Good choice at breakfast Meals are served throughout the day. so there is only one standard menu. The dinner menu is a little bit uninspired; if there was just one ' dinner of the day' which wasn't a grill, but maybe included a sauce and an alternative to chips, that would have been welcome.

I had had a stressful time and had gone away for a couple of days to really relax. Unfortunately on my first night there was a problem with the public toilets adjacent to the bar, meaning that an alternative had to be found. Unfortunately my bedroom was adjacent to this alternative, which meant that a door was slammed every minute, which was really annoying and NOT what I needed. An explanation and apology BEFORE I went out to seek the cause of all the noise would have been a mark of courtesy. The hotel had a big function that night, with many men present, so the situation was maybe unusual. My score would have been higher but for this.,

The hotel is well situated for discovering Narberth. It has excellent spacious parking and is really close to all the town amenities. We had a large suite with an adjoining living room and coffee/tea-making facilities, which we really appreciated. The bed was comfortable, the shower worked well and we enjoyed a good night's sleep each night. Breakfast was very good with a choice of menu.

We would have liked to have a power point in the bathroom but it wasnt a problem as there were plenty in the rest of our suite.

The breakfast service did let our stay down. It was very slow and we had to keep asking for things because there was nothing on the tables. Then it took a long time to arrive or wasn’t enough so we’d have to ask again. The waitress wasn’t particularly helpful or friendly. We absolutely loved the food in the evening, It was excellent! We loved our room and the bed was very comfortable. We loved the hotel decor and original features still present. We loved the location and that there was parking available.

There was a lack of staff around to order drinks with in the evening and there needed to be another person to help at breakfast. We could hear a lot of noise through the walls from room one (we were in room 2) and we could smell marajuana being used.

The hotel was a nice little hotel and a good spot for Narberth. Room was on the smaller side but had everything we needed for one night. Reception Host was lovely and showed us to our room. Large breakfast selection and nicely presented. Downstairs and hall decor was really impressive! But the room didn’t quite match up.

My breakfast came out immediately and then my partners came out approx 20 minutes later. I would prefer them always to be brought out together. room was slightly smaller than hoped - I feel as though maybe I was expecting too much based off the images and nightly cost of £120 per night.

we booked an overnight stay with evening meal and breakfast. Comfortable stay, room was very clean and we loved the personal touches of homemade flapjacks and shortbread- very tasty. Suggest you sell them! Our evening meal was so good. Really enjoyed the various courses and felt the chef was aiming high and succeeded! Breakfast was also tasty with a good selection to choose from. Staff were helpful and courteous.

The building has been beautifully restored & enhanced within the parameters of being a listed property. The front patio is modern & very comfortable. The interiors are classic, with the "country house" stylings that one might imagine should be there. The reception area espouses all the right notes of elegance from a by-gone day but with contemporary accents, while the staircase to the upper floor is quite grand for the size of the property. The bedroom we had was lovely; a good size for the two of us, with storage & shelving either side of the large double bed, & LED lighting above. There is a nice sized dressing table & comfortable straight-backed chair, plenty of mirrors & a very well kept shower room/WC (immaculate). There is a flat-screen TV in the room also. Drinks at the bar were very reasonable, & the choice of breakfast options on offer are excellent. And the breakfasts are in fact superb! The staff are undoubtedly the stars here; impeccable, ever-so polite, attentive & very welcoming. All in all, this is a very nice hotel with classic style & charm ... we will be booking again!

There's a lack of power outlets at the bedside, with only 2 outlets at the dressing table side of the room, plus one above head height (for the wall-mounted TV). A single power socket at either side of the bed (perhaps with USB outlets too, for 'phone charging) would definitely have taken the score on this review up. The shower unit floor became very slippery very quickly; I felt like a gorilla taking ice-skating lessons at first ... but I steadied myself, thankfully, or it could have been a disaster ... and one that even the most discreet ambulance crew would have found hilarious!

Interesting older property; we had to go up and down various staircases to reach our room at the rear of the hotel. (Not a problem.) Our bed was very comfortable, also liked the fact the en suite had a window which we could open. Breakfast was excellent, not least because someone there knows how to cook perfect poached eggs.

Acoustics in the dining room. Bar prices were a bit steep on balance.

Warmly welcomed to hotel. Receptionist was lovely and showed us to our room, which rarely happens at hotels these days. Room was like a ‘home from home’, and was clean and bed comfortable. Lovely touch of homemade shortbread and pecans on arrival. Hotel interiors beautiful. Breakfast was hot and used local produce. Good variety of foods on the menu.

Some minor cleanliness issues in room- spiders and snail in windows (I really dislike spiders!). Was a bit noisy in the morning- could hear floorboards creaking of room upstairs. Can’t be helped, but did disrupt us.

The breakfast was superb with excellent service. The rooms were spacious with very comfortable beds and well fitted bathrooms. Dinner was not available on the Sunday evening, a big disappointment as this was not mentioned on our booking forms. We were offered soup and sandwiches but unfortunately this was of very poor quality.

The above comments relating to the lack of a meal and a very poor substitute. Narberth is a small town where we were unable to obtain a meal anywhere else.

Great location staff are very friendly and helpful. Great food for breakfast. Good size room and everything you need.

There seemed to be a lack of staff at breakfast, and we had to wait for bits and pieces. We never got asked if we wanted any extra toast. There seemed to be a limit on how much you were allowed. The rooms were very warm, but they brought a fan on request, which helped a little. But that's not the hotels fault, as it was very hot for Wales.
