From the moment we stepped in to the welcome of a woodburning fire and met by Ashley who showed us to the beautiful room. Everything and everyone just exceptional!

For visit to Elton Johns Tumbleweed Connection photoshoot at Sheffield Park Station - it’s a great stay. Dinner and breakfast was awesome.

Beautiful pub in an idyllic setting.

Nice peaceful location, lunch and breakfast was amazing, the staff were all friendly and arrentive. USB sockets beside bed, iron and ironing board in the cupboard. Decent hand-wash, body wash etc in room, thank you

No bottled water in room, I'm sure that if I'd mentioned it at the bar it would have been rectified but by the time I noticed the bar was closed.

The staff was super friendly, the food was good. The place was clean.

The private bathroom required going down some steps and opening the door was noisy, not great in the middle of the night. The hot tap was very hard to turn so that you wouldn’t scald yourself. A security light came on outside our window most of the night and we could hear people next door talking,

The location was fine.

The room was very small, there was nowhere to put anything, and absolutely everything in the room was of the cheapest quality and broken in parts. When we tried to check out in the morning, the main pub building was locked and no staff were to be seen. Overall, absolutely not worth the £115 we spent.

Friendly staff and nice lunch

We booked 3 rooms on 14th June for a family reunion. Our room was number 1. Very small room, bed and shower but the worst thing was our loo didn’t flush. They tried to sort this which involved 2 staff members coming to take photos plus a plumber all whist we were trying to get changed! There is only room for one person around the bed. The plumber came while we were out and apparently filmed the loo working after repair. It did flush once but then stopped working again. I complained in the morning and was told I need to contact the manager about some kind of refund. Breakfast expensive at £15 with no fruit, juice or cereal with the adequate cooked breakfast. There were issues with the other rooms. The en-suite bathroom had to be accessed via a communal space and down a stair case! The tap was lose and needed careful handling in third twin room.
