Staff very friendly and helpful, particularly Tyrone and the sole waitress in the bar area. Both working flat out but very efficient and a credit to the hotel. There was an event on which we were not informed of so restaurant closed early therefore we ate in the bar with party-goers arriving which we didn't mind at all. We had roast lamb shoulder and chicken supreme, both served with dauphinoise and lovely vegetables. An excellent meal and would order both dishes again without hesitation. Parking excellent and plentiful so you can park right outside your room door which is perfect for those with mobility issues. Bed was vast and very comfortable. Room and bathroom spotless, not huge but adequate for our needs. An additional shelf in bathroom would be very welcome for toiletries. Netflix is available on tv in room. This is not a traditional hotel, more like a very nice motel as there is no quiet area or guest lounge to sit. Perhaps the bar would be more like a quiet lounge had there not been an event on but this did not detract from our stay. The public areas and toilets were also very clean and welcoming.

My partner ordered egg Forestier for breakfast but a vegan full English turned up instead. My full English breakfast was 'okay' but certainly not exceptional. Mushroom and whole tomato very undercooked and tasteless. My partner's egg Forestier eventually arrived after I had finished my breakfast which spoiled the breakfast experience. The egg Forestier had a cold, untoasted muffin with a wet, undercooked mushroom under the poached eggs. The hollandaise sauce was awful, leaving a very putrid aftertaste. The whole dish was inedible so my partner made do with croissants and toast rather than wait for yet another meal. Having said that, we would definitely stay again but perhaps choose a different option for breakfast.

The breakfast was fantastic! Absolutely delicious and the staff are also very lovely. It's modern, clean and quiet.

There seemed to be an issue with the lights in our room (22). They kept flickering on and off in the main room and bathroom. The left side bedside reading lamp was flickering all the while it was on. The room is very bright at night, the outside light shines through the cracks around the door, the top window also let in a lot of light, as did the main window despite strip blinds and curtains. The bed was a little too firm, I would suggest a topper that guests can take off if not needed.

We arrived very late after our wedding finished in Buckingham. We were greeted by a member of staff when we arrived at the hotel. He even helped with our bags as he could see we were still in our wedding outfits. Room was clean and bed was very comfortable. We woke up feeling rested and ready to travel on to our honeymoon.

We chose to have breakfast at the restaurant the following morning. Glad we didn’t buy £18 breakfast through booking.com as buying what we wanted was much cheaper and less wasteful. We both had omelettes for breakfast. Our meals were unfortunately very oily and salty.

Pleasantly surprised, a modern decorated spacious room,immaculately clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room had toiletries, slippers and everything required.The location is surrounded by a small golf course and lake.Had dinner at the restaurant a Sunday lunch which was very good quality even at the end of the shift. The breakfast was also delicious and the dining room stylishly decorated.The hotel also has a little gym. I will definitely return.

Everyone had mentioned the bumpy road leading up to the hotel but it wasn't too bad.The property looks a little like an American motel layout I had stairs up one flight along a small walkway. The reception was redirected to the club house but I ended up around the back. It does have weddings and celebrations there but was quiet when I went.The room did get hot but the window could be opened and there was a fan provided.

The setting was amazing - beautiful room over looking the lake. I didnt eat or drink there but I did use the gym which was pretty good for a hotel gym.

The only criticism I had was all the rooms are accessed via an external walk way - all evening from 5pm onwards until almost midnight everytime someone walked past the room it sounded like a heard of elephants. When I handed my key card in the following morning the breakfast room was full of workmen so I can only assumn it was their big clumpy boots! Otherwise this was a fab place.

The staff were really friendly and provided a good service. The room was very modern, clean and fresh. The beds were really comfortable. The food in the restaurant in the evening was of a very high standard and delicious.

On Sunday morning it was obvious that there was a lack of staff as we waited a very long time for our breakfast. The poor lady was rushing around trying to do everything as quickly as she could. There was a funny sewerage smell by the main doors to the bar area. We were not allowed to add the service tip to the main bill when we paid for our meal by card. We were told that they could only take a cash tip. Which was such a shame as we didn't have cash on us.

The restaurant was exceptional it was by far gastronomic standard in smell and flavours, yet generous portions. Breakfast was equally good and generous. I needed to print something and the reception went out of their way to help me print my document. Brilliant service all around.

The room was a little cold for my liking, 19 in the evening and 17 in the morning, and I couldn't work out the heater, so that could have been a little better.

I stayed at your hotel with my grandson as we were attending Ford Fair at Silverstone. The location was fantastic as only a 20 minute drive away from the circuit. As I own a valuable car that I only use for shows and I was concerned that the place I found to stay at had good parking. The parking was fantastic as I had my own bay right outside my door. The location was great as it is well set back from the main road, this kept my car out of view. The room were very clean and comfortable. I had asked for an iron which was there on arrival. We spent a couple of hours relaxing in the bar which was very nice and the staff were as well. I can't comment on the breakfast as we left well before it would have been served. As soon as the dates for next years Ford Fair are announced I will be booking with you again. Highly recommend for anyone attending events at Silverstone.

The only thing I can think of is that the entry road to the hotel had a lot of potholes, although these had been filled. So in effect it was a bit of bumpy ride coming in.

Room was of adequate size, clean and tidy with a nice view of the lake. Breakfast and dining areas both very nice and comfortable. Staff friendly and accommodating. Nice and quiet surroundings. The gym facilities were very good, both indoor and outdoor equipment. Plenty of parking.

The road that leads to the country house could do with repairing - it certainly did test the suspension on my little sports car.

Location is so quiet and peaceful, it was lovely. I loved the lake view from my room! Room facilities were fab, very clean and comfortable. The food was exceptional, with plenty of vegan options and the staff very accommodating.

There was no air con in my room. In the recent hot weather it was very warm! I understand why the window doesn’t open fully but it would be nice to have some air con. I did use the fan though.
