Location was perfect as just a stone's throw away from a family function. Electric entry gates to secure private parking. Lovely room with two comfy chairs, tv, tea making facilities. Super view. Extremely comfy beds. Amazing freshly cooked breakfast, with a choice of sitting in sunny conservatory or cosy dining room. Everything spotlessly clean.

We would have liked a bottle opener. We were given a small bottle of beer after the family party to have in the evening but unable to open it. We had a number for Isobel if anything was required but it didn't really warrant troubling her in the evening. It didn't impact on our stay, of course!

The photos really didn't do the room justice, it was a good size, exceptionally clean and the bed was very very comfortable. The breakfast was fabulous - the fresh fruit salad was so good and the cooked breakfasts used quite obviously quality ingredients, generous portions and absolutely beautifully cooked. The host is lovely - that rare quality of being both friendly and professional. Would recommend without hesitation!

I struggle to find anything we didn't like - if I'm being picky then the TV was a little small for the room and my husband would have liked the option of black pudding with his Full English. However these are truly minor details!

The property was ideally located down the road from the wedding venue we were attending. Access was easy & the owner accommodated our request to check in a bit earlier to freshen up before the event. Breakfast was extensive & delicious. The room was comfortable with pleasant views over countryside

The ability to check-in late. The room was warm and comfy. Breakfast was lovely. Isobel was friendly and helpful.

The closeness of the bathroom door to the bed. The socket for the bed was behind the middle of the bed but luckily it was wrought iron so was accessible

I couldn't fault The Poplars, the communication from Isobel was brilliant, allowing us to check in early. The room was beautifully decorated, the facilities were great. Breakfast was excellent and the view from our room was fab. I would highly recommend 👌

There wasn't anything to dislike!

Friendly welcome, access to a large lounge, and pot of tea for 2 made on our arrival, which was just what we needed.. This made it feel more like self catering, but with the benefit of a lovely delicious home cooked, and not have to do the washing up! Breakfast, was great, with fresh fruit, yoghurt and cereal to help ourselves with, followed by good choice of cooked breakfast. Isobel was friendly approachable but not in your face, the perfect hostess. We loved the friendly dogs too. And the view of the cows in the field, great. My mum and I loved the comfy beds, and i really liked the quality soft bedding. All the decor and furnishings were beautifully thought out.The 2 rooms shared a tiny fridge that had milk in for our brews and cokd water, which was a really nice ouch. Close to Ettington Hotel where my brother and his girlfriend were getting married

Only a tiny thing, My 88 year old mum stayed with me, and as there was a turn on the stairs meant there was a brief moment at the turn, when she had no hand rail, she was absolutely fine with the stairs, I am really nit picking here It was a perfect place for us to stay.

This was a comfortable triple room in a gorgeous home! The owners were kind and helpful, and cooked a nice breakfast! Plenty of parking. We knew this when we booked but the location isn’t very central and you need a car (it didn’t matter to us).

The breakfast was a bit slow.

The location is set in a nice tranquil spot, fresh countryside area and nice and quiet. The host was super friendly and attentive to our needs during our stay. Breakfast was very tasty and just what we needed before heading off for the day.

Fantastic place to stay on the edge of the Cotswolds. Rooms were very nice and comfortable, and Isobel was a lovely host who prepared a wonderful breakfast for us. Can wholeheartedly recommend the Poplars.

Lovely B&B in a beautiful, quiet location with thoughtful touches. We really appreciated the fridge with milk and cold water, and Isobel very kindly offered to pick us up from a wedding nearby and took us back the next morning to collect our car. This was so helpful and saved a lot of effort and money trying to get a taxi! Delicious cooked breakfasts served each morning and attention to detail with daily housekeeping. A great stay - thank you so much.
