotel had a great smell, felt like you were in a spa. Haven't noticed any hotel having their own smell before! Very tranquil setting. Staff were the friendliest hotel staff I've come across. Every person we interacted with was polite, very friendly and very accommodating. Food was tasty and had a fantastic selection for breakfast. Bed was extremely comfortable. Overall Im now sold on staying in the Mercure going forwards. Great experience and will be returning.

Room was cold on arrival. Warmed up to a pleasant temperate though. There was a bit of coffee spilt on the wall near the wastebin. Only one set of towels in the bathroom but found another set in the cupboard. It would be really nice if the hotel considered adding face cloths and bathrobes. Some hotels have them and some don't. It's a nice extra though.

The hotel was really nice, great decor and lovely fragrance when you walk in. the hotel is laid out well with a smallish bar and restaurant area. We had meal in the bar area which was fish/chips/peas and a cheese omelette/chips/salad and it was very very nice. We had breakfast as well which was nice though we did have a problem with the toaster and the bread getting stuck lol. Great outdoor seating areas and right by a golf course which also has a separate pirate themed crazy golf. We had a game and enjoyed it. The rooms were great and very comfy beds. we stayed in a privileged room and had extras (drinks/snacks/nespresso) in the room, separate seating area and a great view of the golf course out the window. A big bathroom with jacuzzi bath (unfortunately it wasn’t working) and a lovely powerful shower.

Everything was really great but unfortunately the jacuzzi bath in the room we had requested wasn’t working and I was very much looking forward to it. The staff were great and tried to fix the problem but nothing could be done. No other rooms available but they have sorted us out with a credit note for % off on our next stay. Hopefully our jacuzzi bath will be wonderful next time round.

Perfect - 5* service. Sofia was INCREDIBLE. As disabled person, my partner asked if we could have a room with a fridge (for medication purposes) and she kindly made us aware of the price upgrade for this, but in the end gave it to us for free. I'm so absolutely grateful. The room was FABULOUS. So comfortable, so clean. Absolutely entirely would make an exception to return to THIS hotel. All the staff I encountered were fabulous. I am so grateful. I am still absolutely thrilled and I'm a fussy one!

Perfect sorry! :) No comments aside of a bit of mould in the bathroom but, the service was so good that I didn't mention it
