This hotel is located on the A6 between Bedford and Wellingborough, offering lovely roads for enjoyable drives with panoramic views. The Hotel building has an architectural charm resembling a converted 16th Century coach house and grabs your attention with its striking wooden beams. It was a delightful change from the typical modern hotels I usually frequent. My room was spacious and comfortable, providing a relaxing atmosphere for a restful night's sleep. my ultimate test of hotels is the water pressure which was superb, providing a hot and invigorating shower experience. The staff exhibited genuine friendliness, actively engaging with guests and catering to their needs. As a result, I was well taken care of and thoroughly satisfied with my dining and accommodation. As a bonus the owners' passion for classic motoring adds an intriguing aspect to this establishment. It's an ideal rest stop for those embarking on a classic car run, embracing the shared fascination for vintage automobiles.
Because I had booked a short one-night stay. There wasn't anything I didn't like.

A warm welcome upon arrival (I did call ahead to Kate to say we would be checking in a little later than planned) which wasn't a problem at all. Myself & my 13yr Son stayed on this occasion. All the staff were very well presented, polite & friendly. The decor, furniture and atmosphere of the building was very pleasant and well kept. Clear signage from the car park, throught the property eg: Hotel, room entrance, Bar, Toilets, Reception area, Rooms etc. We ate in the restaurant of which wasn't a long wait considering how busy it was. The cleanliness was of a very high standard. Very comfortable beds. Our room was a good size. The car park is Spacious and well maintained. Plenty of toiletries available to use. A good variety of TV channels available too. The breakfast choices were good. My son had the large Full English breakfast and I had the Large Vegetarian breakfast. The coffee was nice too, not bitter or sharp. I would definitely recommend a visit here & I would stay again when in the area as I live in South Wales.
Nothing to not like here.

The hotel was recommended to us by a friend who lives in Milton Ernest and it was a great recommendation. There is alot of parking, it is a lovely pub and the owners and locals there are very friendly. The room was a good size and we had a clean bathroom with bath/shower. The bed was very comfortable and the pillows were lovely! The food at the pub is very good, in the evening it was a great place to have a few drinks with a nice vibe, and the rooms are far enough away from the pub to be able to retire and we had a nice quiet evening's sleep. Would highly recommend.
Can't think of anything.

I understand from talking to one of the locals that the current owners have only had the property for 3 months and that before it was not great. They have done a great job in this short time in making the venue a welcoming vibrant place (it was quiz night) where the food was good and the rooms quiet and comfortable. The bed was a little soft for me and it was a very warm night but the weather did mean I could eat outside whilst the quiz went on. A good place to stay
A fan in the room for a hot night would be welcome

Lovely comfy beds, nice size room , bathroom spotless, nice big towels, all you needed for a night away. Oh and windows that actually open fully on a hot night Lovely bar, good beer, food was a bit hit and miss , my sons platter was awesome value and tasted lovely. My fish not so much. Breakfast though was spot on and gluten free bread for my son was a welcome edition. Loads of parking , outside seating area Would def stay again
My fish def wasnt a large and it was tasteless Chips we're good though

We arrived late just as the food serviced had finished. However the chef was asked to stay on duty to do me and my partner some food and well I'm glad we managed to try out the food. We both had a 3 meat roast and it was exactly what we needed after a long day. Massive thankyou for this as not alot of places would do this.
Only an observation but the bathroom in our room just had no air flow so stayed pretty damp and wet after we had showered. This is an old building so no issue for us really.

Staff were excellent! I was a little late arriving and the kitchen was due to close but it stayed open to make me a meal which was much appreciated. There were several short power outages which knocked the pubs EPOS systems out but they managed admirably. Breakfast was the nicest I have had for a long time, excellent quality and really well cooked and presented. Bed was very comfy and room spacious
Room 3 had a slightly musty smell but once I had opened the window and let some air in this was fine.

The staff at The Queens Head Inn are absolutely fabulous! Owners are so accommodating, so involved and just wonderful hosts and people. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was AMAZING!
Basin shelf was low, a little tricky to wash your face. But minor detail.

Room was comfortable. Good facilities. Great breakfast.
Not so keen on the air fresheners in the corridor. But accept it is an old building. Or barn conversion and air fresheners may be required at certain times of the year.
